        Theories of fluorescence depolarization are briefly reviewed. Molecular motions, especially rotations, and intermolecular excited state transport work as main mechanisms in depolarization. Forster theory is summarized and general features of fluorescence depolarization are discussed. Several theoretical methods utilized for depolarization in solution and solid phases are introduced: classical hydrodynamics, Green's function, Molecular Dynamics and Monte Carlo method.

      • 도라지(Platycodon grandiflorum DC.)의 成分分析에 關한 硏究

        Bell flower root(Platycodon grandiflorum DC) collected from 8 different areas of Korea were analyzed for inorganic and proximate compositions including saponin content in the root. The results are summarized as follows. Analysis on the inorganic compositions of root showed the highest amout P and Ca, the lowest Mg and Fe with the exception K. There were wide variations in the inorganic compositions of root collected from different sites. The amount of proximate compositions were in the order of soluble nitrogen, starch, crude ash. Saponin content in the root was different due to the collected areas and the highest amount was showed in the ones collected from Daejun, Gurae and Sunchon. The most prevalent ginsenoside fraction was Rb_2 followed by Rg_1 and Rc.

        크로스토크 제거를 통한 입체 음향 구현에 관한 연구

        This thesis deals a method to deliver more realistic sound by cancelling the cross-talk which is inherent to the 5.1 channel speaker system. The acoustical model for cross-talk cancellation is the free field model. This model minimizes distortion of sound. I used the bark scale sound quality compensation which based on psycho-acoustic. For the surround channels, band-limited sound quality compensation is performed in the frequency domain. I also performed the sound quality assessment test on the traditional 2 channel stereo and 5.1 channel system. This test is performed in the test chamber which satisfies the ITU-R specifications. I uses the IACC(Inter-Aural Cross-Correlation) to determine the preferences of the amateur and the golden ear experts to asses the trans-aural filter. According to the result from the proposed method, I got more the 38dB separation rates with the Dolby standard speaker array. The results on the diffusion by the subjective test with the experts shows 0.4 point increased then before. 5.1채널 스피커 시스템을 이용하여 음향을 재현 시 나타나는 현상인 크로스토크를 제거하여 청취자에게 보다 입체적인 음을 재현하는 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 논문에서는 자유음장 모델에 기초하여 5.1채널 스피커 시스템의 보상함수를 해석, 이를 심리음향에 기초한 바크 스케일(bark scale) 등가 보상 밴드패스 필터에 적용하여 주파수 제한적인 음질 보상을 실시하였다. 정면 채널과 서라운드 채널의 음원을 제작하여 기존의 2채널 및 5.1 시스템에서 제시하는 음원과 비교하여 객관적인 음질평가 및 청취자를 대상으로 한 주관 평가를 실시하였다. 제안된 방법에 따라 측정한 결과에 따르면 ±30°의 정면 스피커를 배치한 돌비 표준 스피커 배치에서 38dB 이상의 분리도를 얻었으며 확산감에 대해 전문가를 대상으로 한 주관 평가는 5점 평가를 기준으로 0.4점이 향상되었다.

        에이즈 메모리얼 퀼트를 이용한 공공 행위 미술에 관하여

        From the 20th century, art materials and displays are represented with various methods. The concept of time and space disappears gradually and each artists experimental works have created the culture of new age. Among these things, the AIDS that has remained as a fatal disease for us based on 1980s has taken lots of peoples lives whom we love. This research has covered the social movement in the genre of fiber art that has started in the early 1980s to deliver the new message to not only the youth but also all of the people from the educational point of view. And it has emerged from the old demonstrational form that has occurred in the streets as the various means: consoling the people who are dying of AIDS removing the fear and the uncertainty for the fatal disease in our society, and expressing the disease prevention method and social problems with artistic works. And this research has done the study of display methodology that shows the threat of the fatal disease in our lives as the public art, and presents the educational point of view for the youth and adults. The works of Quilt play the role of connecting people with the dead with the strong power, and they are shown as the works of the most American style. And they were also used as the tools to raise the fund, deviating from the means of delivering message and displaying works in the large and public space. The works that have participated in these displays have the same meaning in everywhere of the earth. And through these works we can feel the traditional breath, fitting the traditional style using the cloth in the public space and the technique our ancestors have used into the modern society. These works are the conduct-artistic message in the public space that has made people feel the preciousness.

      • "Orange Juice통조림 중의 Sn의 溶出量"

        市販 Orange Juice통조림 80個의 Sn溶出量의 측정을 Polarograph法으로 行하였다. 그 結果 150ppm을 超過한 통조림도 있었다. 다른 조건하에서 준비된 見本을 주의깊게 使用함으로서 Sn의 溶出量을 測定을 하였다. Sn의 溶解中에 중요한 變化는 아래와 같은 變化物에 依해서만 惹起되는것은 아니다. (1)Vitamin C의 添加의 量 (2)통조림 充電時의 溫度條作 (3)製造後의 저장중의 變化 Sn의 농도가 150ppm 以下라면 Sn의 溶解되어 있는 量과 우리가 먹어서 배설하는 정도로서 人體에 害가 되는 뚜렷한 상호 關係는 아니다.

      • 철근콘크리트 실험체의 시스템 식별 결과를 이용한 유한요소모델수정

        This paper focused on the application of finite element model updating technique to evaluate the structural properties of the reinforced concrete specimen using the data collected from shaking table tests. The specimen was subjected to six El Centro(NS, 1942) ground motion histories with different Peak Ground Acceleration(PGA) ranging from 0.06g to 0.50g. For model updating, flexural stiffness values of structural members(walls and slabs) were chosen as the updating parameters so that the converged results have direct physical interpretations. Initial values for finite element model were determined from the member dimensions and material properties. Frequency response functions(i.e. transfer functions), natural frequencies and mode shapes were obtained using the acceleration measurement at each floor and given ground acceleration history. The weighting factors were used to account for the relative confidence in different types of inputs for updating(i.e. transfer function and natural frequencies). The constraints based on upper/lower bound of parameters and sensitivity-based constraints were implemented to the updating procedure in this study using standard bounded variable least-squares(BVLS) method. The veracity of the updated finite element model was investigated by comparing the predicted and measured responses. The results indicated that the updated model replicates the dynamic behavior of the specimens reasonably well. At each stage of shaking, severity of damage that results from cracking of the reinforced concrete member was quantified from the updated parameters(i.e. flexural stiffness values).
