전신성 홍반성 루프스 환자 1례와 동창상 홍반성 루프스 환자 1례에 관한 임상적 고찰

Introduction: SLE is autoimmune disease to appear systemic pathology in the connective tissue. Perniotic LE is sub-type of chronic dermal LE which causes purple macules on the terminal part of body-nose, ends of fingers, heals, calfs of the legs, elbows and knees. Objective: The purpose of this study was to estimate the efficiency of oriental medical treatment and management on the SLE and perniotic LE. Subject: We studied 2 patients who visited and hospitalized in Daejon University Oriental Hospital Dept. of Dermatology, with SLE and pemiotic LE from April 2002 till May 2002 Method: We treated them with herb medication, acupuncture and in addition to we consulted western medication if they were needed Results: In case of SLE patient, we considered it to be Yeol-Dok-Chi-Seong, so we priscriped Ga-Mi-So-Dok-Eum1, 2 , Yang-Dok-Baek-ho-Tang first. and till 22 days of hospitalization, we considered to be Gi-Eum-Yang-Heo and priscriped Ji-Hwang-Tang-Hab-Cheong-Sim-Yeon- Ja -Eum-Ga-Mi. but it wasn't adjust and high fever was reaccurred. And till 24 days of hospitalization we priscriped Gal-Geon-Hae-Gi-Tang, and becomed to 25 days, high fever was disappeared and the patient discharged and she has remained generally good condition. In case of Perniotic LE, at first we misdiagnosed her disease as a acral lentiginous melanoma, and we considered it to be Gan-Soo-Yeol-Li-Yeol- Jeung and priscriped Cheong-Pae-Sa-Gan-Tang and transferred her to another hospital, but she was diagnosed Perniotic LE Conclusion: Considering the above results, in case of SLE, in acute phase, we could treat her with oriental-western treatment, and in relief phase, we could treat her with only oriental treatment very efficiently. but in case of perniotic LE, we misdiagnosed it as a acral lentiginous melanoma, but we could experienced very rare perniotic LE case. And also further study is needed on the SLE, and perniotic LE, and we have to systematize of dyagnosis and treatment system.

원예내장에 관한 문헌적 고찰

The Wonyenaejang is equivalent to the (senile)cataract in western medicine. The word cataract is used to describe the natural lens that has turned cloudy. As the natural lens of the eye becomes cloudy, it does not allow light to pass through it. Cataracts usually start as a slight cloudiness that progressively grows more opaque. As the cataract becomes more mature(increasingly opaque and dense), the retina receives less and less light. The light that does reach the retina becomes increasingly blurred and distorted. This causes gradual impairment of vision. If left untreated, cataracts can cause needless blindness. Although there are many kinds of cataracts, a senile cataract is the most common one. We chose the oriental medicine textbooks and the oriental medicine journals that were dealing with the symptoms, etiology, and internal/external treatments. The results were as follows : 1. The main causes of this disease are weak liver and kidney, burning up of the wind and heat in the liver and gall, weak spleen and stomach. 2. As the internal treatment of the Cataract, Geegukjihwangtang is mostly prescribed. 3. As the external treatment of the Cataract, (l) In the field of medicine for external application is commonly prescribed (2) In the field of drug action, frequently used treatments are as follows. emission of the evil, alleviation of fever, removal of lump of blood, and the medicine for external applications. (3) In the field of four Qi, cold medicine is commonly prescribed. (4) In the field of five tastes, bitter/hot/sweet mdicine are commonly prescribed. (5) In the field of toxicity, non-togic medicine is commonly prescribed. (6) In the field of channel distribution, most of the medicine belong to liver channel.

渗出性 多型紅斑(Erythema Multiforme) 患者 1例에 대한 證例報告

Introduction : Erythema multiforme is an inflammatory eruption specialized by target shape erythematous, edematous, blistered dermatitis. Objective : The purpose of this study was to estimate the efficacy of oriental medical treatment and management on erythema multiforme. Subjective : We studied about one patient who visited Daejeon University Oriental Hospital Dept. of Dermatology with exudative erythema multiforme. Method : We treated this disease with herb medicine and acupuncture. Results : This patient had high fever, chilling sense, itching sense, whole body pain and target shape erythema. We diagnosed him as an erythema multiforme. The cause of this disease is bi-seub-yeol and poong-yeol by oriental medical theory. We prescriped to him seon-bang-pae-dok-tang and bang-poong-tong-seong-san. After three days, he could get over these symptoms. Conclusion : Considering this above results, more oriental medical study is needed and oriental medical treatment on the erythema multiforme is very effective to treat this disease.

帶狀疱疹으로 入院한 患者 1例에 對한 症例報告

From December 17th, 2001 to January 5th, 2002, the clinical study was carried out I case of patient with herpes zoster, who has been hospitalised in the Dept. of E.N.T medicine. College of Oriental Medicine, Taejon University, Taejon, Korea. The result were like below: 1. Herpes zoster virus is developed by depression of immune reaction reactivate on dorsal root ganglion. Specialy herpes zoster occured on lumbar is called Junoh-whadan in oriental medicine. 2. Herpes zoster' pathogenetic is clasifiedclasified JunGiNaSang(情志內傷), BiSilGunUn(脾失健運), QiHulUngChe(氣血凝滯). 3. Step of herpes zoster' symptom is erythema, papula, vesicle, pustule, scab. 4. Herpes zoster' pathogenetic was clasified JunGiNaSang(情志內傷) is used for Ong-Dam-Sa-Gan-Tang(龍膽瀉肝湯), incipient symptom was used venesection, UhBangJa(牛蒡子) dressing, exposure of Infra-red.

網膜中心動脈閉鎖 患者 1例에 對한 臨床的 考察

In the Clinical study on 1 Case of Patient with Obstruction of the retinal artery, the results were as follows. 1. Obstruction of the retinal artery is acute disease that vision isdiminished fastly and become a blindness. 2. It belong to the cathegory of Pock Maeng(暴盲) in Oriental Medicine. 3. The causes of Obstruction of the retinal artery were the yin-deficiency of liver and kidney, the stagnation of vital energy and blood stasis, the abundance of phlegm-heat, the yang-deficiency of spleen and kidney, the yin-deficiency of spleen and kidney, the nonfastness of primordial energy etc. 4. We could get the effective result by providing the patient with Jinkansikpung-tang-gami(鎭肝熄風湯加味) in the acute period 5. In Acupuncture treament and other treament, Electro-acupuncture theraphy ana Lodestone theraphy were useo for neurologic stimulation, Body acupuncture and Auricula-acupuncture were used for promoting the circulation of vital energy and blood.

養陰明目湯加味方으로 호전된 Tolosa-Hunt 증후군 1예

The Tolosa-Hunt syndrome is a symptom complex with unilateral painful ophthalmoplegia associated with retro-orbital pain, proptosis and Ⅲ, Ⅳ, Ⅴ-1, Ⅵ cranial nerves palsy due to nonspecific granulomatous inflammation in the superior orbital fissure or cavernous sinus. We experienced a 50 years old female patient with Tolosa-Hunt syndrome who had several clinical signs and symptoms such as ocular pain, headache, sensory loss of face, diplopia, and visual disturbance. In the point of Differentiation of Syndrome(辨證). this subject was diagnosed as Deficiency of yin in liver and kidney(肝腎陰虛), and was administrated with Yangyeummyungmoktang-Gamibang. After treatment of acupuncture and herbal medicine above symptoms were improved.

사상체질과 두피상태의 상관관계에 대한 연구보고

Objectives ; Sasang Constitional Medicine is a part of Korean traditional Medicine, and classify human constitution into four types. Scalp and hair is a part of skin. Skin is one of constitutional charasteristic element. So we researched a correlation between Sasang constitutions and Korean adult scalp and hair condition. This is a basic study to find constitution can be a important factor to care scalp and hair. Methods ; We examined Sasang constitutions and scalp and hair condition of 80 human who aged from 20-50. Scalp disease, dandruff was observed by video micro scope and sebum tape diagnosis. Thickness of hair was measured by Laser Scan Micrometer(LSM-3100). Itching sense and life habit was also investigated. Constitution diagnosis and scalp, hair diagnosis was investigated seperately as a blind test and the data was statistically analyzed with chi-square test, correlation analysis, one-way analysis of varience. Results ; 1. In Sasang Constitution, Taeumin group had significant tendency of oilily scalp. 70% of Taeumin group had oilily scalp. 2. The group of dry or oilily scalp had more itching sense and more sensativity of scalp compaired to neuter scalp group. 3. There was no correlation between height, weight, thickness of hair, itching sense, scalp disease and Sasang constitution. 4. There was correlation between loss of hair and drinking alcohol, obesity, curly hair, soft scalp. Conclusions ; Korean adult scalp and hair condition had correlation with Sasang constitution.
