Both non-governmental and governmental organizations branded Sungsoo Kim``s colonial past as having been a part of pro-Japan collaborative activities during the wartime mobilization of 1937-45. However, such presumptions were made based only on documents, while not regarding any of the statements made by his contemporaries. He had a good nationalist reputation right after Korea’s liberation. He became suspected of being pro-Japanese after a pamphlet entitled 『The Traitors and the Patriots』 was distributed in October, 1945. The pamphlet contained a speech by Sungsoo Kim, containing a message of encouragement to Korean students to join the Japanese army in 1943. It was an article published in the colonial press, the Maeil Sinbo. Political radicals, represented by Heon-yeong Park used the pamphlet to exclude Sungsoo Kim from the course of nation building by branding him as a pro-Japan collaborator. The actual speech writer Jin-oh Yoo explained to the confused and shocked Sungsoo Kim that the article had been written by a reporter from Maeil Sinbo. Bruce Cummings, a distinguished American scholar, made a great mistake by not having verified the documents published about Kim``s collaboration. Some Korean scholars even made false evidences of his collaboration acts. All attempts and documents made to falsely accuse Kim of having been pro-Japan made complete books full of errors. The only evidence of his collaborative acts is articles in the colonial press and a list of executive names of pro-Japanese organizations. Because the articles in the colonial press were distorted during the oppressive wartime periods, it cannot be used as ‘evidence’ for acts of his collaboration. His name was falsely used in executive lists of pro-Japanese organizations. Ultimately, reasons for why Kim’s activities of past-colonial period seem different from that of before, is because of increased pressures from the colonial government after the Sino-Japanese War in July, 1937. Especially, as the new special volunteer recruitment system was set in motion in October, 1943, articles of Sungsoo Kim, president of Posung College, appeared more often in the colonial press. Articles in the colonial press were distorted and twisted as the colonial government had wanted. The writings claiming of his collaboration did not contain a single statement from contemporaries. It is illogical to say the articles weren’t distorted because the statements asserting his innocence have some errors. If Sungsoo Kim were to be held responsible, his fault would only be that he neglected to correct the act of people falsely using his name or acquiescing about false articles about his collaboration. It is also a problem that his whereabouts, which he himself was unaware of, is perceived as having done pro-Japan collaborative activities. Some assertions that Kim collaborated with the Japanese to maintain Posung College, after the discontinuance of the Dong-A Ilbo, has no grounds. Hak-bo Park, a former Dong-A Ilbo reporter, evaluated Sungsoo Kim as a man who would gladly give up his fortune and social status for his country. Jin-oh Yoo saw Posung College as a business to Kim, a business Kim could give up for his beliefs. On one occasion, Kim had risked losing his college by having refused the admission of a collaborator``s request for his son``s. Sungsoo Kim’s belief in righteousness was beyond that of pro-Japanese and anti-Japanese sentiments.

This study evaluated the effect of a combination of acetaminophen (AAP), vitamin C (VC) and thioctic acid (TA) on reducing serum cortisol concentrations in mice with foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) vaccination. For 5 days from 3 days before FMD vaccination to 2 days after vaccination, mice were orally administered with AAP 600 mg/kg feed (n=25, AAPT), combination of AAP 600 mg and VC 200 mg per kg feed (n=25, AVCT) and combination of AAP 600 mg, VC 200 mg and TA 20 mg per kg feed (n=25, AVTT), respectively. From day 1 to day 7 after FMD vaccination, the cortisol concentration of all groups treated with the drug was significantly decreased compared to that of the positive control group with FMD vaccination (p<0.05). In conclusion, the combined treatment of AAP, VC and TA was the most effective in relieving stress from FMD vaccination compared to the single treatment.

Copper is a well known alloying element that is used to improve the resistance to general corrosion of stainless steel And also Cu cation have the anti-fouling effect to inhibit adhesion of the marine algae and shellfish to the surface of heat exchanger cooling pipe or outside wall of the ship, Therefore there are some anti-fouling methods such as anti-fouling Paint mixed with copper oxide or MGPS(Marine Growth Preventing System) by using Cu cation dissolved to the sea wather solution. Cu cation can be dissolved spontaneously by galvanic current due to Potential difference between Cu and cooling pipe of heat exchanger with Ti material, which may be one of the anti-fouling designs. In this study the effect of annealing heat treatment to galvanic current and Polarization behavior was investigated with a electrochemical points of view such as measurement of corrosion Potential, anodic polarization curve. cyclic voltammetric curve, galvanic current etc The grain size of the surface in annealed at $700^{\circ}C$ was the smallest than that of other annealing temperatures. and also the corrosion Potential showed more positive potential than other annealing temperatures. The galvanic current between Ti and Cu with annealed at $700^{\circ}C$ was the largest value in the case of static condition. However its value in the case of flow condition was the smallest than the other temperatures. Therefore in order to increase anti-fouling effect by Cu cation, the optimum annealing temperature in static condition of sea water is $700^{\circ}C$, however non- heat treated specimen in the case of flow condition may be desirable.

AC cold arc welding process with AWS E Ni-CI and NiFe-CI is sometimes used to repair damaged cast iron parts in diesel engine room. But if some difference in hardness on welding zones, repaired parts would be cracked in a short. To overcome this default. this study is performed on varying preheating temperature of welding parts, selecting welding rod etc. Experimental results showed that difference in hardness on welding zones at $200^{\circ}C$ was less than $100^{\circ}C$ and less low current than high current. From this study we could conclude that repair welding at $200^{\circ}C$ preheating and low current as possible as welding in damaged cast iron parts was a little difference in hardness on welding zones.

흡연행태에 따른 Porphyromonas gingivalis의 발현율과 유전형 차이

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to differences in the expression rate of Porphyromonas gingivalis according to smoking status, smoking amount and period of smoking. Methods: At the time of investigation, 30 smokers and non-smokers were recruited among patients with periodontitis with a probing pocket depth(PPD) of 4 mm or more. General information was collected using a self-questionnaire, and the average value was used by a dentist to measure the probing pocket depth of three times each for the first or second molar. Plaque collection and analysis were performed by collecting only subgingival plaque using a conventional method, and the expression rate of P. gingivalis was confirmed using polymerase chain reaction (PCR). For statistical analysis, the SPSS Ver 25.0 program was used. Results: Smoking did not have a significant effect on the expression of P. gingivalis, but it did affect the expression of more type II genotypes (p<0.05). In addition, smokers had more slight periodontal pocket, and the amount and duration of smoking did not affect the expression of P. gingivalis. Conclusions: In the future, it is necessary to reinforce the group of smokers and non-smokers with healthy oral conditions, and to investigate the quantitative difference in the expression rate and genotype of P. gingivalis over time of harmful substances in smoking.
플립드러닝(Flipped Learning) 학습법이 치위생 실습수업 만족도에 미치는 영향

Purpose: This study was conducted to investigate the effect of flipped-learning method on dental hygiene practice satisfaction. Methods: The study was a patient-group crossover design involving 53 third-year students at D's Department of Dental Hygiene. The study tools used self-questionnair and the analysis program used SPSS Ver 25.0. Results: Class satisfaction increased to 3.85 in the first semester and 4.23 in the second semester (p <0.05). Satisfaction with the flip learning method was 4.26, and most answered yes. In addition, it showed a positive effect on class satisfaction (p <0.01). As a result, it can be seen that the flip-learning learning method has a positive effect on the learners' learning motivation, academic achievement, and class satisfaction. Conclusions: it is considered that the flip learning method for hands-on classes should be expanded for the purpose of fostering job competency and high quality clinical practice experts.

Roads are widely accepted to be as a major cause of habitat fragmentation. The wildlife road-crossing structure is one of the most acceptable alternatives among the solutions to provide connectivity between patches isolated by roads. We investigated noise disturbance, vegetation structure and wildlife crossing and habitation at a wildlife road-crossing structure located at the Jingmaei-Pass in Incheon, Korea, to monitor and evaluate its conservation value and ecological performance and to propose measures for their adaptive management. From the result of noise measurement, the noise disturbance from the road traffic was not properly blocked out at the wildlife crossing structure. The survey results of vegetation structure showed that the early-successional plant species such as Ambrosia trifida, Erigeron annuus, Pueraria lobata, Rosa multiflora invaded widely on the crossing structure. An efficient management of the vegetation should be necessarily considered for the facilitation of vegetation succession and the improvement of animal habitat. The crossing structure was used by limited mammal species: Apodemus agrarius, Nyctereutes procyonoides, Mogera wogura and Sciurus vulgaris coreae as the results of the monitoring using footprints and closed-circuit television. In conclusion, The Jingmaei-Pass wildlife crossing structure is unable to function properly as a biological corridor because of the interference of noise and flourishing disturbed vegetation. Therefore, proper alternatives are required for improving animal habitats and mobile environments to enhance the ecological function of a wildlife corridor.
