한국인의 도시규모별, 거주권역에 따른 체격차이에 관한 연구

본 연구에서는 1992년 국민인체측정조사 결과를 이용하여 도시규모별(대도시 중소도시 읍면) 거주 권역별(수도권 강원 충북권 충남 전라권 경상권)에 따른 체격차이의 유무를 검증하였다. 분석결과 남자의 경우 청소년 중에서 거주 권역별 체격 자가 나타났으며 여자의 경우는 장년층에서 그 차이를 나타냈다. 본 연구 결과를 통해서 향후 국민인체측정조사를 보다 효율적으로 수행할 수 있는 새로운 표본설계의 기틀을 수립 할 수 있는 계기가 될 것으로 판단한다.
관통상으로 응급실을 내원한 내국인과 외국인 환자의 진료의 차이

Purpose: With the increasing numbers of foreign residents in Korea, the need for an emergency medical care system for foreign patients seems to be growing. Sometimes, a foreigner admitted to an emergency room is not treated sufficiently due to the absence of insurance, facility in the Korean language, and a guardian. The management of a foreigner with trauma in the ER is difficult due to various problems such as social and economic status. The purpose of this study was to investigate the current management status of foreigners with penetrating wounds in the emergency room. Methods: This study is an analysis of 580 patients that were diagnosed with penetrating wounds in one teaching Hospital from Jan. 1, 2008 to Dec. 31, 2008. We analyzed results according to nationality, alcohol ingestion, intentional or accidental trauma, trauma mechanism, injury severity, management time in the ER, and outcome in the ER. Results: Of the total 580 patients, 486 patients (83.8%) were native Koreans and 94 patients (16.2%) were foreigners. According to the Revised Trauma Score, the average score of native Korean patients was 7.808, and the average score of foreign patients was 7.638. Of native Korean patients, 22.6% had knife wounds while 38.3% of foreign patients did. Of native Korean patients, 17.3% experienced intentional trauma while 33.0% of the foreign patients did. Of native Korean patients, 22.5% had ingested alcohol while 49.4% of the foreigners had. Of native Korean patients, 10.5% were admitted while 7.6% of the foreign patients were. Of native Korean patients, 14.2% were discharged against medical advice (DAMA), while 18.5% of foreign patients were. Of native Korean patients, 1.2% ran away while 8.7% of the foreign patients did. Conclusion: Stabbing was the most common cause of penetrating wounds in foreigner patients in this study. Intentional trauma was more common in foreigners with penetrating wounds than in native Koreans. The severity was higher in foreigners with penetrating wounds than it was in native Koreans, and patients who ran away or were discharged against medical advice were more commonly foreigners with penetrating wounds. Social insurance or policy is needed for the management of foreigners with penetrating wounds. (J Korean Soc Traumatol 2010;23:102-106)
HP 및 SPS법에 의한 ZnS의 소결과 소결체의 광학적 특성

The sintering behaviors of commercial ZnS nanopowders (purity 99.999%) processed with the two different sintering techniques of hot pressing (HP) and spark plasma sintering (SPS) and optical properties of sintered material are investigated here. The results are compared between the two different sintering techniques in terms of the sintering parameters (density, microstructure, X-ray diffraction pattern) and the optical properties (infrared transmission in the range of 2~20 μm) of the sintered ZnS ceramics. The maximum density was obtained at 950℃ irrespective of the sintering method. The wurtzite (hexagonal) phase causes birefringence due to optical anisotropy which begins at a temperature of more than 920℃. The optimized optical properties were found to be ZnS ceramics sintered with HP at 950℃ and with SPS at 90 0℃. However, contamination from the graphite mold and its influence on the optical properties were confirmed to be very serious, especially in HP and SPS. In the SPS method, the optical properties by light scattering were found in this study to worsen considerably due to the refractive index differences among the ZnS, carbon impurities, and pores.

본 연구의 목적은 자동화된 트레이닝 시스템을 통하여 드론 운용능력을 향상시키는 것에 목표를 두고 있다. 체계적인 드론운용능력을 갖추기 위한 코스를 설계하였으며, 코스를 구성하여 종합적인 평가를 내리기 위해서 4가지의 장치로 구성하였다. 각각의 장치의 명칭은 이착륙장, 게이트, 그라운드 시스템, 드론이며 해당 장치들을 통해 드론 운용 능력을 체계적으로 평가할 수 있다.
정상인에서 전기 및 자기 자극을 이용한 설 근육의 전기생리학적 평가

Background: Abnormality of lingual muscles is clinically common. But its exact clinical assessment is quite difficult. Evaluation of motor power of the lingual muscles and their neural pathway is limited because of anatomical inaccessibility and individual variation of subjective symptoms. Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) of the human motor cortex is a non-invasive tool to assess the functional integrity of the fast conducting central motor pathways and electrical stimulation of lingual nerve is a conventional method of peripheral nerve conduction. Therefore both study will be helpful to understanding of pathophysiology of lingual abnormality. Until now there is no such report in Korea. This study was conducted to acquire the easier method and normal control values of Korean subjects. Method: We recorded the motor responses from the lingual muscles of 32 healthy subjects (22 men, 10 women) by focal cortical TMS with a circular coil. Motor potentials were recorded by means of surface electrodes applied on the both side of the tongue, following TMS several centimeters lateral from the vertex and parietooccipital cortex and peripheral electrical stimulation of the 12th cranial nerve at the lateral 1/3 point of the line between the midline and angle of mandible. Results: During moderate motor activation, majority of maximal motor response were obtained 4-6cm lateral to the vertex with similar latencies. And the responses from magnetic stimulation of the intracranial segment of hypoglossal nerve were discarded because of difficulty to obtain and unsatisfactory reproducibility. The latency of motor evoked potentials in right cortical stimulation was 10.08 ± 1.17 msec and in left stimulation 10.04 ± 1.32 msec. The amplitudes in right 2.15 ± 1.02, left 2.09 ± 1.11 mV. The latencies electric hypoglossal nerve stimulation were 2.42 ± 0.34 in right, 2.49 ± 0.35 msec in left side. The amplitudes were 2.90 ± 2.37 in right, 2.43 ± 1.86 mV in left side. Central conduction times as calculated by subtracting the response latencies obtained by magnetic and electric stimulation are right 7.65 ± 1.19, left 7.55 ± 1.35 msec. There was no significant difference between man and woman, Conclusion: The method may be efficient, noninvasive, painless, and easy reproduced. With more extensive application to various neurological disorders, it comes close to being an ideal clinical conduction study technique for this cranial nerve.

A 30-year-old woman was admitted with sudden onset of diplopia and ptosis of left eye. The Brain MRI, MRA, and conventional angiography showed no intracranial lesion but mild and focal stenotic and aberrant left internal carotid artery. After 2 months ofantiplatelet medication her eye symptoms were disappeared except slight ptosis.
