직무만족은 개인생활에서는 신체적인 건강은 물론 정신적인 건강에도 좋은 영향을 끼치며, 조직에서는 생산성 향상과 직무성과에도 않은 영향을 끼친다. 따라서 이 연구는 우리나라 대학도서관에 근무하고 있는 사서의 직무만족 수준을 조사하여 도서관장이나 대학당국 더 나아가서는 정부당국이 대학도서관 사서에 대한 욕구를 이해하도록 하고, 직무만족 향상에 노력함으로써 그 성과로서 대학도서관 인사정책 수립과 대학도서관 발전에 도움이 되고자 함이다. Job satisfaction can affect not only physical and mental health in an individual's life but also productivity and job performance in an organizational setting. This study investigate the level of the academic librarians' job satisfaction in Korea. As the results of this investigation, the librarian or the university administrator and futhermore the government autorities must attempt to know of needs of academic librarians to improve of job satisfaction. Consequence of this study is conducive to the establishment of the academic librarians's personnel management and the advancement of academic library in Korea

최적화 로비 UI 제안 – 모바일 야구 매니저 게임을 중심으로 –

This study analyzes the lobby UI of the baseball manager game based on the mobile platform and proposes an optimized lobby UI. The UI layout-based detailed icons and button interactions in the four game lobbies are compared and analyzed by comparing and analyzing the common points and differences to finally calculate the optimized UI composition. Furthermore, based on the analysis, we intend to propose a lobby UI optimized for user-centered design. 본 연구는 모바일 플랫폼을 기반으로 한 야구 매니저 게임의 로비 UI를 분석하여 최적화 로비 UI를 제안한다. 4종의 게임 로비 내의 UI 레이아웃 기반 세부 아이콘, 버튼과 같은 상호작용 요소들의 위치를 공통점과 차이점을 비교 및 분석하여 최적화된 UI 구성을 최종 산출한다. 나아가 분석 내용을 바탕으로 사용자 중심 디자인에 맞춰 최적화된 로비 UI를 제안하고자 한다.

닉슨독트린과 주한미군 철수: 개입 축소와 영향력 유지의 딜레마에서의 철수 결정

As the core of the US-ROK alliance, the US Forces in Korea (USFK) has been playing various military and political roles. Contrary to the importance of its role, the number of forces has been consistently reduced. This study aims to explore the root cause of this seemingly contradictory phenomenon through the case of Nixon Administration’s troop withdrawal policy from South Korea, which was an important test case of the Nixon Doctrine’s core tenet, “reducing military engagement while maintaining political influence.” With this aim, the study presents several findings and arguments. First, the longevity of the USFK can be explained primarily in the context of the U.S. hegemonic stability. Second, the U.S. excessive military commitments to the defense of South Korea and concerns about ‘entrapment’ in the war were important factors in the continued reduction. Third, a certain amount of military presence was necessary since the various political roles of the USFK are essential to maintaining stability in the region. In sum, the continuation and reduction of the USFK can be understood in the context of the hegemonic stability of the U.S. global and regional strategy, which has been supported by a combination of the political and military role of the USFK in Northeast Asia. 이 논문은 닉슨 행정부의 주한미군 철수정책을 통해 주한미군의 지속성과 감축 추세의 본질적인 이유에 대해 탐색해보았다. 주요 주장은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 주둔의 지속성은 주로 미국의 패권전략과 동북아에서의 안정유지 전략의 맥락에서 설명될 수 있다. 둘째, 한국방위를 위해 과도한 규모의 지상군이 고착되어 있다는 인식과 분쟁에의 연루 우려가 지속적인 감축의 핵심 요인으로 작용하였다. 셋째, 동북아 지역에서의 주한미군의 안정자 역할을 위해 일정 규모의 지상군 주둔이 필요했다. 종합적으로 주한미군의 지속과 감축은 주한미군의 정치적, 군사적 역할이 뒷받침해온 미국의 패권전략의 맥락에서 이해할 수 있다.

University library must have a substantial collection development policy, by which the short and long term plannings are set up to meet the goals of university education and to support university function. Only when university library organizes collection building based on the well-planned policy, can it establish the systematic collection building, which can satisfy users, support continuity of work, use budget efficiently, and solve the space problem by with-drawing the materials. But most Koream university libraries, contrary to many foreign cases, don't have proper systematic collection development policy or guideline that controls overall library work from planning the collection of materials to evaluation and preserving them. Questionaire on whether university library has collection development policy or guideline was answered positively by only 6case out of 57 cases, which is just 10.5 percent. Even in cases that they have a guideline, the content of the copied guideline they sent was confined to acquisition, which is just a part of collection development. Collection development is a statement needed to set up long and short term plannings in consideration of the aims of the library and the needs of users and to shape and manage the library collection systematically. With the above conception and definition, we try to make a proper collection development policy and guideline for the Korean university libraries. Here we must define the object of the university. Object of university is to have good curriculum, good courses, research activities on the part of the faculty, enlargement of graduate school, and establishment of various institutes, etc. And in guideline, selector, method of selection, level of selection and arrangement of budget, etc. must be described concretely in its contents. Since collection development policy and guideline of Korean university libraries should concern their situation, we must confer with the result of the survey and analysis on the matter of collection determination. Here the contents include the priority of materials to be collected, method of collecting materials, arrangement of budget, and others. The purpose of this study is to develop a tenative collection development guideline in reference to the Jeonju University Library by means of analyzing the guiding principle, contents of the guideline, and present conditions of the Korean university libraries. The systematic collection development based on the Guideline for Collection Development of the Korean University Library, can offer a satifactory service to the users of the university community, and also contribute to the development of the university itself as well as the university library

베트남 파병과 주한미군 재조정 정책의 변화

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the relationship and interaction between the deployment of Republic of Korea Forces in Vietnam (ROKFV) and the United States Forces Korea (USFK) readjustment policy. At the beginning of his administration, President Park Chung-hee proposed to the U.S the dispatch of Korean troops to Vietnam as a breakthrough in achieving national development, but he had been gradually forced to respond to the even more urgent demand to block the withdrawal of U.S. troops from South Korea. The U.S. had continuously discussed the issue of readjustment of the USFK in the light of concerns about its “over-commitment” to defend South Korea, but the U.S. suspended the implementation of the anticipated USFK reduction plan when the ROK dispatched military forces to Vietnam. However, from the late Johnson administration through the early Nixon administration, in conjunction with its withdrawal from Vietnam, the U.S. began to review the readjustment plan of its forces in Southeast Asia including that of the USFK. In fact, one of two remaining U.S. army divisions was removed from South Korea. On one hand, South Korea attempted to maximize U.S. economic and military support, while blocking the withdrawal of U.S. troops. On the other hand, the U.S. blocked South Korea's intention to link the ROKFV with the USFK, while exerting pressure on South Korea for the maintenance of the ROK forces in Vietnam via with a possible additional withdrawal of U.S. troops in Korea. Although both South Korea and the U.S. recognized that the ROKFV and the USFK were closely related, but they found themselves in opposition to pursuing their strategic interests. South Korea regarded the USFK as a key indicator of security as well as economic and military support, and therefore tried to keep away from discussions on the withdrawal of the USFK, bargaining with the U.S. in return for the continued presence of the Korean troops in Vietnam. But the U.S. reduced the size of the USFK in accordance with its strategy in Southeast Asia, while taking advantage of the presence of the ROKFV. Since then, President Park had begun to pursue self-defense and institutionalization of military-security cooperation, while seeking greater autonomy in its alliance with the U.S.
