Newly developed direct drive hydro turbine (DDT) for wave energy converter is suggested in this study. The performance of the turbine model is investigated experimentally with the variation of the wave height in a 2-D wave tank. The results show that the performance of the turbine varies considerably by the wave height. The static pressure and flow rate at the turbine front nozzle as well as the rotational speed of the runner change remarkably by the wave height.
KFL 교육과정을 위한 한국어교육·학습용 참조 어휘목록과 검색 시스템 개발

The purpose of this study is to report on the process of developing a word list for teaching the Korean language (RWL) and constructing a searching system on Microsoft’s EXCEL. First, the existing lists of basic Korean words are analysed (i.e., reference materials, vocabulary selection procedure etc.). Based on the analysis, I constructed and analysed three million-scaled corpus, consisting of 4 sub-corpus (‘Sejong Spoken Corpus’, ‘Korean movies and TV dramas,’ ‘textbooks,’ and ‘TOPIK’), 9 existing word lists, and 2 general corpus. Based on these source corpus I made 4 separated lists and combined them on EXCEL. Following that, various information (ID, parts-of-speech, meanings, guide words, frequency, range between lists, proficiency levels, etc.) were attached to every word. Finally, the concluding case study showed that the RWL can make reliable vocabulary lists depending on the levels of the number of words.

Recent developments such as concern over global warming, depletion of fossil fuels and increase in energy demands by the increasing world population has eventually lead to mass production of electricity using renewable sources. Apart from wind and solar, ocean holds tremendous amount of untapped energy in forms such as geothermal vents, tides and waves. The current study looks at generating power using waves and the focus is on the primary energy conversion (first stage conversion) of incoming waves for different models. Observation of flow characteristics and the velocity in the augmentation channel as well as the front guide nozzle are presented in the paper. A numerical wave tank was used to simulate the waves and after obtaining the desired wave properties; the augmentation channel plus the front guide nozzle and rear chamber were integrated to the numerical wave tank. The waves in the numerical wave tank were generated by a piston type wave maker which was located at the wave tank inlet. The inlet which was modeled as a plate wall moved sinusoidally with the general function, x=asinomegat The augmentation channel consisted of a front nozzle, rear nozzle and an internal fluid region representing the turbine housing. The analysis was performed using the commercial CFD code ANSYS-CFX.
한국어판 Graded Readers 을 이용한다독 수업의 효과에 관한 실증적 연구

The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of extensive reading in KFL settings. For this, we prepared 13 Korean Graded Readers and carried out extensive reading program during 13 weeks in a Japanese university. After 13 weeks-extensive reading program, we compared the gains differences between ER group and control group. The result of reading speed task showed that the ER group`s reading rate became faster than that of control group, but as for C-test, there was no statistically significant difference between two group>. The quantitative am qualitative analyses of questionnaire about ER program and its effects suggested that ER program can affect students` attitude toward reading behavior positively, but it is appeared not enough to induce motivation on learning Korean.

Clean and renewable energy technologies using ocean energy give us non-polluting alternatives to fossil and nuclear-fueled power plants to meet establishment of countermeasures against the global warming and growing demand for electrical energy. Among the ocean energy resources, wave power takes a growing interest because of its enormous amount of potential energy in the world. Therefore, various types of wave power system to capture the energy of ocean waves have been developed. The purpose of this study is to investigate the internal flow and performance characteristics of an cross-flow hydraulic turbine with axisymmetric nozzle shapes. Numerical simulation using a commercial CFD code is conducted to clarify the effects of the turbine rotation speed and flow rate variation on the turbine characteristics. The results show that the output power of the cross flow hydraulic turbine with axisymmetric nozzle shape is obtained mainly from static pressure at Stage 1 and absolute tangential velocity at Stage 2. In addition, nozzle shape should be decided in consideration of the average wave height of the expected installation site.

Wave power generation is getting into the spotlight by one future important substitute energy by clean & pure energy. In this paper, analyzed performance for new cross-flow hydraulic turbine that use wave energy using the commercial CFD code. The cross-flow hydraulic turbine in respect of oscillating flow applied in this paper was designed by suitable structure in wave power generation to rotate to direction that is equal about round trip kind. Used ANSYS CFX that is commercial CFD code for CFD analysis, and examined performance of cross-flow hydraulic turbine by head, flux, number of rotation detailedly.
L2 한국어 관계절의 이해와 산출: NPAH와 유생성 효과의 재검토

Although Keenan & Comrie’s NPAH (1977) hypothesis has been shown to predict the developmental order of relatives clauses (RCs) in SLA (subject RCs are easier than direct object RCs, both in production and comprehension), most studies have been based on L2 English and European languages. This study tests the prediction for L2 Korean, which differs in its language properties (cannonical word order, RCs’ position, cue strength etc.) from those languages. Study 1 analyzed RCs in spoken & written data from learners’ and native speakers’. The results of analysis revealed that SU RCs were produced easier than DO RCs in both data, in both group. However, there were also strong associations between SU and animate heads and between DO/OBL and inanimate heads. Study 2 identified these two factors(NPAH & animacy effect), including L1 transfer (English, Chinese, Japanese). The results of a listening comprehension test (involving RCs types, animacy types) revealed that Japanese & Chinese groups found DO RCs easier than SU RCs, but English group found SU RCs easier than DO RCs. Second, the animacy effect in processing RCs is evident in clear difference between sentence types (the number of animate nouns in a sentence). From these results, research suggested that analyse not only grammatical functions of RCs, but animacy, L1 properties (such as head direction, word order, and cue strength) to understand entire processing patterns of L2 Korean RCs, and suggested two hypotheses; H1) in the [-R] type sentences, SU RCs are easier than DO RCs to process, regardless of L1, but H2) in the case of [+R] type sentences, Chinese learners process DO RCs than SU RCs easier, but English learners process DO RCs than SU RCs easier.

민군기술협력사업은 민과 군의 공동활용 기술개발 및 기술의 상호이전을 추진하는 사업으로, 민군기술의 융합을 바탕으로 과학기술을 효과적으로 획득하고 활용하기 위한 국가정책이다. 1998년 이후 현재까지 정부주도의 다양한 민군기술협력사업 진흥정책이 시행되었으나, 일관성 있는 범 부처자원의 추진체계 및 위원회와 참여기관간의 상호협력 부족으로 그 효과가 극대화되지 못하고 있어 민군기술협력사업의 효율적인 정책 추진 방안에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 정부의 기본계획에 대해 각 수립 시기별로 민군기술협력 거버넌스 변화에 따른 민군기술협력사업의 연구 성과와 민군 기술의 상호 영향성과 문제점을 확인하고, 이를 기반으로 거버넌스에 의한 민군기술협력 사업의 활성화 영향에 대해 분석하였다. 향후 민군기술협력의 시너지 개선을 위하여, 민군기술협력 사업의 정책 주체인 정부부처-위원회-전문가집단 관계구조의 발전방향에 대해 추가 연구할 예정이다.
