UV-Vis와 ED-XRF를 이용한 자연 색상의 담수 흑 양식진주 분석

Analyses of UV-Vis spectrum and reflectance are useful tools to identify pearls of which color was naturally made or chemically changed. Contents of some trace elements of pearls by using ED-XRF may give us the information that the pearls were originated from marine shells or freshwater shells, and may give us whether the pearls were chemically treated or not. Three types of chemically untreated pearls, freshwater cultured, Akoya cultured and Tahitian cultured, were treated with silver nitrate. UV-Vis absorbance spectrum of Ag was changed after treatment, and reflectance of pearls was decreased. Absorbance of natural black colored Tahitian cultured pearls at 400, 500 and 700 nm was observed. Natural black colored freshwater cultured pearls showed two characteristic absorption patterns in UV-Vis spectra at 380-400, 480-500 nm. Unlike naturally black colored Tahitian cultured pearls, the absorption spectrum at 700 nm could not be found from black freshwater cultured pearls. Manganese was not detected in the pearls from marine shells, and strontium content of the pearls from marine cultured shells was higher than that from freshwater cultured shells. According to ED-XRF analysis, Ag contents of silver nitrate treated pearls increased as more time passed, because silver ion invaded to nacre layer of the pearls. Since Ag content of the black pearls known as untreated ranged under 0.1%, analysis of Ag content may used to distinguish the black pearls are treated or not in marketplace. 진주의 감별기법상 UV-Vis의 흡수 스펙트럼 분석과 반사율 분석은 흑진주의 색깔이 자연 그대로인지 아니면 처리에 의한 결과인지를 구별하는데 중요한 요소가 된다. 또한 ED-XRF을 이용한 미량 원소 분석은 진주가 해수산인지 담수산인지 여부와 은염 또는 염색 처리 유무를 판단하는데 이용될 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 은염 또는 염색 처리되지 않은 여러 종류(담수양식진주, 아코야양식진주, 타히티흑양식진주)의 진주에 은염처리를 한 결과, 은 이온 고유의 스펙트럼이 진주 고유의 스펙트럼에 영향을 주어 UV-Vis흡수 스펙트럼이 변화되었다. 또한 반사율도 은염처리하기 전보다 낮아짐을 알 수 있었다. 특히 자연 색상의 타히티흑양식진주의 경우 400 nm, 500nm, 700 nm의 고유 흡수 스펙트럼을 갖고 있었으며, 자연색상의 담수흑양식진주의 경우 380-400 nm, 480-500 nm 두 개의 특징적인 흡수 스펙트럼으로 나타났다. 자연 색상의 담수흑진주에서는 자연 색상의 타히티흑진주와는 달리 700nm의 흡수 스펙트럼이 관찰되지 않았다. 직접 은염처리한 진주 9 개를 ED-XRF를 이용하여 분석한 결과, 처리시간이 증가함에 따라 진주 층에 침투된 은의 함량이 점차로 증가했음을 알 수 있었다. 또한 시중에서 구입한 흑진주 18 개를 분석한 결과, 은 이온의 상대 함유량이 약 0.1%를 경계로 은염 또는 염색 처리 여부를 판단하는 데 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 생각되었다.

새로운 방법으로 성장된 무핵 전복반형진주의 구조적 특성

새로운 전복반형 진주 양식법으로 진주를 성장시킨 후 그 구조적 특징을 분석하였다. 본 양식법은 기존방법과는 달리 핵을 넣지 않고 패각의 특정 부위를 파괴시켜 전복 내장의 형상대로 진주층을 유도하는 방법으로 진주의 모양이 자연스럽고 독특한 광택을 나타내었다. 전계방사형 주사전자현미경으로 분석 결과 진주층은 약 $0.34{\mu}m$의 균일한 층이 패각 표면에 수직으로 배열됨으로써 패각 표면에 피라미드 상의 돌기가 규칙적으로 형성되어 전형적인 1매패(권패)의 전복진주 특성을 나타내었다. 이러한 특징은 최근 진주보석의 자연스런 형태를 추구하는 시대에 부합되어 고부가가치의 한국형 진주보석으로 성장할 수 있으리라 사료된다. Non-nucleus Abalone half pearls were cultured by a new technique and their structural characteristics were analyzed using an electron microscopy. This technique was found to grow the pearls depending on the shape of the internal organ of an abalone because this technique induces the pearl layers without adding any nucleus on the specified damage region of a shell. The obtained pearls exhibit natural shapes with a specific luster. The SEM analysis shows that the pearl layers are about $0.34{\mu}m$ with an uniform thickness and the surface of the shell is characterized by the pyramid-shaped bulge with a regular arrangement, which is a typical feature of single-shell. These characteristics of the pearls are thought to develop in the highly-valued Korean gems.

소비자가 개인의 의미를 새로운 소비의 가치로 인식함에 따라 참여는 사용자의 창작 가능성을 높여주는 새로운 커뮤니케이션 방법으로 소비형태의 변화를 가져왔다. 참여디자인은 이러한 소비 형태를 잘 반영한 디자인 방법으로 패션분야에서도 점차적으로 연구되고 있다. 이 연구는 사용자의 능동적 요구와 창작의 흐름을 지속적으로 반영함으로써 결과적 측면 뿐 만 아니라 과정적 측면에서도 만족을 얻을 수 있는 ‘지속적 참여’에 중점을 두고 패션디자인을 제안하는 데에 목적이 있다. 이 연구는 각종 문헌자료 분석을 통해 참여디자인의 정의, 발달 과정, 요소를 살펴본 뒤 패션디자인에 나타난 다양한 참여디자인 사례를 분석하였고 관련 제한점을 보완한 의상 디자인 제안을 시도한 것이다. 디자인은 디자인 컨셉 구축부터 모티브 선정, 디자인 개발, 총 3벌의 의상을 제작, 제시하였다. 패션에서 보여지는 참여디자인 사례를 참여시점, 창조성, 유연성, 용이성, 지속성 총 5가지 조건으로 나누어 분석하였다. 그 결과 참여 횟수의 제한과 참여 후 결과물이 유사하다는 한계점을 보여 이를 보완하여 실사용자의 적극적 표현의 지속적인 반영이 가능한 디자인을 제안하였다. 사용자의 참여를 유발하기에 적합한 도구라 생각된 스케치북을 디자인 모티브로 사용하기 위해 스케치북의 형태적, 기능적, 감성적 특징을 알아보고 사용자가 스케치북의 외형적 특징을 디자인에 접목하여 스케치북임을 쉽게 인식할 수 있는 디자인을 제안하였다. 본 연구는 참여디자인을 패션에 적용하여 지속적 참여를 유도하기 위해 스케치북을 모티브로 활용함으로써 그 목적을 달성할 수 있었고, 이는 향후 보다 객관적이고 실질적인 디자인을 도모하기 위해, 앞서 연구한 패션디자인의 참여 지속성에 대한 좀 더 구체적이고 실증적인 연구 활동이 필요하고, 지속적 참여가 보다 다양한 패션 분야에 적용될 수 있도록 관련 이론이 확립되어야 할 것이며 그에 따른 디자인 개선 및 발전 가능성과 적용 방법을 모색해야 할 것이다. As consumers regard personal significance as new value of consumption, participation has brought a change in consumption patterns as a new communication method that increases creative possibilities of user. Participatory design which reflects these consumption patterns has researched increasingly in the field of fashion. This study aims to suggest a method of fashion design focusing on sustainable participation which gets satisfaction to reflect needs and creativity of user in the process as well as the result. This study examines the definition, developing process, and other factors through the analysis of various literatures and data; analyzes the participatory design practices in fashion design; tries some costume designs corrected related limitations. The purpose of this is to suggest 3 costume designs that complement the limitations shown in the analysis. Participatory designs in the fashion are analyzed by Participate time, Creativity, Flexibility, Ease of use and Durability. As a result, it is shown that the number of participating and similar results after participation are limitations. To improve these limits, this study suggest the design which is possible to constantly create to user. The design motif-‘Sketchbook’ is suitable tool to cause the user’s participation because of its morphological, functional and emotional characteristics. By combining its formative features in design, Design can be easily recognized that sketchbook. This study can accomplish the purpose by using a sketchbook as a design motif to attract sustainable participation in fashion design and is expected to refer and use to develop user participatory design in fashion design.

앙리마티스의 컷아웃 꼴라쥬의 이미지 특성을 응용한 패션디자인

현대인들의 삶의 질적 수준이 높아지면서 다양한 예술, 디자인 분야에 대한 관심이 증대되고 있다. 한편 디지털 패러다임에 따라 통합, 통섭의 추세와 요구는 패션디자인이 인접 혹은 타 분야와의 만남을 가속화시키고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 디자인의 영감원으로서 마티스의 예술세계에 주목하여 마티스의 컷아웃 꼴라쥬 작품의 이미지 특성을 율동성, 평면성, 단순성, 중첩성, 장식성으로 분석하고 이를 선, 면, 색채의 조형 요소를 통해 디자인에 접목하여 패션의 예술적 표현영역을 확대하고자 한다. 본 연구는 마티스의 컷아웃 꼴라쥬를 표현하는 모티프를 범위로 하여 마티스의 예술세계 안에서의 형성배경을 살피고, 그 이미지 특성을 분석하였다. 또한 현대패션에 마티스의 컷아웃 꼴라쥬 작품이 응용된 기존 사례를 분석하고 그 결과를 참고로 본 연구의 디자인에 차별성을 주고자 하였다. 본 연구의 작품은 마티스의 컷아웃 꼴라쥬 작품의 이미지 특성을 표현하는데 적합하다고 판단된 네오플렌과 돈피의 활용으로, 모티프를 전개하여 도출한 다양한 형상조각들을 종이를 붙인 듯 단순한 스트레이트 스티치로 의상 표면에 부착 시켰다. 모티프의 장식적 효과를 위해 단순한 실루엣과 형태의 디자인에 모티프를 전개했다. 본 연구는 앙리 마티스의 컷아웃 꼴라쥬의 이미지 특성을 디자인에 표출시키고자 한 총 4벌의 작품을 제작, 제시하였다. 모티프를 패션디자인의 3차원 상에 응용, 재구성한 결과 감상자의 시각위치에 따라 의상의 환조성으로 인해 나타나는 다채로운 이미지가 연출됨을 알 수 있었고 역동적이며 율동감있는 컷아웃 꼴라쥬작품의 형상 이미지와 고채도의 강력한 색채대비 효과는 단순한 실루엣과 형태의 의상을 통해 그 장식적 면모가 잘 부각될 수 있었다. 본 연구는 회화가 패션디자인의 풍부한 영감원과 모티프가 됨을 재인식하는 계기가 되었다고 보며 향후, 마티스의 컷아웃 꼴라쥬 작품을 다각도로 해석하고 새로운 표현기법을 통해 개성 있는 패션디자인을 제안하는 후속연구를 기대한다. As quality level of life of modern people has raised, interest in various arts and design fields has expanded. On the other hand, along with digital paradigm, trend and demand on integration convergence are accelerating meeting between fashion design with adjoining or other areas. Here, this research paid attention to artistic world of MATISSE as the source of inspiration. This research aimed at expanding artistic expressive area of fashion by applying unique formativeness of line, face, and color at the same time as analyzing image characteristics of cut-out collage works of MATISSE with rhythmic aspect, flatness, simplicity, duality, and fanciness, and applying this to fashion design. This study examined similarity and differentiation of this research by analyzing formation background of MATISSE``s works and the example that cut-out collage works of MATISSE were applied to modern fashion and viewed change process of collage, the origin, in order to consider cut-out collage. This research works utilized neoprene and pork rind that were determined to be proper to express image characteristic of cut-out collage works of MATISSE. Also, attached various shape parts, derived by developing motif to the surface of costume with simple stitch just as attaching paper. For decorative effect, total 4 works were made and suggested by applying motif to a design of simple silhouette and shape. As the result of applying and reconstituting on three-dimentional image of fashion design,it was determined that varied images were created which appeared due to vollplastic of costume according to view location of appreciators carving and shape image of dynamic and rhythmical cut-out collage work and strong color contrast effect could be highlighted with its decorative aspect through simple silhouette and shape. The researcher considers that this research could be an opportunity to reconsider that painting could be abundant source of inspiration and motif of fashion design, also, expects follow-up studies that suggest characterful fashion design through variously interpreting cut-out collage works of MATISSE and new expresssive technique.
