        국가산림자원조사와 모델을 활용한 우리나라 산림지 온실가스 인벤토리 개선 방안

        Following the Paris Agreement, countries are required to report their efforts to mitigate greenhouse gas emissions. Particularly, reliable estimation of greenhouse gas sequestration by forest lands has gained significant attention. Nevertheless, comprehensive guidelines for the Tier 3 method, which is regarded as the most reliable method, remain ambiguous. This study analyzed the requirements for the Tier 3 method by reviewing IPCC guidelines and national inventory reports from developed countries such as the United States, Canada, and Sweden. Additionally, the study proposed methodologies for the Tier 3 inventory report tailored to the situation in South Korea by reviewing domestic modeling research studies and available data. The requirements for the Tier 3 method included seven criteria, including the combined use of measurement- and model-based inventories, temporal and spatial interpolation of measurement data, and model verification and validation. However, the degree to which these requirements were met varied among the United States, Canada, and Sweden. This study proposed that South Korea could report a Tier 3 forest land greenhouse gas inventory using national forest inventory data and domestic models. For the Tier 3 inventory, it is necessary to assess the uncertainty of national forest inventory data, perform spatial interpolation, adjust model parameters, and conduct model verification and validation. This study will facilitate discussions among relevant departments and experts involved in the forest land greenhouse gas inventory report. Moreover, the proposed methodologies in this study will adhere to the Tier 3 inventory requirements, using time and resources effectively and progressively advancing the reliability of greenhouse gas inventory reports.

        To provide a guideline and basic understanding of static and continuous zone drawing processes, two different mathematical models were proposed in terms of the processing conditions and material parameters. Although the models are rigorously derived and do not proved experimentally, they are still useful to analyzing the process and predicting the processibility.

        Diagnosis, Treatment, and Prevention of Cardiovascular Toxicity Related to Anti-Cancer Treatment in Clinical Practice: An Opinion Paper from the Working Group on Cardio-Oncology of the Korean Society of Echocardiography

        Cardiovascular (CV) toxicity associated with anti-cancer treatment is commonly encountered and raises critical problems that oftenresult in serious morbidity or mortality. Most cardiac toxicities are related to the cumulative dose of chemotherapy; however,the type of chemotherapy, concomitant agents, and/or conventional CV risk factors have been frequently implicated in CV toxicity. Approximately half of the patients exhibiting CV toxicity receive an anthracycline-based regimen. Therefore, serologic biomarkersor cardiac imagings are important during anti-cancer treatment for early detection and the decision of appropriate managementof cardiotoxicity. However, given the difficulty in determining a causal relationship, a multidisciplinary collaborativeapproach between cardiologists and oncologists is required. In this review, we summarize the CV toxicity and focus on the role ofcardiac imaging in management strategies for cardiotoxicity associated with anti-cancer treatment.

      • 학교폭력 예방을 위한 법제 연구 – 학교경찰 제도를 중심으로 -

        In March 2013, a high school student in KyeongBuk province committed suicide because of school violence. These circumstances have become issues as a serious social problems in Korea. Although our government and municipalities have established and implemented many measures to root out school violence, they could not have as many effects as expected. Accordingly, it is necessary for the government and all the people to have interests and seek for solutions in an effort to solve the problem. Recently, police started operating a few systems for direct and effective activities with police officers entering the school sites. It is urgent to prepare measures because school violence can be transferred to a greater national problem if school violence is left out as it were. Form the perspective of theses circumstances, the operation of a school police system can be appropriate in terms of time. Accordingly, the satisfactory effects can be possible if the involvement of public authority is enforced under the prudent and thorough planning above all when this system is operated. Considering these aspects, this essay mutually compared many school police systems appropriate in our country. This essay derives conclusions by mutually comparing the police officer system dedicated to schools which police station is operating police officers in charge of school violence with regard to the introduction model in a Korean way. With regard to these matters, this study is comparatively superior and a reasonable alternative as the introduction model of school police in a Korean way. Many advanced countries including USA, Germany, England have made assurance doubly sure to prevent school violence and prepare measures for proper school police system through constant development of relevant programs and active supports at the national level. Several studies have already suggested that school police can be usually used as a very effective tool at this moment. As demonstrated in foreign cases, it is the most critical to develop a unique school police system according to the local historical and cultural differences. Now, based on more careful and close examinations, both the Government and the society should try to find the best approach to introduction of school police into Korea

        러시아어 반수동(antipassive) 구문에 대한 소고(小考): ‐SJA 동사를 중심으로

        This research explores the characteristics of antipassive constructions in Russian. Antipassivization is a process of detransitivization of transitive verbs in Russian. From a typological perspective, Russian, being a NOM‐ACC language, has an antipassive form of ʺabsolute transitiveʺ, ʺobject‐suppressiveʺ, and ʺde‐objective,ʺ which all mainly represent the phenomenon that an accusative direct object is usually omitted in antipassive constructions. This paper applies two kinds of methodological approaches to the analysis on the Russian antipassives: Synecdochism, or metonymic expression, is used for ʺСобака кусает любого > собака кусается.ʺ Moreover, the features of affectedness & individuatedness, which are all closely related to transitivity: VerbTRANS + ObjectPATIENT/THEME. Antipassives in Russian represent the features of [+affected] and [-individuated] in comparison to the accusative object of transitive verbs. Postfix –SJA is employed to mark an antipassive morpheme, serving as a various marker of passive, anticausative, and middle voice. For this reason, the postfix – SJA is considered to be syncretic for many meanings. From a pragmatic point of view, the Russian antipassives are used for colloquial contexts rather than for literary ones. In the case of the definite, expectable contexts, antipassive constructions are usually utilized by substituting the postfix –SJA for a direct object‐nounACC.

        Atomic Layer Deposition of Ultrathin Metal-Oxide Films for Nano-Scale Device Applications

        With continuous dimensional scaling of high-performance transistors, high-k dielectrics are emerging as a very important research area in Si-based FET (field effect transistor) devices. Additionally, due to the uniquely high film quality, easy thickness controllability down to the nm range, and near perfect conformality, the ALD (atomic layer deposition) technique is also emerging as a future deposition technique for various applications. By combining these two promising areas, it is quite possible to open new application areas besides that of Si-based FETs which is under worldwide study. Recently developed Ge- and GaAs-based transistors with ALD high-k dielectrics have exhibited very promising electrical results, with surface passivation methods showing the possibility to further increase transistor performance. In addition, top-gated molecular devices, such as carbon nanotube and Ge nanowire transistors, were successfully developed with the help of ALD high-k dielectrics. Various other possible applications of ALD high-k dielectrics have also been suggested in this paper.
