        A Day-to-day Route Choice Model based on Drivers’ Past Experience

        The objective of this study is to develop a non UE (User Equilibrium)-based traffic assignment model which is able to be applied to a real size network. Over the last few decades, the UE principle has been used as a standard route choice principle. However, it also has received considerable criticism since it is difficult to fully describe the route choice behavior of real drivers. The real drivers select a route based on their cumulated experiences, and their perceived travel times are also not deterministic values, but probabilistic values which reflect the various uncertainties existing in the network. If a driver frequently uses a specific route, then the driver has better information on that route than other routes. As a result, a marginal superiority of other paths might not make the driver quit using the frequently selected path. Accordingly, a network traffic pattern is not so sensitive to the change of travel environment and drivers tend to select routes stably and habitually. In addition, the cumulated information in drivers’ minds and the travel experiences are also important to develop traffic operation and management schemes. However, a UE-based traffic assignment model cannot take into account the previous travel experiences and network uncertainties. Therefore, the route choice in the UEbased model might be over-sensitive to the change of travel environment in the network or occasionally forecasted incorrectly because of the absence of consideration for previous travel experiences and perception limit. In order to overcome these problems,the authors developed an agent-based traffic assignment model while making use of “reference point” theory in the field of psychology and “bounded rationality” used in decision making theory. In the developed model, travel time is modeled not as a deterministic value, but as the concept of probability density function in order to reflect the network uncertainties with which the real drivers face in the real world. In addition, the density function is linearly simplified in order to improve applicability to the real-size transportation network problems

        An Agent-based Simulation Model for Analyzing the Impact of Asymmetric Passenger Demand on Taxi Service

        In this study, a time-dependent agent-based taxi simulation model was developed. Modeling of taxi system is a complex task because it is dependent on the spatiotemporal pattern of passenger demand. However, the role of taxi as a public transport cannot be under-estimated in the urban area. Not only as a paratransit for the elder and disabled but also as a public transport for complementing the mass transit systems such as subways and arterial buses, a taxi conveys huge number of passengers every day. In this context, a practical modeling method for a taxi system was developed based on equilibrium philosophy and an agent-based simulation framework. In this study, the authors developed a simulation framework for the evaluation of taxi service for enhancing the quality of urban taxi transportation system. The developed model was tested with various passenger travel patterns,and a meaningful policy-related issue for improving the service performance of a taxi system was found for dealing with an asymmetric demand pattern.

        일 중소도시 결혼이주여성의 우울증 유병률과 관련 심리사회적요인

        Objectives : The purpose of this study was to investigate the prevalence of depression of immigrant women in Korea and to understand its correlated factors such as acculturative stress, social support, proficiency in Korean, depression,somatic symptom and pain. Methods : 119 immigrant women in Korea were assessed their depression, acculturative stress, social support, proficiency in Korean, somatic symptoms and pain by Acculturative Stress Scale, the Multi-dimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS), Beck Depression Inventory (BDI), Patient Health Questionnaire-15 (PHQ-15) and Visual Analog Scale (VAS) of pain. Results : The prevalence of depression of married immigrant women was 29%. The level of acculturative stress, social support and somatic symptom and degree of pain in depressive group were significantly higher than the non-depressive group. There were positive correlations between BDI and acculturative stress, somatic symptom and degree of pain. There was a negative correlation between BDI and social support. The level of acculturative stress has a negative correlation with proficiency in Korean. Conclusion : The depression has correlated with acculturative stress, less social support, somatic symptom,and pain. These results suggest that mental health programs might be needed for married immigrant women and the psychosocial factors could be considered for the treatment program.

      • 관광 목적의 수요대응형 교통수단으로써 부산 타바라 DRT의 성과 평가와 미래 전망

        코로나 19 종식선언과 함께 엔데믹 시대에 접어들면서, 관광산업에도 많은 변화가 나타났는데 특히 관광객의 여행 패턴이 변화하였다. 단체 관광객중심, 패키지형 관광 등의 형태를 보이던 것이 최근애는 FIT 개별여행객의 증가, 가족, 친지 등으로 구성된 소규모 목적지향형 관광 등으로 관광의 패러다임이 변화하였다. 또한 코로나 기간 해외여행 등의 제한으로 인해 국내여행지에 대한 관심이 증가하였으며, 정부에서도 내수관광활성화를 위해 600억을 투자하여 국내관광지를 활성화하기 위한 정책과 관광개발을 추진하고 있다. 한편 이와 같은 국내관광에 대한 관심증가와 투자, 관광의 패러다임변화로 인해 국내 도시 또는 국내 관광지를 목적지로 하는 관광객 수가 급격히 증가하고 있으며, 이에 따라 주요 관광도시들에 주차문제, 교통문제, 오버투어리즘 등의 문제점이 나타나고 있다. 특히 관광에서 이동에 대한 부분, 교통에 대한 부분은 필수불가분의 관계이며, 가장 중요한 요소 중 하나이기 때문에 지역관광의 활성화를 위한 지역 내 통문제를 해소하기 위한 방안 및 관련 연구가 필요한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 국내최초로 부산광역시 기장군에 도입되어 서비스중인 관광형 수요대응교통수단 타바라DRT버스를 대상으로, 2023년 9월부터 약 2개월간의 운영현황을 점검하고, 실제 관광객의 만족도를 분석하여, 지역관광활성화 수단 및 지역교통문제 해소를 위한 수단으로써 관광형 수요대응교통수단의 효과성을 활인하고 그 성과 평가 및 향후 전망을 도출하고자 한다

      • Vari-focal Light Field Camera for high-accuracy depth estimation

        Light field cameras that provide 3D information with only a single lens require high accuracy in a wide area to be used for performance. However, since the light field camera has a relatively short baseline compared to stereo vision, the accuracy decreases significantly as the distance of object increases. Herein, Light field camera which provide high accuracy for long range distance with vari-focal lens are presented. To maximize depth accuracy, the optimum measurement distance was classified for each of the four focal lengths. The disparity according to the distance was calculated at each focal length. When disparity exceeds the upper and lower limits according to distance, an appropriate focal length was applied to maximize depth accuracy. To demonstrate our light field camera model, the light field camera was implemented by using engineered microlens array and exquisitely designed housing. Also, depth estimation data were extracted from the prototype through image processing.

        유치원 메이커스페이스 기반 유아 메이커교육 프로그램이 유아의 창의성, 문제해결력, 과학과정기술에 미치는 영향

        본 연구에서는 유치원 메이커스페이스에 바탕을 둔 유아 메이커교육 프로그램이 유아의창의성과 문제해결력, 과학과정기술에 미치는 효과에 대하여 알아보고자 하였다. 연구대상은경기도 A시에 소재한 만 5세 유아 41명(실험집단 18명, 비교집단 23명)이다. 2020년 8월 24일부터 11월 20일까지 실험집단에서는 24회의 유치원 메이커스페이스 기반 유아 메이커교육 프로그램이 적용되었으며 비교집단에서 생활주제 중심의 관찰, 실험, 만들기 프로그램이 동일한횟수로 적용되었다. 효과를 검증하기 위하여 창의성, 문제해결력, 과학과정기술 검사를 사전, 사후로 실시하였으며 집단 간 차이를 검증하기 위하여 독립표본 t 검증을 실시하였다. 연구결과 실험집단의 창의성, 문제해결력에 유의미한 변화가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 유치원 메이커스페이스 기반 유아 메이커교육 프로그램의 교육적 가치가 있음을 시사한다.

        A Themotropic Behavior of Egg PC Liposome Containing the Very Long Chain Fatty Acyl Component,${\alpha},{\omega}$-13,16-Dimethyloctacosanedioate Dimethyl Ester(DME C30) Isolated from The Thermophilic Anaerobic Bacteria, Thermoanaerobacter ethanolicus

        Thermoanaerobacter ethanolicus is a strictly anaerobic and thermophilic bacterium whose optimum temperature ranges over $65-68^{\circ}C.$ T. ethanolicus was known to contain a bipolar very long chain fatty acyl component such as $\alpha$, $\omega-1316-dimethyloctacosanedioate$, as one of the major membrane components. However, exact physiological role of this unusual component in the membrane remains unknown. Such a very long chain fatty acyl component, $\alpha$, ${\omega}-1316-dimethyloctacosanedioate$, dimethyl ester (DME C30), was isolated, and purified from the membrane of T. ethanolicus. As a function of added concentrations of the $\alpha$, $\omega-1316-dimethyloctacosanedioate$, dimethyl ester (DME C30) or cholesterol into the standard liposomes, the acyl chain ordering effect was investigated by the steady-state anisotropy with 1,6-diphenyl-1,3,5-hexatriene (DPH) as a fluorescent probe. Acyl chain order parameter (S) of vesicles containing DME C30 is higher comparing with phosphatidylcholine (PC) only vesicles. This result was discussed thermodynamically with the aid of the simulated annealing molecular dynamics simulations. Through the investigation of all the possible conformational changes of DME C30 or cholesterol, we showed that DME C30 is very flexible and its conformation is variable depending on the temperature comparing with cholesterol, which is rigid and restricted at overall temperature. We propose that the conformational change of DME C30, not the configurational change, may be involved in the regulation of the membrane fluidity against the changes of external temperature.
