The basic factor that affect wear performance is the wear characteristics, which come from sliding friction between rubber compound and road. Thus, this study focused on friction and wear of rubber. This paper briefly explain some characteristics of friction and wear referring to the papers on wear of rubber that scholars researched on. Research activities to predict the performance of the rubber wear is also explained.

A steam expander has been studied for its usability as a power conversion device in a Rankine cycle, which can be used for on site power generation or waste heat recovery. Design of swash plate type expander has been practiced and its performance has been estimated. With the steam pressure and temperature of 35bar and 300℃ at the expander inlet, respectively, it was calculated that the expander produced the shaft power output of about 5㎾ from steam energy of 35㎾. Adiabatic and mechanical efficiencies of the designed expander were 86.5% and 96.7%, respectively. With the volumetric efficiency of 90%, the total efficiency of the expander was 75.3%.

In this study, the concept of environmental-friendly architecture, where environment is importantly regarded as a design concept in modern architecture and the meaning of boundary are examined. To apply properly design methodologies along with the importance of environment, the concept of environmental-friendly architecture should be first correctly established. And as the recent rapid development of technologies provides new possibilities for environmentally-friendly architecture, it is needed to have a new boundary concept and the interpretation of the meaning of boundary differentiated from the one of existing architecture. Recently the meaning of boundary is expanding its range to the relations with its neighboring environment beyond the relations with in and out of a space and has also the role as a medium for exchange and communication instead of breaking-off. Therefore, the boundary of environmental-friendly architecture alongside physical boundary is extended to the area for communication. Here, a basic boundary of architecture is maintained, but its meaning and expressions get natural shapes. The study deals with the analysis of the concept of environmental-friendly architecture and its changes from the perspective of times, environment and social backgrounds and seeks its appropriateness centered on environmental-friendly architecture since 1980s when the issues of human and environment were raised in earnest.

17∼19세기 초 화인의 베트남 남부로 이주와 사이공의 형성

The Chinese societies in Southern East Asia are powerful economic groups, which maintain the credit-based economic relationships, as well as intimate groups which share their hometowns and dialects. The Chinese societies were established as the Chinese from southern province moved to Southern East Asia to find new jobs and create new opportunities, and consequentially have established their own groups based on their economic activities in the local areas outside of China. Many China towns founded in diverse places in Southern East Asia are the examples of their movements and their concentration. Among many of those, Sai Gon in Vietnam is the most representative example of the Chinese society. Sai Gon is originated from Cho Lon, a China town whereimmigrant Chinese built, and developed into a hub-city of economy in Vietnam. The Chinese people also built other China towns near Sai Gon in 17th - 19th centuries: Dong Nai, My Tho, and Ha Tien. By doing so, they made a large contribution to the expansion of Vietnamese territories in Southern part. This paper explores the sep up of China towns such as Bien Hoa, My Tho, Ha Tien, in addition to Sai Gon. Also, it investigates the movement of Chinese and the establishment of Sai Gon, and its political/economic implications as a result.

A steam Rankine cycle was considered to recover waste heat from the exhaust gas of an automobile. Conceptual design of a swash plate type expander was practiced to convert steam heat to shaft power. With the steam pressure and temperature of 35 bar and 300?C at the expander inlet, respectively, the expander was estimated to produce the shaft power output of about 1.93 kW from the exhaust gas waste heat of 20 kW. The expander output increased linearly accordingly to the amount of exhaust gas waste heat in the range of from 10-40 kW, and the Rankine cycle efficiency was more or less constant at about 9.6% regardless of the waste heat amount.

코로나19 시대 볼링장 내 서비스 품질 강화를 위한 중요도 만족도 분석 연구

The purpose of this study was to provide effective business information in the age of Covid-19 through IPA method on the bowling center. to achieve these goal, a total of 183 usable data were analyzed according to the following procedures. EFA, reliability analysis, descriptive statistics and IPA analysis. Based on this, the following results were obtained. Firstly. 1 quadrant included cleanliness, business hours, rain oil & dry condition, share SNS information, employee kindness, employee responsibility, cost of lesson. 2 quadrant included pin arrange system, parking facilities, cost of game. 3 quadrant included number of lanes, rain clearance, supplementary facilities, employee uniform, cost of shoes rental. Fourthly. 4 quadrant included employee expertise.
