중간변속기는 4WD 또는 AWD 차량의 주변속기 후단에 위치해 엔진 동력을 앞, 뒤 차축으로 분배하고, 변속 기능을 갖는 보조 변속장치이다. 대형 트럭에 사용되는 중간변속기는 기어구동 방식을 사용해 중량이 크고, 윤활유 관리의 어려움이 있으나 동력전달이 좋은 장점이 있다. 야지 및 비포장 도로의 주행비율이 높은 군용 트럭은 열악하고 가혹도가 높은 환경에서 다양한 기능을 정확하게 발휘해야 하기 때문에 특수트럭용 중간변속기의 신뢰성 평가를 위한 시험법의 개발이 요구된다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 특수트럭용 중간변속기의 수명을 평가할 수 있는 시험모드의 개발과 종합성능 및 내환경 성능을 확인할 수 있는 시험법을 제시하고, 이를 바탕으로 중간변속기의 신뢰성을 평가하기 위한 연구를 수행하였다.

Purpose: The transfer cases for special trucks must have reliability criteria because military vehicles with high off-road and cross-country ratios must perform various missions accurately in harsh environments. In this paper, reliability criteria for special truck transfer cases are presented and the reliability of transfer cases is evaluated based on them. Methods: The performance, safety, and environmental evaluation criteria were prepared based on the field use conditions of the special trucks and accelerated life test method was designed using load conditions and life time of the transfer cases. Results: Several kinds of test equipments and evaluation criteria were designed and manufactured for reliability test of transfer cases. As a result of tests using them, it was verified that the transfer cases satisfied the evaluation criteria of the performance tests and the accelerated life test. Conclusion: The transfer cases are guaranteed the B10 life of 12,000km at a 90% confidence level because no failure was found in the product after accelerated life testing of two samples.

최근 무인 항공기는 관련 기술과 시장이 급속도로 커지고 있으며, 다양한 산업분야에서 활용이 가능한 산업분야로 각광받고 있다. 이런 무인 항공기의 시장이 커지는 만큼 관련 사고도 매년 급증하고 있다. 비록 일반인이 쉽게 접할 수 있다 하더라도 무인 항공기는 하늘을 비행하는 비행체 이므로 유인기에 준하는 시험평가를 통해 기본적인 성능뿐 아니라 운송 중 받는 진동과 비행중 받는 환경에 대한 평가 그리고 안전성을 포함한 수명시험이 반드시 수행되어져야 한다. 본 연구에서는 산업용으로 사용되는 무인 항공기의 기체에 대한 성능, 내환경성, 안전성 그리고 가속 수명 시험법 개발에 관한 내용을 제시하고자 한다.
Development of Life Test Equipment with Real Time Monitoring System for Butterfly Valves

Small valves including ball valves, gate valves and butterfly valves have been adopted in the fields of steam power generation, petrochemical industry, carriers, and oil tankers. Butterfly valves have normally been applied to fields where in narrow places installing the existing valves such as gate valves and ball valves have proven difficult due to the surrounding area and the heavier of these valves. Butterfly valves are used to control the mass flow of the piping system under low pressure by rotating the circular disk installed inside. The butterfly valve is benefitted by having simpler structure in which the flow is controlled by rotating the disc circular plate along the center axis, whereas the weight of the valve is light compared to the gate valve and ball valve above-mentioned, as there is no additional bracket supporting the valve body. The manufacturing company needs to acquire the performance and life test equipment, in the case of adopting the improving factors to detect leakage and damage on the seat of the valve disc. However, small companies, which are manufacturing the industrial valves, normally sell their products without the life test, which is the reliability test and environment test, because of financial and manpower problems. Furthermore, the failure mode analysis of the products failed in the field is likewise problematic as there is no system collecting the failure data on sites for analyzing the failures of valves. The analyzing and researching process is not arranged systematically because of the financial problem. Therefore this study firstly tried to obtain information about the failure data from the sites, analyzed the failure mode based on the field data collected from the customers, and then obtained field data using measuring equipment. Secondly, we designed and manufactured the performance and life test equipment which also have the real time monitoring system with the naked eye for the butterfly valves. The concept of this equipment can also be adopted by other valves, such as the ball valve, gate valve, and various others. It can be applied to variously sized valves, ranging from 25 mm to large sized valves exceeding 3000 mm. Finally, this study carries out the life test with square wave pressure, using performance and life test equipment. The performance found out that the failures from the real time monitoring system were good. The results of this study can be expanded to the other valves like ball valves, gate valves, and control valves to find out the failure mode using the real time monitoring system for durability and performance tests.
제조로봇용 하모닉 감속기의 보증수명 검증을 위한 가속수명시험 연구

산업 현장에서 사용되는 로봇을 구성하는 구성품 중에서 로봇의 신뢰도와 위치정밀도를 결정짓는데 중요한 역할을 하는 것이 감속기이다. 이처럼 로봇의 성능을 좌우하는 감속기는 소형, 경량이면서 고정밀의 특성을 갖는 하모닉 감속기가 주로 적용되고 있다. 하모닉 감속기는 금속의 탄성역학을 응용하여 동력을 전달하는 치차 감속의 독특한 매커니즘을 이용하므로 매우 정밀하면서도 큰 감속비 구현이 가능하지만 그만큼 제작이 어렵다. 본 연구에서는 최근 국내에서 개발된 하모닉 감속기에 대한 보증수명 검증을 위해 가속수명시험을 수행하였고 정격조건에서의 수명을 추정하였다. 단계별 사전 부하 시험을 통해 가속시험의 최고 부하수준을 결정했으며 교정가속수명시험 방법에 따라 가속시험조건을 설정하였다. 3 수준에서 수행된 하모닉 감속기의 가속수명시험 데이터를 이용하여 정격 사용조건에서 하모닉 감속기의 수명, 형상모수 및 가속지수 등을 추정하였다. Among the components that make up the robot used in the industrial field, the gear reducer plays an important role in determining the reliability and positioning accuracy of the robot. The reducer determines the performance of the robot in this way, and the harmonic reducer, which is small, lightweight, and has high-precision characteristics, is mainly applied. Harmonic reducer uses a unique mechanism of gear reduction that transmits power by applying the elastic mechanics of metal, so it is possible to realize very precise and large reduction ratio, but it is difficult to manufacture as much. In this study, an accelerated life test was performed to verify the guaranteed life of the recently developed harmonic reducer, and the life span under the rated condition was estimated. The maximum load level of the accelerated test was determined through the pre-step stress test, and the accelerated test conditions were set according to the calibration accelerated life test method. Life data at each of the three levels was secured through the acceleration life test of the harmonic reducer, and using this, the life of the harmonic reducer, shape parameter, and acceleration index were estimated under actual use conditions.
하이브리드 다이나모메터를 이용한 PTO 기어박스의 내구시험 연구

PTO gearbox for armored vehicle is different from general industrial gearbox. PTO gearbox for armored vehicle in the army may have many power take-off devices having various functions. It is necessary to build a durability test equipment that allows to control the power to each output shaft to assess these PTO gearbox. Durability evaluation of the PTO gear box is closely related to the reliability of the entire armored vehicle system, and the test bench should be tailored to have the function to control each output shafts individually.
