그림책을 활용한 공감 기반 인성교육 활동이 유아의 정서조절 및 배려 행동에 미치는 영향

사회적 존재인 인간에게 있어 타인과의 관계는 무엇보다 중요함에도 개인의 성공과 가치만을 추구하므로 많은 사회적 갈등 문제가 발생됨에 따라 인성교육의 필요성이 더욱 강조되고 있다. 함께 어울려 살아가야 하는 공동체 안에서 타인의 감정과 생각을 인식하고 이해하는 공감 기반 인성교육은 유아가 자신의 정서를 조절하도록 하며 타인을 배려하는 친사회적 태도를 갖게 하여 유아를 긍정적 방향으로 발전되게 할 것이다. 더욱 질적으로 중요한 시기 인 유아기의 인성교육은 우리의 전 생애에 영향을 미치므로 중요성이 크다. 본 연구는 유아교육 현장에서 그림책을 매개로 하여 공감에 기반 한 인성교육 활동을 통해 유아의 정서조절 및 배려 행동에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 규명하는데 그 목적을 둔다. 이와 같은 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 다음과 같은 연구 문제를 설정하였다. 첫째, 그림책을 활용한 공감 기반 인성교육활동이 유아의 정서조절에 미치는 영향은 어떠한가? 둘째, 그림책을 활용한 공감 기반 인성교육활동이 유아의 배려 행동에 미치는 영향은 어떠한가? 위의 문제를 검증하기 위해 경기도 A시에 위치한 J유치원의 만5세 반 2반을 연구 대상으로 하였다. 두 집단은 사전 검사에서 동질집단임을 확인한 후 실험집단과 비교집단으로 나누었다. 실험집단은 2016년 5월 2일부터 6월 24일까지 8주 동안 매주 2회씩 16회에 걸쳐 그림책을 활용한 공감 기반 인성교육 활동을 수행하였으며, 비교집단은 그림책을 활용한 덕목 설명하기를 수행하였다. 본 수업활동의 효과는 공감 기반 인성교육 활동 전과 후 두 집단의 유아들을 대상으로 실시한 정서조절 측정도구와 배려 검사 점수로 검증하였다. 연구에서 수집된 자료들은 SPSS WIN 23.0을 사용하여 t검정과 Welch-Aspin 검정으로 통계처리를 하였다. 이 연구를 통하여 연구자가 얻게 된 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 그림책을 활용한 공감 기반 인성교육 활동은 유아의 정서조절에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 정서조절의 하위 요인인 타인정서조절과 자기정서조절에서 모두 유의미한 차이를 나타냈다. 따라서 그림책을 활용한 공감 기반 인성교육 활동은 유아의 정서조절 향상에 효과적임을 알 수 있다. 둘째, 그림책을 활용한 공감 기반 인성교육 활동은 유아의 배려 행동에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 배려 행동의 하위요인인 환경배려, 타인배려, 자기배려, 동식물 배려에서 모두 유의미한 차이를 나타냈다. 따라서 그림책을 활용한 공감 기반 인성교육 활동은 유아의 배려 행동 향상에 효과적임을 알 수 있다. 이상의 연구 결과를 종합해 보면 그림책을 활용한 공감 기반 인성교육 활동은 유아로 하여금 타인의 감정과 생각을 인식하고 이해하며 내면화하는 공감의 과정을 통해 자신의 정서를 상황에 맞게 조절하게 되었고, 타인을 배려하는 긍정적인 효과가 있었으므로 유아교육기관에서 교육활동 전략으로 활용될 수 있음을 시사한다. The relationship with others is of the utmost importance for a human as a social being. However, the need for personality education is more emphasized as many social conflicts arise from the pursuit of individual success and value alone. Personality education in early childhood, which is a more qualitatively important period, is important because it affects our whole life. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of empathy-based personality education activities in the education field through the picture book on the emotional regulation and caring behaviors of children required for the smooth social relations. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, we set the following research questions.    First, what is the effect of empathy-based personality education activities using picture books on children's emotional regulation? Second, what is the effect of empathy-based personality education activities using picture books on children's caring behaviors? In order to verify the above questions, the two classes of 5 years old children of J kindergarten located in A city in Gyeonggi province were set as the research subject. Two groups were identified as the homogeneous group in the pre-test. Experimental group performed empathy-based personality education activities using picture book for a total of 16 times, twice a week for 8 weeks, from May 2 to June 24, 2016. The comparative group performed the personality education activities explaining the virtues using the picture books. The effectiveness of this class activity was verified by the emotional adjustment measurement tool and the caring test score of the two groups. Data collected from the study were statistically analyzed by t-test and Welch-Aspin test using SPSS WIN 23.0. The results obtained are summarized as follows. First, empathy-based personality education activities using picture books were found to affect children's emotional regulation, and there were significant differences in both emotional regulation of the self and others, which are sub-factors of the emotional regulation. Therefore, it can be said that empathy-based personality education activities using picture books are effective in improving emotional regulation of the children. Second, empathy-based personality education activities using picture books were found to influence the caring behaviors of the children. Also, sub-factors of caring behaviors such as environmental care, caring of others, self-care, and animal care showed significant differences. Therefore, it can be understood that empathy-based personality education activities using picture books are effective in improving caring behaviors of the children. In conclusion, empathy-based personality education activities using picture books have a positive effect on emotion regulation of the children through the process of empathy in which the children recognizes, understands and internalizes the emotions and thoughts of others. This suggests that it can be used as an educational activity strategy in early childhood education institutions.

금속 판재 가공의 다변적 조합을 활용한 아트퍼니처 연구 : 건축 표면 이미지를 중심으로

본 연구는 금속 판재를 사용하여 포스트모던 시대의 새로운 기호인 아 트퍼니처를 연구자가 분석한 다변적인 가공법으로 제작, 표현하기 위해 수행되었다. 연구에 사용된 금속 판재는 현재 가장 많이 사용되는 재료 중 하나이며, 산업에서 대부분의 사물에 적용되고 있다고 해도 과언이 아니다. 하지만 많은 독립 가구 제작자에게는 효율성, 경제성 면에서 자 유롭게 접근하기 쉽지 않다. 이러한 문제점을 개선하고 합리적인 방안을 모색하기 위하여 연구자는 공예적인 방식과 산업 생산 방식의 교차 적용 을 탐구하여 심미성과 제작의 합리성을 내포할 수 있는 새로운 개념의 가구를 연구하였다. 이에 따라 제작된 <구성 연작: Compositional Object Series>은 구리, 스테인리스강, 강철판 등 여러 가지 금속 판재를 이용해서 다양한 가공 방법이 복합적으로 적용된 아트퍼니처이다. 연구는 크게 네 부분으로 구성되어 있다. 첫 번째로, 아트퍼니처라는 새 로운 기호의 발생과 더불어 금속의 역사적 맥락과 금속 가구의 발전 단 계, 그리고 현재 금속이 적용된 아트퍼니처의 특징을 기술하였다. 다음으 로는 금속 판재의 일반적인 고찰과 이를 체계적으로 분석하기 위하여 금 속 판재의 종류, 각 분야에서의 활용, 그리고 가구에서 어떻게 금속 판재 가공이 쓰이고 있는지 사례별로 정리하였다. 그리고 4장에서는 본 연구 에 사용된 금속 판재의 절곡과 접합의 방법, 그리고 이 두 가지를 다변 적으로 조합할 때의 조형성과 장점을, 최종적으로 연구 작품에서 적용된 형태와 방법론이 담겨있다. 마지막 5장: 작품 연구에서는 금속 판재의 다변적인 가공 조합을 연구 자만의 조형 방식으로 해석한 작품과 이에 대한 설명으로 구성하였다. 연구자는 주위에서 흔히 발견할 수 있는 건축의 표면 이미지를 작품의 구조와 형태에 적용하였는데, 그 이유와 개념, 조형의 과정이 담겨있다. 세부적으로는 건축을 이루고 있는 요소인 바닥과 천장, 벽, 기둥의 조형 을 작품의 형태로 설계하였으며 패턴을 통하여, 또는 구조적인 요소로서 가구를 표현하였다. 이에 대한 근거를 위하여 건축과 가구에 대한 표현 의 유사성과 조형의 연관관계, 추가로 연구자에게 영감을 준 아트퍼니처 의 예시를 함께 거론하였다. 본 연구는 절곡, 콜드조인트 등 산업에서 주로 사용하고 있는 금속 판 재의 여러 복합적인 가공법으로 아트퍼니처라는 가구의 예술성을 충분히 표현하고자 했다는 것에 의의가 있다. 이 결과물이 향후 해당 분야를 넘 어 심미성을 강조한 많은 조형에서 다양하게 추가적인 분석이 이루어지 기를 기대하며, 더불어 현시대의 새로운 기호인 아트퍼니처의 후속적인 연구 또한 활발히 진행되기를 바란다. This thesis was conducted to investigate the use of metal plates to crafting innovative art furniture, a new signifier of the post-modern era, through a variety of processing methods analyzed by the researcher. The metal plate is one of the most used materials today, and it is applied to a wide variety of objects in industry. However, for many individual furniture makers, it is not easily accessible in terms of efficiency and affordability. In order to improve these problems and find a reasonable solution, the researcher explored how to apply craft methods and industrial production methods together to create a new concept of furniture that can achieve creative form and production rationality at the same time. <The Compositional Object Series> is a series of art furniture made of metal sheets such as copper, stainless steel, and steel sheets using various processing methods devised by the researcher. The research consists of four main parts. Chapter 2 delves into the emergence of art furniture as a new signifier, the historical progression of the use of metal, and the characteristics of current art furniture with metal. In order to systematically analyse furniture made of metal sheets, Chapter 3 classifies the types of metal sheets, their applications in different fields, and how metal sheet processing is applied in furniture. Chapter 4 explores the methods of bending and joining metal sheets, and providing a detailed account of the forms and methods used in the researcher’s artworks. The final chapter, Chapter 5, elucidates the researcher’s distinctive fabrication approach, employing various combinations of processing methods of metal plates. In this study, the researcher integrated the surface image of architecture to the structure and form of his work, explaining the reasons for the work, the concepts used in the work, and the process of creating the form. Specifically, the researcher designed the furniture inspired by the forms of floors, ceilings, walls, and columns of architecture, and made furniture by adopting the exterior patterns or structural elements of architecture. The rationale lies in the figurative and tectonic connections between architecture and furniture that influenced researcher’s works. Through this study, various industrial metal plate processing methods, such as bending and cold joints technics, are successfully applied to the making of art furniture, which highly values artistry and aesthetics. In the course of this, the researcher demonstrates that industrial techniques can enhance the artistic expression of furniture, broadening production possibilities. It is expected that this study will contribute significantly to the research on merging industrial techniques with craft production in art furniture, further expanding the scope of creative production in the present era. Subsequent research on art furniture, a distinctive symbol of contemporary times, is anticipated to thrive as a result.
