Objectives: The objective of this study is to identify toxicants causing acute toxicity in effluents from the aluminum rolling industry that violate the discharge limits in Korea. Methods: Whole effluent toxicity tests (WET) were conducted on effluent discharged from the aluminum rolling industry following the US EPA WET test methods. We collected effluent samples three times and evaluated acute toxicity by using Daphnia magna. We employed toxicity identification evaluation (TIE) procedures to identify toxicants causing toxicity in the effluent. Results: No specific chemical groups were identified in the seven different manipulations applied to the of wastewater effluent samples showing 1.3 toxic units (TU) according to the TIE phase I procedures. Water quality parameters for water hardness, electric conductivity and heavy metals (Mn) were 4,322 mg/l as $CaCO_3$, 11.39 mS/cm, and $5,551{\mu}g/l$, respectively. Considering water hardness and reference toxicity, high concentrations of Mn can be disqualified from the causative toxicants. Consequently, high ionic concentrations of $Na^+$(1,648 mg/l), $Ca^{2+}$(1,048 mg/l), $Mg^{2+}$(1,428 mg/l) and $SO_4{^{2-}}$(7,472 mg/l) were identified to be causative toxicants. Water hardness and electric conductivity exceed the $EC_{50}$ value obtained by biological toxicity tests using Daphnia magna. Conclusion: According to TIE procedures, high salt concentration is determined to be a major toxicant in the effluent of agro-industrial wastewater treatment plants receiving wastewater from the aluminum rolling industry.
코로나19 판데믹 이후 컨테이너선 운임 상승 요인분석: 텍스트 분석을 중심으로

In the era of the Covid19, container shipping rates are surging up. Many studies have attempted to investigate the factors affecting a surge in container shipping rates. However, there is limited literature using text mining techniques for analyzing the underlying causes of the surge. This study aims to identify the factors behind the unprecedented surge in shipping rates using network text analysis and LDA topic modeling. For the analysis, we collected the data and keywords from articles in Lloyd's List during past two years(2020-2021). The results of the text analysis showed that the current surge is mainly due to “US-China trade war”, “rising blanking sailings”, “port congestion”, “container shortage”, and “unexpected events such as the Suez canal blockage”.
ESG 경영시대의 공급망 관리 분야 과제: 텍스트 분석을 활용하여

In recent years, as there is growing concern with ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance), the strategic direction of business management is changing from maximizing shareholders wealth to maximizing stakeholders value. ESG is reshaping a corporation's supply chain management strategies. The purpose of this study is to explore the ESG challenges in supply chain management. As a result of network text analysis and topic modeling analysis on 3226 news articles, 'Suppliers', 'Sustainability', 'Shared Growth' 'Carbon Neutral', 'Safety and Health', 'Responsible Business Alliance', 'Supply Chain Due Diligence Law' were identified as the main issue. Since ESG initiatives in the supply chain are not limited to the efforts of individual firms, future research should focus on figuring out what difficulties and challenges exist in the diffusion of ESG practices along multi-tiered supply chains, and how to overcome them.
네트워크 텍스트 분석을 통한 외식경영 연구동향 분석: 최근 3개년(2012년도-2014년도) 논문을 중심으로

This study applied the network text analysis to reveal three clusters of foodservice management research that have emerged for recent three years. One cluster had strong ties with strategic dimensions such as customer and employee satisfaction, service quality, hotel industry. Second dimension consists of articles investigating new trends in the foodservice industry such as wine products, the Korean wave, healthy foods. The last dimension is associated with human resource management and organizational behavior contents. In order to conduct the network text analysis, we employed Krkwic, Krtitle, Netdraw, and Ucinet 6.0. 본 연구는 지난 3개년간의 ‘외식경영연구’에 게재된 논문들을 중심으로 네트워크 텍스트 분석을 시행하였다. 네트워크 텍스트 분석을 위해서 201개의 논문을 대상으로 국문 초록에서 핵심 빈출 주제어들을 확인하고, 주제어들 사이의 행렬을 구축하여 네트워크 맵을 작성하여 밀도, 연결성 등을 분석하였다. 분석 결과 지난 3년간의 ‘외식경영연구’지에 게재된 논문들은 크게 3가지 클러스터로 나눌 수 있다. 첫 째는 고객만족, 서비스 품질, 종사자, 호텔 등을 포함한 전략적 차원이다. 둘째는 한식, 웰빙, 와인, 커피 전문점 등 최신 경향을 반영한 트랜드 차원이다. 마지막 클러스터는 인적자원 관리, 조직행동과 관련한 각종 이슈들을 포함하는 심리적 차원이다. 본 연구는 기존 외식 관련 동향 연구들과는 달리 주제어들 간 의미론적 연관성을 분석하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

This study applied the network text analysis to reveal the scope and trends of low cost carrier studies. We analyzed low cost carrier research published in Korean journals and news articles. The results showed that there are three clusters in terms of research topics. First dimension consists of articles investigating growth in the low cost carrier industry. The second dimension is associated with service characteristics. The last dimension has strong ties organizational and human resource dimension. We run Krkwic, Krtitle, Netdraw, and Ucinet 6.0 to conduct the network text analysis. This study suggests the direction of low cost carrier research in the future.
