      • 미호천 수계의 수질환경기준 적정성 평가

        In Miho stream subbasin, there were many places that did not meet the river water quality standard due to the pollution sources such as increase of population, industries and livestock. Thus the rate of achievement for the river water quality standard in upper sites of Miho stream is very low. The purpose of this study was to evaluate of propriety for the river water quality standard matched to each the standard water quality monitoring site in Miho stream. QUAL2E model was used to simulate the BOD concentration at each monitoring site. This study was shown that the river water quality standards should be reset. In case of Miho stream 1∼4, the water quality standards should be second grade from the first grade. However Miho stream 5 and Miho stream 6 should be strengthened from fourth to third grade.

      • 사람 혈액상 암 세포주들에 대한 항암제의 감수성 검사에 관한 연구

        The present study aimed to guide an experimental approach to the therapeutic improvement of cancer patient by the chemosensitivity test of five antitumor drugs on the three different human tumor cell lines. The rates of tumor cell survivals were measured by ^3H thymidine uptake assay after treatment of different concentrations of antitumor durgs such as vinblastin, vincristin, aclasinon, 5 fluorouracil and methotrexate. Human tumor cell lines used in this study are K562 derived from human chronic myelogenous leukemia, Raji from human Burkitt lymphoma and Molt-4 from human peripheral blood acute lymphoblastic leukemia The result obtainded from this study are as follow. 1. The growth rate of cancer cells investigated in this study revealed K562 grew fastest having 29 hours of doubling time, then Molt-4 and Raji grew slowest. 2. The natural products, vinblastin, vincristin which have the similar mechanism of anticancer action showed similar cancer cell killing effect, that is 47% of cell death were brought. when 0.02㎍/㎖ concentration of those drugs used, and 94.97% at 2㎍/㎖ on the cancer cells Molt-4 and Raji. The antitumor effect of vinblastin and vincristin used was less effective to the K562 showing 59-61% cell death at 0.02㎍/㎖ concentration and 63% at 2㎍/㎖ concentration. 3. Methotrexate was most effective to Molt-4 exhibiting 97% of tumor cell death while it showed 67% of tumor cell death to Raji and K562 at 0.02㎍/㎖ concentration. 4. 5 fluorourcil was most resistant to all three tumor cells used showing almost no effect in low concentrations from 0.02-2.0㎍/㎖ but only considerable antitumor effect was observed at high concentration(20㎍/㎖) on Molt-4 and Raji. 5. Among five chemotherapeutic agents used, aclacinon, an antitumor antibiotics exhibited most effective anticancer action bringing 93% tumor cell death on Molt-4 and Raji, and 77% on K562 at 0.2㎍/㎖ concentration. 6. Among three tumor cell lines used, K562 was most resistant to all the antitumor drugs while Molt-4 reacted most effectively.

      • 하천 수리계수 변화가 수질에 미치는 영향 연구

        The effect of hydrological coefficients on the water quality was analyzed by using HEC-RAS with the increase rate of stream width at Jeongeub stream such as 5%, 10%, 20% of width increase. The hydrological inputs in QUAL2E were modified and applied after the calibration and validation. With the consideration of increase of stream width in QUAL2E, BOD concentration was dropped and TN increased, but there was slight decrease of TP concentration. The simulation of water pollutants were sensitive to the settling rate and benthos source rate which were proportional to river bed area.

      • 금강 상류수계의 수질-유량관계식 개발

        The statistical model was developed for estimation of water qualities in the Cho-gang stream. The equations for the relationship between the water quality and the flow in the stream could be estimated by the regression analysis. Water quality was a function of one independent variable(flow) in the simple regression model. The water qualities included BOD and TP measured from 2002 to 2005 in the Cho-gang stream. As the results of analyzing observed data and simulated data extracted by regression model, the study analyzed that RMSE of BOD was 0.33 mg/L and RMSE of TP was 0.03 mg/L. For the accuracy improvement of regression model, it is necessary to develop the multiple regression model with the various watershed parameters.

      • 용담호 유역의 오염물질 유달율 산정

        The purpose of this study was to calculate the delivery ratio of pollutant in the Yongdam reservoir basin using SWAT model. Delivery ratio is defined as a ratio of effluent pollutant loads divided by delivery discharge loads and influenced by characteristics of watershed such as slope, length, density of stream, hydrology, location of pollution sources. Accordingly, this study was performed using SWAT model which is available to simulate delivery discharge loads with reflecting geographical and hydorological characteristics and spatial distribution characteristics. As a result, in 2002, annual average BOD delivery ratios were 0.23∼0.65 in the dry season. During the rainy season, delivery ratios were 0.85∼1.52 due to the influence of nonpoint sources.

      • 하수처리장 위치가 목표수질 달성에 미치는 영향 평가

        The achievement of water quality goal in the stream was evaluated by the location of the sewage treatment plant. The study area was the Bocheong stream as the 1st tributary of Keum river and the water quality was simulated by QUALKO model. Scenarios were assumed to be located in 3 places, upstream, midstream and downstream at Bocheong stream. Water quality goal would be applied to two goals as Korea TMDLs and mid-watershed. The simulated water quality at downstream location of sewage treatment plant was exceeded the water quality goal of mid-watershed. In order to decide the location of sewage treatment plant, the local government would consider the modeling with several requirements such as location, self-purification capacity, and the site of water quality goal.

      • 전산모형을 이용한 비점오염물질 유입량 산정

        Although most of artificial reservoirs in Korea are located at upstream and have little point sources, the water quality in these reservoirs has been degraded gradually. The main reason of the degraded water resulted in the pollutant loads from nonpoint sources. In this study, AnnAGNPS model was applied to simulate the total nitrogen and total phosphorus input loading from nonpoint sources in Daecheong reservoir basin. The Daecheong reservoir basin would be divided by 7 sub-basins for the simulation. As a result of simulation, the total nitrogen and total phosphorus input loading are 2,313.2 ton/yr, 222.5 ton/yr in 2002 and 2,450.9 ton/yr, 244.1 ton/yr in 2003, respectively.

      • GIS를 이용한 관광자원관리시스템 구축 및 활용에 관한 연구

        Recently tourism is put on the important role in central and local government affairs. But there is no effective Tourism Resources Management System in existing tourism. At this point of view, the first priority must be put to make inventory system(DBMS) of tourism resources and the next thing is how to handle this Inventory system for satisfying tourists and managers who work in the field of tourism The most significant problem of existing tourism system is not to have proper interrelationship of location data and its resources data of tourism, so the tourists are not easy to make their sense for planning tour program. Needless to say, it is more serious problem to managers. This study was focused on the application of GIS(Geographic Information System) for establishment for efficient Tourism Resources Management System. GIS application showed good performance in handling inventory data for decision making. All the data used for the GIS application was divided into location and non-spatial data. Using location data. it was easy to find the exact location for tour on the monitor and on the maps generated by the computer, even in the actual managed site, along with various attribute data. It was easy to store, manage and update the data and to keep the data which could be washed away by the time. By manipulating the menu driving system, it was also very easy to access the Tourism Information System for users including new managers as well as tourists.

      • 21세기의 환경문제와 보전대책

        The earth as the living stage of mankind has a purification ability and recovery elasticity to destruction and pollution through human production activities, so has maintained extremery friendly and cooperative relations between man and nature. However, the rapid development of recent technology has made our life convenient and abundant, brought about gradual exhaustion of natural resources existing on the earth, and use of excessive environment and its damage, accumulation of radiated pollutants have come to the state of threatening the existence of mankind and ecology. Wide recognition on artificial and natural environment issues in the perception and settlement of environment problems is recognized. Mankind should build up a society continuously hand dowel civilization in the earth ecology with finite resources. Now our country must set up a right view of environment for human existence and welfare and scientifically design those measures. And we have a capability to rightly understand the cause of our environmental crisis and make effort for the settlement of that. If any change of consciousness on nature along with this actual effort is made, we can have confidence in that the 21st century environment problems could be got over.
