        반대편 뇌졸중 후 속섬유막 경색으로 발생한 동측 편마비 1예

        A 63-year-old man was admitted with newly developed left hemiparesis. He had experienced left hemiparesis that had resulted from an earlier right thalamic hemorrhage. Diffusion-weighted images showed only high signal intensity lesion in the left internal capsule. Ipsilateral motor evoked potentials were obtained at the affected hand muscles when the unaffected motor cortex was stimulated. This suggests that cortical reorganization in the unaffected hemisphere after the first stroke may be involved in the occurrence of such symptom.

        거리의존 해양환경에서 수동소나체계의 표적탐지거리예측

        The prediction of detection range of a passive sonar system is essential to estimate the performance and to optimize the operation of a developed sonar system. In this paper, a model for the prediction of detection range in a range-dependent ocean environment based on the sonar equation is developed and tested. The prediction model calculates the transmission loss using PE propagation model, signal excess, and the detection probability at each target depth and range. The detection probability is integrated to give the estimated detection range. In order to validate the developed model, two cases are considered. One is the case when target depth is known. The other is the case when the target depth is unknown. The computational results agree well with the previously published results for the range-independent environment. Also,the developed model is applied to the range-dependent ocean environment where the warm eddy exists. The computational results are shown and discussed. The developed model can be used to find the optimal frequency of detection, as well as the optimal search depth for the given range-dependent ocean environment. 원거리에서 수동소나에 의한 탐지거리를 예측하기 위해서는 소나방정식이 이용된다. 본 연구에서는 거리와 깊이함수의 신호이득 및 탐지확률을 구한 후 이를 거리로 적분하여 거리의존 해양환경에서 탐지거리를 계산하는 탐지거리 예측모델을 개발하였다. 개발된 모델은 기존에 발표된 거리독립 해양환경에서의 결과와 비교하여 검증하였고, 이를 바탕으로 거리의존 해양환경에서 수동소나에 의한 표적탐지에 큰 영향을 주는 난수성 소용돌이 해양환경에 확장 적용하여 표적의 탐지거리를 예측하였으며, 그 결과에 대하여 소개한다.

        로터리 압축기 회전체-베어링계의 동적 거동해석

        Large dynamic loads act on the rotor in rotary compressors. There are unbalance forces due to eccentric rotation parts and gas forces induced by the pressure difference between compression and suction gases. Rotor-journal bearing system is nonlinear since the stiffness and damping coef-ficients of the lubrication oil film are not constant in the bearings. in this paper the program for predicting the behaviors of rotor-journal bearing system of rotary compressor is developed. Finite element modeling is used to analyze the flexible rotor. The numerical results are compared with experimental results.

        전두측두치매 환자에서의 신경심리 검사 및 Tc-99m ECD SPECT를 통해 분석한 뇌실 비대칭성의 의의

        Background: Frontotemporal dementia (FTD) has a characteristic pattern of lobar atrophy in frontal and/or temporal lobes. Asymmetry in the lateral ventricle size on brain magnetic resonance image (MRI) in FTD patients may have clinical significance. This study compares the ventricular asymmetry seen on MRI with that of the neuropsychological difference and asymmetric hypoperfusion using statistical parametric mapping (SPM) analysis of brain SPECT in patients with FTD. Methods: Thirteen FTD patients who underwent Brain MRI, TC-99m ECD SPECT and neuropsychological testing and who had the ventricular asymmetry on brain MRI were retrospectively selected. The patients were divided into two groups (5 right dominant group, 8 left dominant group) according to the ventricular asymmetry on brain MRI. We compared the regional blood flow pattern on TC-99m ECD SPECT images using SPM analysis and the results of neuropsychological tests between the two groups. Results: In the right dominant group, a significant perfusion deficit was identified at the bilateral frontal regions. In the left dominant group, significant hypoperfusion was found at the left frontotemporal regions (uncorrected p<0.001). There was no significant difference of neuropsychological testing in between the two groups. However, the score on the Neuropsychiatric Inventory (NPI) in the right dominant group was higher than that of the left dominant group (p=0.043). Conclusions: Hemispheric asymmetry on brain MRI was common in patients with FTD and was related with a characteristic pattern of hypoperfusion on brain SPECT images and neuropsychiatric symptoms.         Department of Neurology, Department of Ophthalmology* College of medicine, Chonnam National University. Amaurosis fugax (transient monocular blindness) is a sudden monocular visual loss due to transient hypoperfusion of the eye, usually due to embolism from atherosclerotic carotid arteries. Stenosis of the ophthalmic artery causing amaurosis fugax has been rarely reported. A 65-year-old man was referred to our hospital with several episodes of transient monocular blindness in the right eye. Cerebral angiogram revealed a significant ophthalmic artery stenosis with the intact carotid artery. This case suggests that amaurosis fugax can be caused by ophthalmicartery stenosis.

        건설기술정보시스템은 방대한 양의 자료를 데이터베이스화하여 다양한 정보를 제공하고 있다. 하지만, 본 시스템에서 제공되는 다양한 정보들은 단순한 데이터 열람수준에만 그치고 있어 대용량의 데이터가 효과적으로 관리 및 활용되고 있지 못하는 한계점이 발견되어 정보의 단순한 제공을 벗어나 대용량 정보를 의미적으로 관리하고 사용자 요구와 관련성이 높은 정보를 제공할 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 현재 건설기술정보시스템에서 운영되고 있는 키워드 기반 검색 서비스를 개선하기 위하여 지능형 문서 분석 및 건설 분야 온톨로지 정보를 바탕으로 정보검색의 성능 및 효과를 향상시킬 수 있는 방안을 제안하였다.
