      • 한·가봉 관계의 현황과 전망 - 60년간의 우호협력과 이를 넘어서 -

        Gabon and South Korea have maintained a long time friendship and cordial relationship and Gabon also served as a bridgehead for Korea’s diplomacy for Africa. Korea and Gabon established diplomatic relations in 1962, and Gabon’s former President Omar Bongo paid a state visit to Korea in 1975. Since then, Gabon has supported Korea’s position almost every time on various international stages. In particular, in the midst of a crisis of COVID-19, trust and confidence between the two countries have been further enhanced through joint cooperation in the fighting against COVID-19, such as Gabon’s import of Korean diagnostic kits, our humanitarian assistance. This mutual cooperation in the fighting against COVID-19 has laid the groundwork for our bilateral cooperation to be upgraded and expanded in many other various areas. Furthermore, Gabon is located in a strategic region linking the Atlantic Ocean and Central Africa and rich in various natural resources like crude oil, manganese and forest etc. In this regards, Gabon and Korea have a great potential for mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields, as current President Ali Bongo Ondimba has promoted its economic development plans with his strong leadership. Korea and Gabon, which celebrate the 60th anniversary of diplomatic ties in 2022, are now at a turning point for a new leap forward in its bilateral relations. Through the Korea-Gabon summit held in Seoul in July 2022, two leaders emphasized that the two countries could create a win-win synergy effect through mutual cooperation in various fields. Korea, which has strong technological prowess in IT and infrastructure construction, and Gabon, which is rich in resources such as oil and forests, agreed to further strengthen cooperation by utilizing each other’s strengths. The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Gabon will continue to cooperate on global issues, such as cooperation in the areas of forestry to respond to climate change, addressing a pandemic like Covid-19 and responding to disruptions in global supply chain through cooperation in the areas of natural resources, while further enhancing the existing friendly and cooperative relationship between the two countries.

      • 임의형상 배열센서에 적용 가능한 다중표적 방위각 추적 알고리즘

        Ryu 등은 선형 선배열센서를 이용하여 표적의 방위각 궤적을 추적하는 알고리즘을 제안하였다. Ryu 등이 제안한 방위각 추적 알고리즘은 선형 선배열센서의 출력신호를 이용하여 신호부공간을 추정하고, 추정된 신호공간으로부터 각 표적의 방위각 이노베이션을 구하며, 이렇게 구한 방위각 이노베이션을 각 표적에 할당된 칼만필터의 입력으로 사용함으로써 표적의 방위각 궤적을 추적한다. 이러한 구조를 가지는 Ryu의 방위각 추적 알고리즘은 별도의 데이터연관 필터가 필요 없으며 효율적이라는 장점을 가지고 있다. 그러나 Ryu의 방위각 추적 알고리즘은 선형 선배열센서를 사용하는 환경에서 제안되었기 때문에 임의형상 배열센서에 적용하기에는 부적합하다. 배열센서를 사용하는 여러 응용분야에서 배열센서를 구성하는 센서들은 실제로 위치오차를 가지며, 배열센서는 임의형상 배열센서가 된다. 본 논문에서는 Ryu 알고리즘의 장점과 추적 성능을 그대로 유지하면서 임의형상 배열센서에 적용할 수 있는 방위각 추적 알고리즘을 제안한다. Ryu et al. proposed a multiple target DOA tracking algorithm using a linear sensor array. In Ryu's algorithm first, the signal subspace is estimated using sensor output and the angular innovations of targets are extracted from the estimated signal subspace. Next, the DOA's of targets are tracked using the angular innovations as the inputs of Kalman filters. Ryu's algorithm has good features that it has no data association problem and is efficient. However, Ryu's algorithm can't be a lied to an arbitrarily shaped array because it was proposed using linear sensor array. Actually, when the sensor array is used in the various application fields, sensors have a position error. Therefore, the sensor array can be an arbitrarily shaped array. In this paper, we propose a multiple target DOA tracking algorithm applicable to an arbitrarily shaped array, and it sustains the good features of Ryu's algorithm.

        효율적인 방위각 이노베이션 계산식을 가진 수정된 다중표적 방위각 추적 알고리즘

        Ryu 등은 방위각 이노베이션을 효율적으로 구할 수 있는 계산식을 가진 다중표적 방위각 추적 알고리즘을 제안하였으며, 이 알고리즘은 데이터연관 문제가 발생하지 않는다는 장점을 가지고 있다. Ryu 알고리즘의 효율적인 방위각 이노베이션 계산식은 선배열센서를 사용하는 경우에 대하여 유도하였기 때문에, Ryu 알고리즘은 선배열센서에만 적용이 가능하다. 다중표적방위각 추적 문제를 연구하는 많은 분야에서 다양한 형태의 배열센서를 사용하고 있다. 특히, 소나(Sonar)에서는 선배열센서뿐만 아니라 원통형 배열센서도 많이 사용되고 있으며, 원통형 배열센서를 사용하는 대표적인 소나로 선체고정형 소나(Hull Mounted Sonar)가 있다. 본 논문에서 Ryu의 다중표적 방위각 추적 알고리즘을 원통형 배열센서에 적용할 수 있도록 수정하고, 다양한 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통해서 수정된 알고리즘의 추적성능을 확인한다. Ryu et al. proposed a multiple target angle-tracking algorithm with efficient equation for angular innovation, and Ryu's algorithm has good feature that it has no data association problem. Ryu's algorithm is only applicable to linear sensor array, because its efficient equation for angular innovation is derived in case of using a linear sensor array. In a many fields studying multiple target angle-tracking, the various shapes of sensor array are used. In sonar, a cylindrical sensor array is as much used as a linear sensor array, a example is hull mounted sonar. In this paper, Ryu's algorithm is modified to be applicable to cylindrical sensor array, and the tracking performance of a modified algorithm is verified by various computer simulations.

        근거리 환경에서의 3차원 배열센서 형상 보정 기법

        Most sensor array signal processing methods for multiple source localization require knowledge of the correct shape of array(the correct positions of sensors that consist array), because sensor position uncertainty can severely degrade the performance of array signal processing. In particular, it is assumed that the correct positions of the sensors are known, but the known positions may not represent the true sensor positions. Various algorithms have been proposed for 2-D sensor array shape calibration in far field environment. However, they are not available in near field. In this paper, 3-D sensor array shape calibration algorithm is proposed, which is available in near field.

        ML 기법에 기반을 둔 측정치 융합기법을 가진 다중표적 방위각 추적 알고리즘

        Recently, Ryu et al. proposed a multiple target DOA tracking algorithm, which has good features that it has no data association problem and simple structure. But its performance is seriously degraded in the low signal-to-noise ratio. In this paper, a measurement fusion method is presented based on ML(Maximum Likelihood), and the new DOA tracking algorithm is proposed by incorporating the presented fusion method into Ryu's algorithm. The proposed algorithm has a better tracking performance than that of Ryu's algorithm, and it sustains the good features of Ryu's algorithm.

        Zhou et al. proposed a target localization method utilizing the positions of target-detected sensors in distributed sensor network which consists of detection-only sensors. It dose not need to estimate the propagation model parameters of detection signal. Also it has the lower computational complexity and less data transmission between network nodes. However, it has large target localization error. In this paper, a target localization method, which is still keeping good features of Zhou"s method, is proposed for reducing the localization error.

        상엽 에탄올가용분획의 글루코스전달체, acetyl-CoA 카복시라제 및 렙틴 mRNA 발현에 미치는 영향

        Effects of Mori Folium Ethanol Soluble Fraction (MFESF) on mRNA expression of glucose transporters, acetyl-CoA carboxylase (ACC) and leptin were examined in db/db mice. 500 and 1000mg/kg dose for MFESF (designated by SY 500 and SY 1000, respectively) and 5mg/kg dose for acarbose were administered for 6 weeks. Quantitations of glucose transporters (GLUT-2 and GLUT-4), ACC and leptin mRNA were performed by RT-PCR and in vitro transcription with co-amplification of rat beta-actin gene as an internal standard. Muscular GLUT-4 mRNA expression in MFESF-treated groups were increased dose dependently. On the other hand, MFESF caused the GLLT-4 and leptin mRNA expressions in adipose tissue to decrease dose dependently, which means that triglyceride synthesis in adipocytes might be decreased and consequently signals adipocytes to inhibit the synthesis and release of leptin. Hepatic ACC mRNA expression in MFESF-treated groups was also decreased. and this may result in lowering of serum triiglyceride level. In contrast, liver GLUT-2 mRNA expressions in MFESF-treated and acarbose groups were increased. Higher rate of glucose uptake into hepatocytes is known to inhibit a phosphoenolpyruvate carboxykinase (PEPCK)-catalyzed reaction, which is a rate-limiting step in gluconeogenesis.
