As public facilities, public parking buildings are built with tremendous resource investments socio-nationally, and its outcomes affect general public's interests, much more near environments. Public parking building projects have been implemented focusing on how its initial costs could be economical. With literature reviews and expert interviews, elements affecting the construction type of public parking buildings were selected. The comprehensive constructability evaluation process which could be practical in the field is proposed through the classification of evaluation criteria influencing t#e constructability of public parking buildings and sequential evaluation process which modified the analytic hierarchical process. AHP was used as a basis of comprehensive constructability evaluation system, and vector nomalization and linear transformation in multi-criteria decision making technique were applied to each evaluation attributes to select the optimal alternative of public parking buildings.
인간 시각 특성을 고려한 오차 확산 커널의 동적 결정 방법

Conversion of the gray level image into the binary equivalent is called as digital halftoning. Error diffusion has been one of the most popular digital halftoning techniques. The quality of binary image obtained by the error diffusion technique is majorly determined by the error diffusion kernel, locations of neighbors for the error propagation, and quantization process. This paper presents an error diffusion method to dynamically calculate the kernel for error propagation based on the input gray level image. The error diffusion kernel is determined by minimizing the predefined error criterion between the input gray level and ouput binary image. The characteristics of human visual system is incorporated into the error criterion for minimization. The results obtained based on the proposed techniques are analyzed and compared with those by the existing error diffusion techniques.

Printed images through color printer often exhibit color distortion due to the nonlinear characteristics of the device. One of the most popular techniques for reducing such color distortions is to employ LUT based color correction. Gray balance should be taken into account during the color correction procedure. Traditionally, it is accomplished by generating additional three 1-D LUTs. This paper presents a 3-D LUT design technique with gray balance correction without the additional 1-D LUTs. The proposed method enables the reduction of the memory size and computational complexity. The traditional way of making 1-D LUTs for the gray balance relies on the operators experience. But, each step of the proposed method depends only on the objective and quantitative criterion. The proposed method is relatively insensitive to the small variations on the uniformity and repeatability of the input devices such as image scanner.
디스플레이 장치에서 조도 환경을 고려한 인지 Contrast 개선 방법

디스플레이 주변의 조도 환경 변화에 따라 인지되는 영상의 시인성이 달라지게 된다. 특히, 높은 조도 환경 에서는 영상의 인지 contrast가 저하되고, 어두운 영역의 detail이 손실되는 문제가 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 높은 조 도에서 인지되는 영상의 시인성을 향상시키기 위해 어두운 영역의 detail 보상을 고려한 contrast 개선 알고리즘을 제 안한다. 영상의 contrast 개선을 위해 TMF(Tone Mapping Function)를 사용하며, TMF는 영상 특성 및 주변 조도에 따라 적응적으로 도출된다. 제안하는 contrast 개선 방법의 성능을 평가하기 위해 원본, 제안하는 방법과 기존 방법의 결과들을 대상으로 성능 비교를 위한 시각 실험을 수행한다. 실험 결과 제안하는 방법을 적용한 영상의 시인성이 원 본 및 기존 방법에 비해 향상된 것을 확인하였다. Changes in ambient illumination around displays affect image visibility. Especially, when viewed under high ambient illumination, perceived contrast of a displayed image would be reduced and details on shadow areas would not be fully reproduced. This paper presents an adaptive contrast enhancement to improve image visibility and reproduce details on shadow areas faithfully. Proposed contrast enhancement method employs tone mapping function(TMF). TMF is determined based on image histogram and controlled automatically by ambient illumination. Relationship between TMF and ambient illumination is drawn by visual experiments. To assess effectiveness of the proposed method, results of the proposed method are compared with original image and those obtained by existing methods. Experimental results indicate that the proposed method is efficient to enhance image visibility under different ambient illuminations.

Field Sequential Color(FSC) 디스플레이는 서로 다른 frame을 순차적으로 화면에 표시하여 영상을 표시한다. 컬러 필터가 없는 FSC 디스플레이는 높은 투과율과 낮은 소비전력의 장점을 갖는다. 하지만, FSC 디스플레이는 순 차적으로 표시하는 구동 방식으로 인하여 움직이는 물체 경계에서 Color break-up(CBU)이 발생한다. CBU는 발생 원인에 따라 static CBU와 dynamic CBU로 나누어진다. 본 논문에서는 두 가지 종류의 CBU에 대한 정량화 방법을 제시하고, 일반영상에서의 CBU를 평가한다. 제안하는 방법의 성능은 시각 실험을 통해 검증한다. 시각 실험 결과 제 안하는 정량화 방법이 실험자가 느끼는 CBU 정도와 일치하는 것을 확인 하였다. On field sequential color (FSC) displays, a frame of an image is represented by sequentially displaying multiple fields. In the case of FSC displays without color filter, light transmission efficiency can be improved and power consumptions can be reduced. Sequential displaying of multiple fields results in undesirable color artifacts near boundaries of moving objects. They are often called as color breakup (CBU). They are two types of the CBUs on the FSC displays : dynamic and static. This paper presents a method to measure degree of CBUs that can be applied to natural color images. Applicability and effectiveness of the CBU model is verified by human visual experiments. Experimental results indicate that the proposed model faithfully matches with the degree of CBU perceived by human observers.

Most color imaging devices often exhibit color distortions due to the differences in realizable color gamuts and nonlinear characteristics of their components. In order to minimize color differences, it is desirable to apply color correction techniques. Th efirst step of color correction is to select the subset of the color coordinates representing the input color space. Th eselected subset serves as so called color samples to model the color distortion of a given color imaging device. The effectiveness of color correction is determined by the color sampels utilized in the modeling as well as the applied color correction technique. This paper presents a new selection method for color samples based on gentic algorithm. In the proposed method, structure of strings are designed so that the selected color samples fully represent the characteristics of color imaging device and consist of distinct color coordinates. To evaluate the performance of the selected color samples, they ar etuilized for three different color correction experiments. The experimentsal results are comapred with the crresponding results obtianed with the equally spaced color samples.
