김립은 `시`를 통해 자신의 존재 이유를 찾았다. 그의 시는 때로는 비유적으로, 때로는 직설적으로 세상에 대해 말한다. 욕설과 조롱의 시. 그 때문에 그는 학자들에게 비판을 받기도 했다. 그러나 우리가 주목해야 점은 욕설과 조롱 자체가 아니다. 오히려 그 이면에 담긴 김립의 사유가 더 중요하다. 노골적인 웃음 뒤에 감춰진 서글픈 자기 연민. 이 글에서 주목한 키워드다. 김립의 방랑은 개인적 분노에서 출발한다. 시간이 지나면서 그 분노는 사회로 향했다. 사회적 모순에 대한 분노가 크지만, 그는 아무 것도 할 수 없다. 그런 자신에 대한 부끄러움도 커졌다. 그의 시에 등장하는 사회에 대한 공격, 민중에 대한 애정, 자아 성찰은 이런 배경에서 만들어졌다. 특히 그의 시를 지배하는 웃음은 그 이면에 주목할 필요가 있다. 한바탕 웃고 넘어가면 그만인 작품 뒤에 숨겨진 통곡. 그것은 탈출구조차 찾지 못한 김립 시의 실체이기 때문이다. 그의 시가 울분의 시대를 살았던 식민지 지식인들 사이에서 널리 애송되었다는 점도 그와 맥을 같이 한다. The Joseon Dynasty poet Kim Lib (金笠) found his raison d`etre through poetry. Popularly known as “Kim Sat-gat the Wandering Minstrel,” Kim Lib, or Kim Byeong-yeon (金炳淵, 1807~ 1863) as his real name, speaks of the world sometimes metaphorically or sometimes bluntly. Because he wrote poems of profanity and mockery, he was often criticized by scholars. But, what should be noted as important is not profanity or mockery per se but the poet`s personal reason behind his works. The keyword is sad self-pity hidden behind obvious laughter. Kim Lib`s wandering started from personal rage. As time passed by, the rage was directed towards society. He was angry against social contradiction but he could not do anything. His sense of shame toward himself grew larger. His attack against society, affection for people and self-examination appearing his poems were made from such a background. Laughter in particular that dominates Kim`s poems should be noted in this regard. Behind the poems inviting simple bursts of laughter are wails of pain. That is the true nature of Kim Lib who could not find his way out.
Adaptive Load Balancing based on Consistency

부하 평형은 과부하 사이트의 부하종 일부를 다른 사이트로 옮김으로써 분산 처리 시스템의 성능 개선을 꾀한다. 본 논문에서는 source-initiate와 server-initiate 방 식을 모두 지원하며 극단적인 예로서 m/m/1 대기행렬(부하 비평형)과 m/m/n 대기 행렬 (완전한 부하 평형)도 모델화 할 수 있는 부하 평형 방식을 제안하였다. 이 방식은 상 태 변수를 각 사이트에 복제하고 각 복사본의 일치성을 완화한다. 그리고 오래된 스케 줄러가 통신을 하지 않고도 부하 평형을 보장할 수 있는 충분조건을 요도하였다. 이 모델을 이용하면 부하 평형의 문제가 상태의 일관성을 유지하는 문제로 바뀌게 되며 기존의 비딩 알고리즘보다 통신량이 적어지게 된다. 이벤트 트레이싱 방법으로 모의 실험하였으며 2개의 극단적인 경우 및 비딩알고리즘과 비교하였다. 그 결과 평균 응답 시간과 통신량에 있어서 비딩알고리즘보다 각각 0-35%, 40-100%의 성능향상을 보였다. 마지막으로 각 시스템 피라미터의 영향을 분석하였다. Load balancing attempts to improve the performance of a distributed computing system by transferring some of the workload of a congested site to others. A load balancing scheme that supports both the source-initiated and the server- initiated load balancing is proposed in this paper. It can model both the m/m/1 queue(no load balancing) and the m/m/n queue(perfect load balancing) as the extreme State variables are replicated into every site, and copy consistency constraints are relaxed more weakly. We propose weak copy consistency constraints which correlate the outdated state information to that of the current state. We also derive sufficient conditions under which each scheduler can guarantee the load balancing without communication Using this model, the problem of load balancing is converted to that of maintaining the consistency of states and communication overhead becomes less than that of the bidding algorithm. The scheme is simulated by event tracing, compared to the two extreme cases and the bidding algorithm. The results show that the mean response time and the number of messages are reduced by 0-35% and 40-100% respectively, compared with the bidding algorithm. Finally the effects of some system parameters are described.
프레임 브러싱 방법을 이용한 열확산 코어 광섬유 제작 및 특성

Thermal expanded core (TEC) fiber can reduce, being advantaged from thermal diffusion technology, connection loss by expanding the tolerance in relation to axial offset and gap when making optical connection having mode field diameter (MFD) of optical fiber expanded locally. In this paper, TEC fiber fabrication system based on the frame brushing techniques using twin-torch tip was designed and developed in order to maintain a stable thermal diffusion and single-mode when manufacturing TEC fiber. We were able to obtain that varied kinds of TEC fibers of which MFD could have been extended between $20\;{\mu}m$ and $40\;{\mu}m$ by TEC fiber fabrication system. In addition, the characteristic of connection loss was measured by alignment two TEC fibers of which MFD was $30\;{\mu}m$.
비중격 골절을 동반한 단순 비골 골절의 치료에 있어 비중격 교정술의 중요성: 비강 통기도 검사를 이용한 평가

Purpose: Nasal bone fractures are often classified as minor injury. However, the incidence of posttraumatic nasal deformity remains alarmingly high. It is because of unnoticed septal fracture. This study was conducted to determine the necessity of septoplasty for patients with nasal bone fracture accompanying grade I septal fractures. Methods: Among 105 patients with nasal bone fractures, 52 who had grade I septal fracture were diagnosed based on physical examination and computed tomography. Patients' age ranged from 14 to 65 years (mean 29.25 years), and 35 were male and 17 female. Patients were divided into 2 groups according to surgical treatment methods: patients who underwent closed reduction only (group 1, n=28) and those who underwent simultaneous closed reduction and septoplasty (group 2, n=24). The treatment outcomes were evaluated by comparing changes in nasal airway volume measured by acoustic rhinometry before the surgery, 3 months and 6 months after the surgery according to the timing of surgical repair and surgical treatment methods. Results: Nasal airway volume increased after the surgery by 17.8% in 3 months after the surgery, 25.2% in 6 months in group 1 and by 22.7% in 3 months, 35.8% in 6 months in group 2. The increase in airway volume after the surgery by 26.3% in 3 months after the surgery, 34.2% in 6 months after the surgery in operation within 1 week after trauma and by 12.1% in 3 months, 22.2% in 6 months after the operation later 1 week after trauma. The difference was statistically significant. Three patients in group 1 complained of intermittent nasal obstruction, two of whom showed a decrease in nasal airway volume by acoustic rhinometry. Conclusion: Most patients with nasal bone fractures accompanying grade I septal fractures have been treated with closed reduction in clinical settings. However, the results of this study suggest that septoplasty be performed after a correct diagnosis of septal fracture is made through comprehensive physical examination and computed tomography. Septoplasty is important to obtain more favorable outcomes and reduce complication.

Purpose: Lacerations requiring formal wound closure compose a significant number of all childhood injuries presenting to the emergency department. The problem with conventional suture technique are that suture removal is quite cumbersome, especially in children. Unwanted soft tissue damage can result in the process of suture removal, which calls for sedation, stressful for both medical personnel and child. The purpose of this study is to introduce the convenient suture technique for pediatric facial lacerations. Methods: Children under the age of four, presenting to the emergency department with facial lacerations were enrolled in the study. From March 2008 to June 2009, 63 patients (41 males and 22 females) with an average age of 1.4 years were treated with our convenient suture technique using utilized a loop suspended above a double, flat tie. Clean, tension free wounds were treated with our technique, wounds with significant skin defect and concomitant fractures were excluded. Results: The Patients were followed-up in 1, 3 and 5 days postoperatively. On the third hospital visit, suture removal was done by simply cutting the loop suspended above the wound margin and gently pulling the thread with forceps. There were no significant differences in the rates of infection and dehiscence compared with conventional suture technique. Conclusion: The use of our technique was to be simple with similar operative time compared with conventional suture technique. Removal of suture materials were easy without unwanted injuries to the surrounding tissue which resulted in less discomfort for the patient and greater parental satisfaction, minimized the complications. It can be considered as a viable alternative in the repair of pediatric facial lacerations.
Tetrameric β를 이용한 고초균 포자에서의 미생물 표면 발현 모체 선별

Using tetrameric ${\beta}$-galactosidase as a model protein, anchoring motives were screened in Bacillus subtilis spore display system. Eleven spore coat proteins were selected considering their expression levels and the location in the spore coat layer. After chromosomal single-copy homologous integration in the amyE site of Bacillus subtilis chromosome, cotE and cotG were chosen as possible spore surface anchoring motives with their higher whole cell ${\beta}$-galactosidase activity. PAGE and Wester blot of extracted fraction of outer layer of purified spore, which express CotE-LacZ or CotG-LacZ fusion verified the existence of exact size of fusion protein and its location in outer coat layer of purified spore. ${\beta}$-galactosidase activity of spore with CotE-LacZ or CotG-LacZ fusion reached its highest value around 16~20 h of culture time in terms of whole cell and purified spore. After intensive spore purification with lysozyme treatment and renografin treatment, spore of BJH135, which expresses CotE-LacZ, retained only 1~2% of its whole cell ${\beta}$-galactosidase activity. Whereas spore of BJH136, which has cotG-lacZ cassette in the chromosome, retained 10~15% of its whole cell ${\beta}$-galactosidase activity, proving minor perturbation of CotG-LacZ, when incorporated in the spore coat layer of Bacillus subtilis compared to CotE-LacZ. Usage of Bacillus subtilis WB700, of which 7 proteases are knocked-out and thereby resulting in 99.7% decrease in protease activity of the host, did not prevent the proteolytic degradation of spore surface expressed CotG-LacZ fusion protein.

아스팔트포장의 수명 및 공용성 확보를 위한 품질관리 대책의 하나로 아스팔트포장 포설면의 온도 불균형(Thermal Segregation) 현상 최소화를 위하여 균질한 다짐밀도를 확보하기 위한 연구가 미국에서 수행되고 있다. 특히, 적외선 카메라(Infrared Camera)를 이용하여 포설 또는 다짐작업 중인 아스팔트포장 표면의 온도분포를 파악하여 품질관리 기준으로 활용하고 있다. 국내에서도 온도분포 파악을 통한 아스팔트포장의 효율적인 다짐관리 방안이 필요하고 이에 대한 연구가 현재 수행되고 있다. In resent years, temperature segregation has been identified as one of the most important concepts concerning segregation. An Infrared Camera is one of the tools that have been recognized to be effective in identifying temperature segregation. Several state of USA have recognized the problem and have enacted Specifications, and/or test procedures to eliminate temperature segregation. The major objective of this study is to investigate effective compaction method of hot mix asphalt during road construction using Infrared Camera.
잠수함 교전 시뮬레이션의 사후분석을 위한 객체와 소나 표적간의 연관 기법

We propose a method to generate the object-target identifier mapping information for system performance and effectiveness analysis of submarine engage system and verify the validity of the proposed method through experiments. In the submarine model of the engage simulator, the signal processing algorithm of the actual sonar system is installed. In the target information obtained through the sonar or signal processing process, the actual object information is not known, and the simulator does not provide such information. Therefore, in this study, we generated identifier mapping information for simulation post-analysis by using bearing, range, and speed of the target obtaind from sonar signal processing and the object collected. 함정 전투실험의 사후분석에서는 객체에 대한 자함의 표적 탐지능력와 무장 교전능력을 분석한다. 따라서 사후분석을 위해서는 전장 환경의 위협 객체와 센서에서 탐지한 표적간 연관 맺을 수 있는 정보가 필요하다. 기존의 공학급 교전 시뮬레이터는 이러한 객체-표적 연관정보를 제공하였다. 그러나 사용된 시뮬레이터의 잠수함모델에는 실제 소나시스템의 신호처리 알고리즘이 탑재되어있다. 소나신호처리 과정을 통해 얻은 표적정보에서는 실제 객체정보가 무엇인지 연관지을 수 없으며, 사용된 시뮬레이터도 그러한 정보를 제공하지 않고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 객체정보와 소나신호처리에서 얻은 표적의 방위각, 거리, 속도 등의 기동정보를 이용하여 객체-표적 연관정보를 생성하였다. 객체-표적 연관정보를 생성하는 방법을 제안하고, 제안한 방법의 타당성을 실험을 통해 검증하였다.
