In this study, we analyzed the performance of the BERT-based document classification model by automatically classifying documents in the field of library and information science based on the KoBERT. For this purpose, abstract data of 5,357 papers in 7 journals in the field of library and information science were analyzed and evaluated for any difference in the performance of automatic classification according to the size of the learned data. As performance evaluation scales, precision, recall, and F scale were used. As a result of the evaluation, subject areas with large amounts of data and high quality showed a high level of performance with an F scale of 90% or more. On the other hand, if the data quality was low, the similarity with other subject areas was high, and there were few features that were clearly distinguished thematically, a meaningful high-level performance evaluation could not be derived. This study is expected to be used as basic data to suggest the possibility of using a pre-trained learning model to automatically classify the academic documents.
A Fruitless Crown and a Barren Scepter : 맥베스의 부계 존속 실패와 생식 불능에 대한 열등감

Macbeth has been studied with the theme of masculinity with its frequent mention of ‘what it means to be a man.’ Prior studies tend to focus on female characters to discuss the theme of masculinity shown in the play. Diverging from these studies, this paper aims to take a look on Macbeth’s insurmountable complex of being unable to bear a successor by analyzing the male characters in the play, especially focusing on the father characters. This paper traces the hints of Macbeth having a complex of having no successor, unlike the other father figures in the play. I argue that these male characters who were comparatively neglected in the studies of masculinity take a role on stimulating Macbeth’s complex which drives him to unstoppable slaughters til he perishes at end of the play. In this paper, I discuss how Macbeth’s complex works in two ways: in personal level, having no successor to inherit power and in social level, being unable to physically bear a child as a male. In the first body part, I analyze how father figures such as Banquo, Macduff and Siward stimulate and fuel Macbeth’s complex which motivates his slaughters. In the second body part, I discuss how the prophesy that kills Macbeth, “No man born from a woman” reflects the collective male anxiety of being physically unable to bear a child by reading the text within the periodical context of perception toward women’s reproduction in the Early Modern Era.
