상대위상을 이용한 시각적 협응 패턴의 지각 역학과 격자무늬를 이용한 부가적 감각 정보에 따른 영향

본 연구의 목적은 상대적 위상을 이용한 시각적 협응 패턴의 지각이 조절변수의 변화에 따라 HKB 모델(Haken, Kelso, Bunz, 1985)의 예측에 따르는지 확인해 보는 것이었다. 또한 격자무늬 배경을 이용한 부가적인 시각 정보가 협응 패턴 분별의 정확성과 안정성을 향상시키는지 알아보았다. 피험자들은 일반 배경과 격자 배경 중 하나의 그룹에 속하여 패턴 지각 연습과 패턴 분별 시험을 하였다. 피험자들은 좌우로 이동하는 두 점 사이의 상대위상으로 정의된 0º, 18º, 36º, 54º, 72º, 90º, 108º, 126º, 144º, 162º, 180º 패턴을 관찰하였다. 패턴 지각 연습은 두 점의 진동 주기 0.25 ㎐에서 시행되었고, 패턴 분별 시험은 0.5 Hz, 1 ㎐, 2 ㎐에서 시행되었다. 패턴 분별 시험에서 얻은 분별 점수, 절대 분별 오차, 분별 안정성 자료를 통계적으로 분석하였다. 분별의 정확성과 안정성은 진동 주기가 느릴 때는 “뒤집어진 U” 모양을 띄다가 진동 주기가 빨라짐에 따라 180º 상대위상 패턴에 가까운 패턴들에서 정확성과 안정성이 감소하였다. 이러한 발견은 협응 패턴의 지각적 분별 역학이 HKB 모델을 따름을 나타낸다. 부가적 환경 정보인 격자무늬가 협응 패턴 분별의 정확성과 안정성에 도움은 되지 못하였다. The purpose of the present study was to examine if perception of visual coordination pattern is consistent with the prediction of the HKB model (Haken, Kelso, Bunz, 1985). In addition, this study aimed to see if an additional sensory information using a grid background stabilizes perception of coordination pattern. Participants joined one of two experimental groups, Normal background and Grid background, to participate the pattern recognition training session and the pattern judgment test session. Participants observed 0º, 18º, 36º, 54º, 72º, 90º, 108º, 126º, 144º, 162º, and 180º coordination patterns characterized by two oscillating dots. The dots oscillated in 0.25 ㎐ for the pattern recognition training and in 0.5 ㎐, 1 ㎐, and 2 ㎐ for the pattern judgment test. Judgment score, absolute judgment error, and judgment stability out of the pattern judgment test were analyzed statistically. The landscape of pattern accuracy and stability data was “inverted-U” shape with slower oscillating frequency conditions. In the faster condition, the accuracy and stability of the judgment decreased with relative phase patterns near 180º. These findings consistent with the prediction of the HKB model. The grid as additional sensory information did not increase accuracy and stability in coordination perception.

임상분야와 임상경력에 따른 임상추론의 인지적 방식에 관한 선행 연구

Purpose: This study examined whether there are differences in cognitive styles between orthopedic and neurological physical therapists, and whether these differences change with clinical experience in clinical reasoning. Methods: A survey study was conducted on 88 orthopedic and neurologic physical therapists working in South Korea. The survey items used by May and Dennis (1991) were translated, and only those items related to data-gathering and information-processing were used. Results: The cognitive style was similar in the orthopedic and neurologic physical therapists, but the clinical experience affected the cognitive styles of clinical reasoning. Physical therapists with more than 60 months clinical experience responded most positively to the preceptive and systematic styles in clinical reasoning. Conclusion: These results suggest that physical therapy education should provide physical therapy students with a clinical reasoning process related specifically to a particular clinical field.

코에 발생한 Cellular Neurothekeoma: 1예 보고

Neurothekeoma is a rare, benign, cutaneous tumor of unknown origin that can be classified into myxoid, cellular, and mixed types. The tumor presents as a solitary nodule mainly on the head, neck, and upper extremities of children and young adults with female preponderance. Histopathologically, epithelioid to spindled-shaped cells form lobules or micronodules and cytologic atypia are occasionally observed with variable fibrous and myxoid stroma. Neurothekeoma can mimic several benign and malignant tumors and recur if incompletely excised. Therefore, it is important to be aware of this tumor for accurate diagnosis. Herein, we report a case of nasal cellular neurothekeoma with a review of related literature.

Colchicine에 의한 교원질 유전자 발현의 조절

Recent clinical observations have suggested that colchicine, a microtuble disrupt agent. which is in frequent use in gout can affect the connective tissue metabolism in skin and other tissues This study examind the effect of colchicine on the expression of collagen. fibronectin and collagenase gene by skin fibroblast culture by Northern and dot-blot hybridization. The level of mRNA transcription of genomic DNA corresponding to typeⅠcollagen and fibronectin was reduced in colchicine - treated cultures but collagenase was not reduced. It means that colchicine reduced the expression of type 1 collagen and fibronectin in a dose-dependent manner. This results support that colchicine is one of the promising anti fibrogenic drugs currently being tested as a treatment of human fibrotic disease.

Early-Onset Generalized Pustular Psoriasis of Pregnancy Following Hydroxychloroquine Use

Generalized pustular psoriasis of pregnancy (GPPP), characterized by widespread sterile pustules and erythematous patches with systemic symptoms such as fever, is a rare form of pustular psoriasis. GPPP typically occurs in the third trimester of pregnancy and can be triggered by various factors such as infections, hypocalcemia, and drugs including N- butyl-scopolammonium bromide. We report a rare case of new-onset GPPP in a 33-year- old multigravida female at 17 weeks’ gestation, which occurred earlier than usual, after taking hydroxychloroquine for 3 weeks to treat systemic lupus erythematosus. She stopped her medications and was treated with systemic corticosteroid, but without improvement. Her medication was changed to systemic cyclosporine; her skin lesions improved, which completely resolved after delivery. This is the first case of GPPP developed following hy- droxychloroquine use for systemic lupus erythematosus, which occurred earlier than usual and completely resolved after delivery. This case demonstrates that hydroxychloroquine can induce GPPP before the third trimester of pregnancy.

한국인의 치과의원 내원요인 조사 연구

According to the increase of the number of dental clinics and the level of the patient's recognition about oral health care, the need for effective clinical management to provide proper oral health care service to the patients has arisen. Many patients has selected the dental clinics based on self estimation or other recommendation. Therefore the main reasons for selecting the dental clinic by the patients needed to analyze, So we conducted the survey which prepared questionnaire were provided to 700 subjects and collected data related to the factors for patients to select the dental clinics. The results were as follows : 1. In the view of access, the place easy of access and parking capacity was important to the degree of 43.0% and 30.8%, respectively. 2. In relation to the dentist, the quality of treatment and the trust was important to the degree of 80.7% and 71.3%, respectively. 3. Modern clinical facility was occupied 65.5% in the basic environment factors. 4. In the basic factors, kindness and cleanliness was 76.6% and 76.7%, respectively, and it showed that these factors were more important than the number of the clinicians and comfort of the waiting room. 5. In relation to the satisfaction of treatment, cheaper treatment cost, decreased waiting tine, the variety of treatment tine and various payment method were important to the degree of 51.8%, 48.4%, 42.8% and 39% in order.

COVID-19 백신 접종 후 발생한 백혈구파쇄혈관염 1례

As the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccination rate has recently risen, various cutaneous adverse events have been reported. We report on a 75-year-old woman who developed leukocytoclastic vasculitis after the first dose of BNT162b2 (Pfizer, United States of America) vaccine. The cause of leukocytoclastic vasculitis can be idiopathic or secondary to medications, infections, connective tissue disorders, and malignancy. Developing and exacerbation of leukocytoclastic vasculitis has been reported following vaccinations such as influenza, hepatitis B virus, and bacillus Calmette-Guerin vaccine. The pathogenesis might involve hyperactivation of the immune system secondary to cross-reactivity and molecular mimicry between the virus and self-antigens. As it is important to consider COVID-19 vaccine as a cause of leukocytoclastic vasculitis, we report a case of leukocytoclastic vasculitis following COVID-19 vaccination.
