        지형 경사를 고려한 다중빔 음향측심기(300 kHz) 후방산란 자료 처리에 관한 연구

        다중빔 음향 측심기의 후방산란 음압은 해저면 퇴적상뿐만 아니라 지형 경사로 인해 변화된 음파의 실제 입사각에 의해서도 강도가 달라지므로 후방산란 음압 분석에 앞서, 지형 경사를 고려한 정밀한 자료처리가 필요하다. 본 논문은 지형 경사에 따른 실제 입사각 및 입사면적에 대한 후방산란 자료처리 방법과 경사 지형에서의 후방산란 특징에 대해 기술하였다. 황해 동부의 사퇴분포 해역에 위치한 연구지역은 수심이 46~55 m의 범위를 보이며, 다양한 지형 경사를 가지는 대규모 dune들이 발달되어 있다. 대규모 dune들의 경사는 대부분 $1{\sim}3^{\circ}$ 내외로 완만하지만 등성이에서는 경사가 $5{\sim}15^{\circ}$로 가파른 특징을 보인다. 후방산란 자료처리 결과, 지형 경사를 고려하지 않은 경우에는 등성이에서 음압이 -34~-23 dB의 범위를 보인다. 반면, 본 연구 방법으로 지형 경사를 고려한 경우에는 같은 지역에서 음압이 -32~-25 dB 범위로써 음압 변동 폭이 완화되는 효과를 보였다. 또한, 후방산란 영상에서도 등성이에서 나타나는 강하고 약한 이상 음압 분포가 개선되어, 본 연구의 후방산란 자료처리 방법이 지형 경사로 인한 음압 변화를 효과적으로 보정하는 것으로 확인되었다. Multibeam backscatter strength is dependent not only on seafloor sediment facies but also on changed incidence angle due to the actual bottom slope. Therefore, the correction for actual bottom slope should be considered before the analysis of backscatter strength. This paper demonstrates the backscatter correction technique for the actual incidence angle and ensonified area. The target area is a part of the eastern Yellow Sea with water depths of 46~55 m. The area is located between the sand ridges and covered by large dunes with various bottom slopes. The dunes usually have the gentle slopes of about $1{\sim}3^{\circ}$, but show some steep slopes of $5{\sim}15^{\circ}$ on the crest. The backscatter strength values on the crest range from -34 to -23 dB, assuming that the bottom is flat. However, this study shows that the backscatter strength range was somewhat reduced (-32~-25 dB) after correction for actual bottom slope. In addition, the backscatter imagery was significantly improved; high and low backscatter strength values on the crest due to the actual bottom slope were normalized. The results demonstrate that the correction technique in this study is an effective tool for processing backscatter strength.

It is important to measure quality and quantity of pain for accurate diagnosis and establishing the treatment program and evaluating treatment outcome. Author review several measures of assessment of pain and suggest some elements for ideal form of korean pain scale.

        전신체열촬영(全身體熱撮影)에 의한 화병환자(火病患者)의 임상적(臨床的) 연구(硏究)

        First I chose a patient group and a comparative group composed of 23 members each. Then the body temperature differences in these groups was taken with D.I.T.I. The results are as follows. 1. Average body temperature of the Hwa-Byung patient group is $36.6^{\circ}C$ and that of the comparative group is $36.4^{\circ}C$. So there is no meaningful body temperature difference. 2. The hwa-Byung patient group has higher temperature than the comparative group by ${\triangle}T>1.0^{\circ}C$ at the following acupunture points in these body parts upper and lower, left and right, anterior and posterior, trunk and limb. Especially, the body temperature difference was clear in the CV-17 (jun-Joong) and the GV-4(Myung-moon). 3. When the body temperature was compared in the upper and lower part of the back, it had meaningful differences at the upper and lower acupunture points of the back in the Hwa-Byung patient group but not in the comparative group. 4. When the body temperature was compared in the left and right part of the body, its average difference was ${\triangle}T>1.0^{\circ}C$ in the two groups and the result were meaningless. 5. When body temperature was compared in the anterior and posterior part of the body, its average difference was ${\triangle}T>1.0^{\circ}C$ in the two groups and the result were meaningless. 6. When body temperature was compared in the trunk and limb part of the body, its difference in the patient group was meaningful compared with the non-patient group. From the above results, I think that D.I.T.I. could be used to objectively visualize heat sensation of the Hwa-Byung patients and make an objective concept of Han Yul in oriental medicine.

        우울증환자(憂鬱症患者)의 전신체열촬영(全身體熱撮影)에 의한 임상적(臨床的) 연구(硏究)

        Depression is a psychiatric syndrom consisting of dejected mood, psychomotor retardation, insomnia and weight loss, sometimes associated with irrational guilt feeling. And it is also similiar to Hwa-byung(火病) symptom in oriental medicine. But it is difficult to diagnose with objective method. Digital Infrared Thermographic Imaging(D.I.T.I.) is one of diagnotic method that measure the changes of skin temperature in body. Specially we checked the skin temperature on depressed patients by using D.I.T.I. and compared with Bell's palsy patients and normal persons group. The results are as follows; Average body temperature of the depressed patient group is $36.68{\pm}0.43^{\circ}C.$ and that of the control group is $36.73{\pm}0.40^{\circ}C.$. So there is no meaningful difference. The depressed patient group has higher temperature than the control group by ${\triangle}T>1.0^{\circ}C$ at the following acupuncture points in these body parts - upper and lower, left and right, anterior and posterior. When acupuncture points temperature was compared superior and inferior part of the body, depressed patient group have meaningful difference at the GV-4(Myung-moon) and also in the control group. When acupuncture points temperature was compared left and right part of the body, depressed patient group have no meaningful difference and also in the control group. When acupuncture points temperature was compared in the anterior and posterior part of the body, depressed patient group have meaningful difference at the GV-4(Myung- moon) and also in the control group. From this study, we think that D.I.T.I. could be used to diagnose objectively on the depressed patients and useful to another psychoneurogenic diagnosis in oriental medicine.

        본 고에서는 디지틀 신호 처리기의 효율적 설계를 위해 필수적으로 요구되는 고수준 논리 합성 문제를 다룬다. Behavioral representation으로부터 structural representation으로의 변환은 복잡도의 문제로 인해 제한적으로 연구되어 온 분야로서 최근 VHDL의 표준화에 따라 많은 연구가 요구되고 있다. 본 고에서는 기존의 제안된 방법을 중심으로 VHDL과의 관계 그리고 앞으로의 전망 등에 대해 논한다.

        고체상 나노구멍을 이용한 DNA 염기서열 분석기술

        Nanopore DNA sequencing is an emerging and promising technique that can potentially realize the goal of a low-cost and high-throughput method for analyzing human genome. Especially, solid-state nanopores have relatively high mechanical stability, simple surface modification, and facile fabrication process without the need for labeling or amplification of PCR (polymerized chain reaction) in DNA sequencing. For these advantages of solid-sate nanopores, the use of solid-state nanopores has been extensively considered for developing a next generation DNA sequencing technology. Solid-state nanopore sequencing technique can determine and count charged molecules such as single-stranded DNA, double-stranded DNA, or RNA when they are driven to pass through a membrane nanopore between two electrolytes of cis-trans chambers with applied bias voltage by measuring the ionic current which varies due to the existence of the charged particles in the nanopore. Recently, many researchers have suggested that nanopore-based sensors can be competitive with other third-generation DNA sequencing technologies, and may be able to rapidly and reliably sequence the human genome for under $1,000.
