본 연구에서는 열 압착 공정을 이용하여 생고분자 가식성 FG 필름과 MG 필름을 제작하였고, 제조 공정 차이에 따른 필름의 형성, 표면 미세구조, 그리고 빛 투과도를 비교하기 위해 캐스팅 방법을 이용해서도 FG 필름을 제작하였다. 열 압착을 이용하여 FG와 MG로부터 연속적이고, 균일하며, 투명하고, 그리고 매끄러운 표면을 가진 필름을 제작할 수 있었다. 열 압착된 FG 필름은 열 압착된 MG 필름보다 빛 투과도와 인장 강도가 낮았으나, 육안 관찰 및 현미경을 이용한 표면 미세구조를 관찰 시 큰 차이를 확인할 수 없었으며, 수분 투과도와 필름의 명도 및 붉은 정도에서도 유의적인 차이가 보이지 않았다. 또한, 열 압착된 FG 필름이 캐스팅된 FG 필름보다 육안으로 보았을 때 더욱 투명하고 균일한 표면을 가진 것을 확인할 수 있었고, 투명도도 캐스팅된 FG 필름보다 높음을 알 수 있었다. 열 압착된 FG 필름이 캐스팅된 FG 필름보다 낮은 인장 강도와 높은 수분 차단 능력을 갖췄다. 열 압착된 FG 필름은 캐스팅된 FG 필름과 색도의 차이가 있었고, 캐스팅된 FG 필름보다 매끄럽고 균일한 표면 미세구조를 가진 것을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구의 결과는 열 압착 공정을 사용하는 산업적 생고분자 생산 시스템을 사용하여 우수한 수분 차단 능력을 갖춘 가식성 필름을 MG과 생선껍질로부터 얻어지는 FG을 이용해 제작할 수 있음을 보여주었다. In this study, edible films made of fish and mammalian gelatins were produced using heat pressing, and their physical properties were investigated. Transparent and smooth films were formed continuously and uniformly using a mixture of fish skin gelatin (FG) or mammalian gelatin (MG), glycerol, and water under the process of heat pressing at 90℃ and 20 MPa for 5 min. Heat-pressed FG films possessed lower light transmittance and tensile strength than heat-pressed MG films; however, their appearance, surface morphology, water vapor permeability, lightness, and redness were not different from those of heat-pressed MG films. Although heat-pressed FG films had lower tensile strength, they had a flatter and more uniform surfaces and demonstrated higher transparency and moisture barrier properties compared to the casted FG films. These results demonstrate the potential utility of heat pressing for the large-scale production of edible films using both FG and MG.

Most power plants have operated many independent computerize systems for maintenance. Independence of systems have caused complexity of business process and inconvenience of computer system management. Because the equipment and material master data is not standardize and structurize, it is difficult to manage equipment maintenance history and material delivery. Especially equipment classification criterion is important for standardization of every maintenance information. It is necessary to integrate function of independent systems for business process simplification and rapid work flow. this paper provides equipment classification criterion design and system integration method with the case of live system development.
경접형동 접근에 의한 뇌하수체 선종 제거술 후 발생한 지연성 저나트륨혈증 : 임상 연구

Objective:Delayed hyponatremia is a common complication after transsphenoidal surgery (TSS) for pituitary adenomas. We retrospectively evaluated our patients and tried to find possible associated risk factors of delayed hyponatremia. Methods:From 2006 until 2010, total 575 cases of pituitary adenomas were operated with TSS in a single institution. Thirtyone patients (5.3%) with delayed hyponatremia were compared to other 544 patients without delayed hyponatremia in the aspects of age, sex, Hardy classification, tumor size, hormonal type and activity on preoperative combined pituitary function test. Their postoperative outcomes were also evaluated in the aspects of tumor removal fashion and hormonal outcome on postoperative combined pituitary function test. Results:In 31 patients, delayed hyponatremia started 7.0 days after surgery (range : postoperative day 3-10). At the time of diagnosis of hyponatremia, serum level of sodium ranged from 111 mmol/L to 132 mmol/L (mean : 120.5 mmol/L) and mean duration of treatment was 4.l days (range : 2-9 days). Piecemeal tumor removal was more frequent in a group with delayed hyponatremia (p=0.035). The presence of postoperative hypopituitarism and aggravation of pituitary function were observed more frequently in a group with delayed hyponatremia (p=0.002 and p=0.017, respectively). Conclusion:Delayed hyponatremia is a common complication after TSS and potentially fatal. Piecemeal fashioned tumor removal, postoperative hypopituitarism and aggravation of pituitary function are associated with higher chance of delayed hyponatremia.

Background : Brainstem cavernous malformation (BSCM) is a rare pathology that causes repeated bleeding in the brainstem. The anatomical complexity of the brainstem and high surgical morbidity and mortality rates make surgery difficult. Several authors have shared their experience of surgical removal of BSCM. Methods : Patients diagnosed with BSCM in single institution from 2006 to 2017 were investigated retrospectively. A modified Rankin scale (mRS) was used to assess patients’ neurological status. During surgery, neuronavigation and neuromonitoring were used. Results : The total number of 16 patients were reviewed. The telovelar approach was used most frequently (7 times). mRS on admission versus mRS at last follow up (p = 0.008) and mRS at immediate postoperative versus mRS at last follow-up showed significant difference (p = 0.001). Postoperative neurological deteriorations were noticed in 8 of 16 patients. Neurological outcomes were improved after more than 6 months later during follow up periods. Conclusions : In this study, neurological status may be deteriorated in immediate postoperative but neurological status will be better when followed up for more than 6 months. Surgical techniques and equipment such as high-resolution magnetic resonance imaging, diffusion tensor imaging, 3-dimensional modeling, neuronavigation, and neuromonitoring help surgery of BSCM. So BSCM should be surgically treated in active stance.
례Olfactory Ensheathing Cell Tumor: A Case Report

We report a rare case of an olfactory ensheathing cell (OEC) tumor with literature review. A 48-year-old man presented after experiencing two episodes of generalized seizures. Brain imaging showed a well-enhanced solid mass with a cystic component in the anterior cranial fossa. However, the patient did not report anosmia. The mass was totally removed through bi-frontal craniotomy. Histopathological examination showed that the mass consisted of whorling spindle cells with Antoni type A and Antoni type B cellular patterns. The immunohistochemical stain was strongly positive for S-100 protein and negative for epithelial membrane antigen and Leu-7. The final diagnosis was OEC tumor.
임상 : 발생하수술 전 잘못 진단되었던 뇌하수체 선종과 터키안결절 뇌수막종 환자들의 영상학적 소견과 임상 양상에 관한 분석

Objectives:Preoperative differentiation of the histologic etiology of masses involving the sellar and suprasellar region is very important because it determines the treatment modalities, surgical approaches, and the degree of resection. We ana-lyze the imaging findings and clinical symptoms of pituitary adenomas and tuberculum sellae meningiomas which preop-eratively diagnosed as each other falsely. Patients and Methods:Preoperative magnetic resonance images (MRI) and angiography findings of 14 patients with pathologically diagnosed as pituitary adenomas or tuberculum sellae meningioma which considered as each other were reviewed retrospectively. For all patients, the clinical history, laboratory data, MRI and results of ophthalmological ex-aminations were retrospectively reviewed. The following features, usually accepted as useful criteria in the differential diagnosis of these lesion were reviewed; Clinical Symptoms, hormonal deficiency, visibility of pituitary stalk, pattern of enhancement, presence of dural tail sign, presence of tumor brushing on the angiographic findings. Results:All findings except angiographic tumor brushing, were not consistent with each other. All patients presented with visual field defect and have no hormonal deficiency or symptoms. All lesions showed dura based one, no cleavage plane from the pituitary gland or stalk may be due to its large size, and homogeneous enhancement. There was no case of angi-ographic tumor brushing in pituitary adenoma patients. Conclusion:Differentiating pituitary adenoma and tuberculum sellae meningioma can be difficult. MRI is the most com-monly used method for diagnosis in these lesions. However, it is not sufficient for differential diagnosis for these lesions sometimes. Our results shows angiography finding could be a help to differentiate two pathologies. Preoperative cautious evaluation is essential and we think that angiography could be considered to differentiate two lesions.
