Fusion of phosphatidylserine/phosphatidyl ethanolamine vesicles induced by polyarginine and copolymers of various proportions of lysine and alanine and a 1:1 copolymer of lysine and phenylalanine was investigated. The fusion process was monitored by electron micorscope, by fluorimetrically observing the Tb-DPA complex formation, by monitoring turbidity increase and by passing the vesicles through a gel filtration column. Although the charge interaction is the first step leading to the fusion, the hydrophobic residues appear to be important for promoting fusion of PS/PE vesicles.

Pseuomonas Syringae로 부터 빙핵활성단백질의 정제 및 특성에 관한 연구

The protein responsible for ice-nucleation activity by Pseudomonas syringae AL (KCTC 1832) has been purified. The protein was purified from the outer membrane fraction of the cell by methods including extraction with non-denaturing detergents octyl-β-D-thio-glucopyranoside, gel filtration chromatography on Sephacryl S-400 and gel electroelution. The molecular weight of the ice-nucleating protein is estimated to be about 150,000 dalton by SDS-PAGE. Ice-nucleation activity was measured by the micro-pipette method. Ice-nucleation activity of the purified protein was about -8∼-9 ℃, whereas the freezing point of supercooled water is -17 ℃.

Pseudomonas syringae로부터 빙핵활성을 갖는 단백질을 분리 정제하였다. 빙핵활성단백질은 균주로부터 분리한 세포외막에 비변성 계면활성제로 추출하고, Sephacryl S-400 크로마토그래피와 전기영동 용출법으로 정제하였다. 빙핵활성단백질은 분자량이 전기영동상에서 150,000 dalton 이었다. 빙핵활성의 측정은 모세관측정법을 사용하였고 정제된 단백질은 $-8^{\circ}C$에서 빙핵활성을 나타냈다. Transmission of Moving Image on the Internet Using Wavelet Transform and Neural Network

In this Paper we discuss an algorithm for a real-time transmission of moving color image on the TCP/IP network using wavelet transform and neural network. The Image frames received from the camera are two-level wavelet-transformed in the server, and are transmitted to the client on the network. Then, the client performs the inverse wavelet-transform using only the received pieces of each image frame within the prescribed time limit to display the moving images. When the TCP/IP network is busy, only a fraction of each image frame will be delivered. When the line is free, the whole frame of each image will be transferred to the client. The receiver warns the sender of the condition of traffic congestion in the network by sending a special short frame for this specific purpose. The sender can respond to this information of warning by simply reducing the data rate which is adjusted with a neural network or fuzzy logic. In this way we can send a stream of moving images adaptively adjusting to the network traffic condition.

댄스스포츠 프로그램이 CKP중년여성의 대퇴부 근육과 무릎관절 기능에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 CKP(Chronic knee pain) 중년여성을 대상으로 댄스스포츠 프로그램 중 Jive 수행이 대퇴부 근육의 두께와 무릎관절 체중당 최대회전력 변화에 미치는 영향을 분석하여 대퇴부 근육 및 무릎관절 기능의 향상을 위한 수단으로써 댄스스포츠의 효용성을 규명하는데 목적을 두고 실시하였다. 통제 집단 10명, 댄스스포츠수행 집단 10명으로 분류하여, 실험 절차에 따라 댄스스포츠 수행은 1주일에 5회 빈도로, 1회 60분, 8주 동안 총 40회에 걸쳐 warm up 10분, main exercise 40분, Cool-down 10분순으로 Jive를 실시하였다. 댄스스포츠 수행 전·후 CKP 중년여성의 외측광근, 내측광근의 두께 및 무릎관절 체중당 최대회전력 변화를 측정하여 수집한 자료를 분석한 결과 댄스스포츠 수행 시 CKP 중년여성들의 외측광근, 내측광근의 두께가 유의한 차이 (*p<.05)가 있게 변화되었다. 또한 댄스스포츠 수행 시 무릎관절 각속도의 굴근 체중당 최대회전력의 변화 중 오른쪽 다리 굴근 90°/sec(*p<.05), 120°/sec(**p<.01), 180°/sec(**p<.01), 왼쪽 다리 굴근 90°/sec(*p<.05), 120°/sec(***p<.001), 180°/sec(***p<.001)가 유의한 차이가 있게 변화되었다. 신근 체중당 최대회전력의 변화 중오른쪽 다리 신근 90°/sec(*p<.05), 120°/sec(***p<.001), 180°/sec(*p<.05), 왼쪽 다리 신근 90°/sec(**p<.01), 120°/sec(*p<.05), 180°/sec(**p<.01)가 유의한 차이가 있게 변화되었다. This study was performed for middle-aged women with CKP(Chronic knee pain) for the purpose of examining the efficiency of dance sports program as a means of improving the function of femoral muscles and knee joints by analyzing its effect on the change of femoral muscles thickness and on the change of knee joints peak torque % body weight. The subjects were classified into 2 groups: ① control group(n=10) and ② dance sports group(n=10). dance sports(jive) training which includes 10minutes`` warm up, 40 minutes`` main exercise and 10 minutes`` cool-down was performed for 60 minutes each time, 5 times a week, and totally 40 times over 8 weeks. The thickness of femoral muscles and knee function were measured before and after the dance sports training. The results of this study were presented as follows: dance sports training can effectively change the thickness of vastus lateralis and vastus medialis(*p<.05). Also dance sports training can effectively change the flexors of right leg among the changes of peak torque % body weight 90°/sec(*p<.05), 120°/sec(**p<.01), 180°/sec(**p<.01), flexors of left leg 90°/sec(*p<.05), 120°/sec(***p<.001), 180°/sec(***p<.001), and extensor of right leg 90°/sec(*p<.05), 120°/sec(***p<.001), 180°/sec(*p<.05), extensor of left leg 90°/sec(**p<.01), 120°/sec(*p<.05), 180°/sec(**p<.01).

자연과학분야 : 무용프로그램 수행이 고혈압 비만 노인여성의 혈중지질과 혈압 및 렙틴농도에 미치는 효과

본 연구는 비만으로 정의되는 BMI 25kg/m²이상으로 SBP 140mmHg, DBP 90mmHg이상인 고혈압 비만 노인여성을 대상으로 무용프로그램 수행이 혈중지질과 혈압 및 렙틴농도 변화에 미치는 영향을 규명하는데 목적을 두고 실시하였다. 통제 집단 8명, 무용프로그램 수행 집단 8명으로 분류하여, 실험 절차에 따라 무용프로그램 수행은 1주일에 3회 빈도로, 1회 60분, 12주 동안 총 36회에 걸쳐 한국무용을 실시하였다. 무용프로그램 수행 전·후 노인여성의 혈중지질 및 혈압 변화를 측정하여 수집한 자료를 분석한 결과 실험군의 경우 HDL-C는 유의하게(*p<.05) 증가하였으며, TC(*p<.05), LDL-C(**p<.01), SBP(**p<.01), DBP(*p<.05) 및 leptin(*p<.05)은 유의하게 감소하였다. 통제군의 경우 사전, 사후 거의 변화가 없었다. 전체적으로 무용프로그램 수행은 고혈압 비만 노인여성의 혈중지질 개선과 혈압 및 렙틴농도 관리에 긍정적인 효과가 있어 운동의 대안적인 역할을 효과적으로 수행할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다. The purpose of this study is reviewing the effect of dance program on the changes of serum lipids and blood pressure and leptin of obese elderly women with hypertension between perform and non-perform groups. Dance program perform were performed for 60minutes at a time, 3 times a week for 12 weeks. The result of the perform is as follows. After the perform, HDL-C in the experimental group significantly increased(*p<.05), while TC(*p<.05), LDL-C(**p<.01), SBP(**p<.01), DBP(*p<.05) and leptin(*p<.05) decreased significantly. There is little change in the control group. On the whole, dance program has a positive effect on serum lipids and changes in blood pressure and leptin of obese elderly women with hypertension. Therefore, It is considered that dance program plays a critical role in the improvement of lipid as well as the management of blood pressure and leptin for elderly women who dislike working out.

현대 패션에 나타난 기모노 스타일에 관한 연구

본 연구의 목적은 기모노의 디자인 특징을 파악하고 이를 토대로 현대패션에 나타난 기모노 스타일에 대한 분석을 통해 향후 기모노 스타일의 디자인을 기획하는데 도움이 되는 기초 자료를 제공하는 것이다. 연구방법은 서적, 학술지 등의 문헌자료와 패션잡지, 패션 사이트 등의 시각적 자료를 참고하여 추출, 선별된 총 361점을 디자인 분석 하였다. 연구범위는 2005년~2010년 S/S, F/W의 패션 컬렉션을 중심으로 디자인 요소를 분류하였다. 본 연구의 내용과 결과로서 기모노에 나타난 칼라, 소매, 오비, 문양, 색채 등의 디자인 특성을 파악하여 형태별, 요소별 디자인을 기획하는데 필요한 이미지들을 정리,분석하여 제시하였다. 컬렉션에서 보여진 기모노 스타일의 칼라, 소매, 허리 강조형의 디자인 형태와 문양, 색채 등 각각의 아이템들은 따로 또는 함께 믹스 앤 매치 되거나 레이어드 되어 디자인 영역을 확대시켰으며 현대 패션 스타일에 다양하게 표현되어 제공되었다. The purpose of this study is to grasp the characteristic of the design of Kimono, to analyze the style of Kimono appeared in contemporary fashion on the basis of it and to provide the fundamental ground for planning the design of Kimono style hereafter. Scope of study is focused on 2005~2010 S/S, F/W Collection and elements of design were classified. With data of literature by referring to visual data from books, academic journals, fashion magazines and fashion sites etc. Design analysis was carried out on 361 pieces in total. As result of contents of this study this author identified, summed up, analysed and presented characteristics of design such as color, sleeves, Obi and patterns which appear at Kimono. This author expanded area of design by mixing and matching or layering separately or together for each item such as design of form, pattern, sleeve with emphasis on waist in Kimono style displayed at collection and expressed it in diverse way to modern fashion style and offered it.
