영문자 및 기호를 인식할 수 있는 프로그램을 개발하였으며, 이 소프트웨어로 전처리 수행한 결과 속도의 한계성이 있었다. 이 속도의 한계를 극복하고자 신경회로망 알고리즘을 이용해 전처리 과정용 집적회로 칩을 설계하였다. 설계된 칩은 잡음제거, 선형화, 세선화 및 특징점 추출을 위한 것이다. 이 칩들은 단층 구조 퍼셉트론 신경회로 모델에 따라 CMOS 이중 금속 2um 설계 규칙에 의하 설계되었다. Enalish character recognition with the neural networl algorithm has been performed. Character recognition technition techniques which are processed by software, have the limit of the recognition speed. To overcome this limit, we realize this system to hardware by using the neural network algorithm. We have designed preprocessing chip using the neural nework model, that is single layer perceptorn, in the noise elimination, smoothing, thinning and feature point extraction. These chips are implemented as a CMOS double metal 2um design rule.
Two Components of Voltage Dependent Outward K+ Current in Isolated Human Atrial Myocytes

Background: The cardiac electrophysiological characteristics differ significantly among mammalian species oramong various disease processes. However, difficulties in the procedures for harvesting and isolating tissue haveprecluded studies using human cardiac specimens. Methods: The outward K+-currents were recorded in humanatrial myocytes isolated from patients undergoing open heart surgery. The electrophysiological characteristics ofthe voltage-dependent outward currents were investigated using a whole-cell patchclamp technique. Results:Using depolarizing step pulses, the transient outward currents were activated within 10 msec, which slowlyinactivated thereafter. After inactivation, the sustained components of the outward currents remained for up to 5.0seconds of depolarizing step pulses. While the inactivating component was almost completely inactivated atpotentials >+30 mV, the non-inactivating component showed only 10-15% inactivation. The non-inactivatingcomponent was highly sensitive to 4-AP and was inhibited by >80% at a concentration of 0.2 mM, while theinactivating component was inhibited by only 25%. The delayed rectifier potassium currents were not recorded.The ratios of the amplitudes of the inactivating and non-inactivating components varied. Conclusions: Twocomponents of the voltage dependent outward K+ currents in human cardiac tissue were identified, which couldbe separated according to their kinetic and pharmacologic properties. 본 논문에서는 6축의 경도센서에서 감지된 기울기 신호를 이용하여 균형을 제어하는 6축 플랫폼을 개발하였다. 개발한 시스템은 삼각형 형태의 6축 기구부외 PC에 기반한 GUI로 구성되어 있다. 개발한 6축플랫폼은 이동로봇, 의료보조로봇 및 중량이동 시스템 등에 활용이 가능하다. In this paper we developed a six degrees of freedom motion platform that control balance using tilt sensor for robot balanced control. Developed system consists of six degrees of freedom motion platform device part and Delphi based GUI program parI. Proposed system can be utilized for mobile robot, medical treatment assistance robot and weight transfer system.
