The two-dimensional finite difference time domain algorithm is used to numerically reconstruct the electron density profile in O-mode ultrashort pulse reflectometry. A Gaussian pulse is employed as the source of a probing electromagnetic wave. The Gaussian pulse duration is chosen in such a manner as to have its frequency spectrum cover the whole range of the plasma frequency. By using a number of numerical band-pass filters, it is possible to compute the time delays of the frequency components of the reflected signal from the plasma. The electron density profile is reconstructed by substituting the time delays into the Abel integral equation. As a result of simulation, the reconstructed electron density profile agrees well with the assumed profile.

The method of moments is applied to numerically compute the electrostatic capacitance of a parallel-plate rectangular capacitor of finite area. Each plate is discretized into 900 patches per unit area to ensure a high accuracy of computation. To further enhance computational results, the impedance matrix elements are additionally evaluated in the case that the observation patch is located above or below the source patch in the vertical direction. To examine the fringing effect at the edges of the capacitor, the normalized capacitances are computed as a function of separation distance. After these results have been verified by Palmer’s formula, this method is extended to the computation of capacitances between two different size plates.
Study on the Chirped Waveform of the USPR Pulse using the Impulse Response of a Waveguide

In ultrashort-pulse reflectometry (USPR), a chirped waveform transformed from the USPR source impulse signal via waveguide makes it possible to employ millimeter-wave mixers for the frequency up-conversion process. Consequently, the frequency bandwidth of the USPR system is sufficiently wide to cover a large portion of the electron density profile of the plasma. Some physical aspects of the chirped waveform, such as maximum amplitude and length, are critical factors to determine the performance of the system. In this paper, the propagation of the USPR impulse signal through a rectangular waveguide is numerically studied to derive the chirped waveform using the impulse response of the waveguide. The results of numerical computation show that the chirped waveform significantly depends on the waveguide cutoff frequency as well as the waveguide length.
비행청소년의 대상관계가 자아존중감, 충동성, 자기통제력에 미치는 영향

본 연구에서는 비행 청소년의 대상 관계 요인 중 안정 애착과 사회적 능력이 자아존중감, 충동성, 자기통제력에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 실증적으로 검증하기 위해 OO도의 A시, B시의 비행 청소년을 대상으로, 2020년 3월 03일부터 3월 30일까지 180부 의 설문지를 배포하여, 불성실한 답변을 제외한 153부를 SPSS 22를 활용하여 기술통계분석을 하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 안정 애착은 자아존중감, 충동성, 자기통제력에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 사회적 능력은 자아존중 감과 자기통제력에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 충동성에 부(-)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 연구결과는 청소년비행은 청소년 개인뿐 아니라 그를 둘러싸 고 있는 환경인 부모와의 관계영향이 크다는 것을 바탕으로 안 정 애착과 사회적 능력 향상을 통한 재비행 감소의 방안이 필요 하다. 따라서 부모의 적극적 개입 방안과 비행 청소년의 관리방 안을 위한 사회복지상담의 실천적· 정책적 함의를 제안하였다. In this study, 180 questionnaires were distributed to juvenile delinquents in Odo from 03 March to 30 March 2020 to empirically verify how stability attachment and social ability affect self-esteem, impulsivity, and self-control among juvenile delinquents. The results of the study are as follows. First, stable attachment has been shown to have a positive effect on self-esteem, impulsiveness, and self-control. Second, social competence has been shown to have a positive effect on self-esteem and self-control, and a negative effect on impulsiveness. The research results show that juvenile delinquency has a large impact on not only youth individuals but also their parents, the environment surrounding them, and measures to reduce re-flying through stable attachment and improved social skills are needed. Therefore, practical and policy implications of social welfare counseling for active parental intervention and management of juvenile delinquents were proposed.
Cis-Diaminocyclohexane을 배위자로 하는 백금(Ⅱ)착체의 선택적 세포독성

The use of cisplatin is limited by severe side effects such as renal toxicity. Our platinum-base drug discovery is aimed at developing drugs capable of diminishing toxicity and improving antitumor activity. We synthesized new Pt (II) complex analogue [Pt (cis-DACH)(DPPP)]ㆍ2NO₂,(PC) containing cis- l,2-diaminocyclohexane as a carrier ligand and 1, 3-bis(diphenylphosphino) propane as a leaving group. Furthermore, nitrate was added to improved the solubility. In this study, its structure was determined and its antitumor activity against SKOV-3 and NIH-OVCAR-3 human ovarian adenocarcinoma, and in nitro cytotoxicity was determined against primary cultured rabbit kidney proximal tubular and renal cortical cells of human kidney using colorimetric MTT assay. PC demonstrated acceptable antitumor activity against SKOV-3 and NIH-0VCAR-3 human ovarian adenocarcinoma and significant activity as compared with that of cisplatin. The toxicity of PC was found quite less than that of cisplatin using MTT and ³H-thymidine uptake tests in rabbit proximal tubular cells and human kidney cortical cells. PC was used for human cortical tissue in 7 weeks hitoculture by the glucose-consumption tests. We determined that the new platinum drug has lower nephrotoxicity than cisplatin. Based on these results, this novel platinum (Ⅱ) complex compound (PC) represent a valuable lead in the development of a new anticancer chemotherapeutic agent capable of improving antitumor activity and low nephrotoxicity.
Numerical Study on Frequency Up-conversion in USPR using MATLAB

In this paper, the O-mode ultrashort-pulse reflectometry (USPR) millimeter-wave signals that propagate into the plasma and cover a frequency bandwidth of 33-158 GHz are examined numerically using MATLAB. Two important processes are involved in the computation: the propagation of the USPR impulse signal through a waveguide and the frequency up-conversion using millimeter-wave mixers. These mixers are limited to intermediate frequency signals that are less than 500 mV; thus, it is necessary to disperse the impulse signal into a chirped waveform using the waveguide. The stationary phase method is utilized to derive a closed-form formula for a chirped waveform under the assumption that the USPR impulse is Gaussian. In the process of frequency up-conversion, the chirped waveform is mixed with the mixer LO signal, and the lower frequency components of the RF signal are removed using high pass filters.
