        직업교육연구 학회지 논문의 분석과 종합: 1998-2007년

        The purpose of this study was to review and synthesize papers published in the Journal of the Vocational Education Research(1998-2007). The 264 articles were collected from Journal of Vocational Education Research, which the Korean Society for the Study of Vocational Education had published from 1998 to 2007. The coding system for analysis included the aspects of vocational education research such as author, focused-institutes and populations, statistical techniques used, topics of vocational education, and key words. The data were analyzed using frequencies and percentages. The result of review were as follows. (1) In comparison with the research before 1998, literature-based review papers had decreased while survey research tended to increase sharply. (2) Vocational education research had expanded on more various focused-institutes and populations over the last 10 years. (3) In the survey research, more various and inferential statistical analysis techniques were used to analyze the data and to explore the new information. (4) Research subjects for academic and practical recognition of vocational education had emphasized. (5) In comparison with the research before 1998, the vocational education research during the last 10 years showed a little growth in both qualitative and quantitative research. Based on the results, several practical recommendations were made for the better research on vocational education, including making an effort to build vocational pedagogy as a discipline, using various research methods in doing research on vocational education, using various statistical methods to analyze the data and explore new information, studying diverse areas and themes on vocational education, and editing the Journal as a specialized research on vocational education. 이 연구의 목적은 한국직업교육학회가 창간호부터 1997년도 이전에 발행한 ‘직업교육연구’ 학회지 논문을 분석하고 종합한 선행연구(나승일, 1998)의 후속연구로, 1998년부터 2007년 사이에 발행된 직업교육연구 학회지에 게재된 논문들을 분석하고 종합하여 연구 동향을 파악하는데 있었다. 1998년에서 2007년 사이에 발행된 직업교육연구지에 게재된 논문은 총 264편이었다. 이러한 논문들은 연구진이 마련한 논문의 분석틀에 따라 발표자, 연구유형, 연구대상, 자료분석, 연구주제 영역, 주제어를 코딩하여 분석항목별로 해당 논문의 빈도와 백분율을 분석하였다. 이 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 논문의 연구유형이 1997년 이전과 비교하여 문헌연구는 감소한 반면 조사연구는 급증하는 경향이 있었다. 둘째, 최근 10년 동안 직업교육연구 대상의 폭이 확대되었다. 셋째, 조사연구 논문의 자료 분석은 다양한 정보 탐색에 적합한 추리통계 방법을 복합적으로 사용하는 경향이 많았다. 넷째, 직업교육의 학문적·실천적 재인식을 위한 연구주제가 강조되었다. 다섯째, 최근 10년 동안 직업교육연구 논문은 과거(1982-1997년)에 비해 연구의 양적·질적 성장이 이루어졌다. 이상의 연구결과를 토대로 직업교육학의 학문적 체계화를 위한 노력, 다양한 연구방법의 활용, 자료 분석 및 새로운 정보 탐색을 위한 다양한 통계방법의 활용, 직업교육 탐구주제 영역의 다양화 및 학문중심의 전문학회지로서의 직업교육연구 편집을 위한 개선점이 제안되었다.

        실업계 고등학생과 일반계 고등학생을 판별하는 변인

        The purpose of the study was to identify variables discriminating vocational high school students from academic high school students in Korea. Data for the study were from the data of the 2004 Korean Education and Employment Panel conducted by the Korea Research Institute for Vocational Education and Training. The panel data were collected from 2000 academic high school students, 2000 vocational high school students, and their classroom teachers on education and employment. The data were analyzed using the SPSS/PC+. The specific statistical technique used was discriminant analysis. An alpha level of .05 was established a priori for determining significant differences.Based on the results of this exploratory study, it was concluded that : (1) students who enrolled in academic high schools could be distinguished from those who enrolled in vocational high schools by a set discriminating variables except for gender, perception of school life, perception of school facilities, living with a guardian or not, and study-efficacy of the music, fine arts and physical ; (2) students who enrolled in academic high school could best be best described as educational aspiration, college entrance plan after graduation, study-interest in language arts, english and social studies; (3) students who enrolled in vocational high school could best be described as work experience and employment plan after graduation; (4) the discriminant function explained approximately 38% of the variance in the discriminant scores; and (5) the discriminant function correctly classified 79% of the cases.

        한국농업전문학교의 창업농 단기직업훈련과정 요구와 운영방안

        The purpose of this study was to assess the needs of the short-term training program for future venture farmers in Korea National Agricultural College (KNAC) and to develop operational strategies of the training program. The research methods used were the extensive review of literature, needs assessment, questionnaire survey, and face-to-face interviews, and consultations with a panel of experts in the study.The introduction of the short-term training programs for future venture farmers in KNAC was highly supported among the graduates and incumbent students. However, the faculty and staff members tended to reject the introduction of the short-term training programs but if it would not reduce the current regular program, they tended to accept it. Thus, this study suggested the overall operational strategies for the introduction of the short-term training program. The operational strategies included the targeted trainee, three basic program models, operational schedule by year, needed staff and facilities, budget, and the following road map including the pilot operating. The basic program models were developed based on their targeted trainee, kinds of the crops or livestock, program duration, and trainee benefits.

        유성생명과학고등학교 전문과정의 진단평가와 개편방안

        The purpose of this study was to evaluate 15 specialized courses and to suggest new directions of their reorganization in Yu-Seong Life Science High School. The specialized courses were defined as curriculum for specific job area. This study was conducted through extensive review of literature, survey of teacher, a headmaster and teacher conference, and SWOP analysis. These major findings of this study were as follows. 1) It was concluded that most specialized courses were successful to improve school image, increase both teacher's and student's satisfaction, and increase student recruitment. 2) Three areas of evaluation were organization, management, and outcome of the specialized courses. The management and outcome of specialized courses were excellent, but their organization was evaluated to leave much room for improvement in education objective, curriculum organization, teacher securement, student assignment, and class organization. 3) The specialized courses have some strengths; It's easy to obtain qualification, to enter a school of higher grade, and to enter a profession relate to major. The specialized courses have some weaknesses; lack of students' learning ability, a burden of experimental fee. The specialized courses have some opportunities; an enlargement of advance to own's field, an various opportunity to obtain qualification. The specialized courses have some problems; inferior home environment, uncertainty of advance to own's field. 4) Three ways to reorganize the specialized courses were to change curriculum of some specialized courses, to integrate similar courses into one, and to develop new specialized courses such as course of farm tourism, biology, social physical education.

        농어촌학교 우수교사 확보문제와 개선방안

        The purpose of this study was to suggest strategies to effectively secure teachers for rural schools. For the purpose, the researchers reviewed the current policies of Ministry of Education and Human Resources Development, the local government policies, educational statistics, and reports, which were related to rural school teachers.As a result, this study suggested following the strategies: ① to secure teachers in preservice stage; to endow scholarship and to be exempted from military service for preservice teachers to volunteer for serving in rural schools after graduating; ② to attract teachers; to reinforce welfare, to intensify the allowance system, to give benefit in advancement, and to arrange administrative assistants for rural teachers; ③ to provide support for teaching and learning of rural educators; to improve teachers' understanding and competencies on rural education and to support educational facilities and teaching materials for rural schools.

        우리나라 산업체 종사자에게 요구되는 기초직업능력 영역 설정

        The purpose of this study was to determine the key competencies required for the workforce in Korea. The key competencies were defined as the abilities that include the essential knowledge, skills, attitude, and experiences required for the workforce.This study was conducted through reviewing available literature, analysing content, and investigating validity with experts.This major findings of this study were as following: First, there were ten key competencies which were essentially required for the workforce in Korea. Those were communication, numeracy, problem solving, self-management and development, resource management, human relationship, information, technology, organizational skills, and work ethics. Second, each key competency consisted of 2-5 sub-competencies. Communication's sub-competencies were understanding a document, writing a document, listening, speaking, basic english skill. Numeracy's sub-competencies were basic operations, basic statistics, chart interpretation, chart preparation. Problem solving's sub-competencies were thinking, problem control. Self-management and development's sub-competencies were self recognition, self control, career development. Resource management's sub-competencies were time resource control, budget resource control, material resource control, human resource control. Human relationship's sub-competencies were teamwork, leadership, conflict control, negotiation, customer service. Information's sub-competencies were computer application, information processing. Technology's sub-competencies were understanding technology, technology selection, technology application. Organizational skills's sub-competencies were international sense, understanding system, understanding management, understanding business. Work ethics's sub-competencies were labor ethics, community ethics. Third, key competencies and sub-skills were defined suitable meanings for workforce.

        기초사무 IT분야 국가기술자격의 모듈화 방안

        이 연구는 IT기술의 변화와 업무수행에서의 IT 활용능력의 일반화에 따라 국가기술자격 중 기초사무에 분류되어 있는 IT관련 자격으로서 워드프로세서와 컴퓨터활용능력 자격과 관련하여 새로운 기초사무 관련 IT 능력모형을 도출하고, 이를 토대로 모듈식 자격으로 개편하는 방안을 모색하기 위해 이루어졌다. 연구결과 워드프로세서, 스프레드시트, 데이터베이스, 프레젠테이션, 웹활용, 컴퓨터일반 6개 능력에 대해 30개 하위능력, 67개 세부하위능력을 도출하였다. 또한 능력변화에 따른 자격개정과 수요자의 요구에 따른 자격취득이 용이하도록 모듈식 자격으로의 개편방안으로서 ① 기초사무 IT능력별 모듈자격화, ② 기초사무 IT 능력간 연계성을 고려한 모듈자격화, ③ 단일자격종목 내 능력별 시험과목 모듈화, ④ 능력별 모듈자격화 및 종합자격 신설 등 네 가지 방안을 구안하였으며, 각 방안별로 자격의 관리·운영, 직업자격으로서의 사회적 위상, 검정능력의 유연성 및 확장성을 고려하여 장·단점을 도출하였다. 한편 기초사무 IT분야 국가기술자격의 모듈화에 따른 자격명칭, 검정 과목 및 방법, 등급체계, 응시자격 등 자격운영을 위해 필요한 사항을 제언하였다. The purpose of this study was to develop The IT competency model related to wordprocessor qualification and computer practical ability qualification which are part of national technical qualifications and to search for a plan to modify into modular qualifications based on the IT ability model. It was concluded that there were six key abilities, which were word, spreadsheet, database, presentation, using the web, general computer, and developed 30 subabilities and 67 detailed subabilities according to the key abilities. It is also developed modular qualification plans and suggested each plans’ strengths and weaknesses The plans are ① modular qualifications which are based each IT abilities ② modular qualifications which are considered each IT abilities relation, ③ single qualification and modular examination subjects, ④ modular qualifications which are based each IT abilities and establish total qualification. Moreover, this study suggested qualification title, examination subjects and methods, grade, test requirements and conditions.
