Malignant fibrous histiocytoma is the most common soft tissue sarcoma of late adult life, but it is rare in the pleura. We recently experienced a case of cytology of malignant fibrous histiocytoma in plural fluid. The smear revealed histiocytic malignant cells, spindle malignant cells and inflammatory cells. The histiocytic cells showed abundant, pale cytoplasm and ovoid, irregular eccentrically-placed nuclei. The spindle cells showed elongated nuclei. Intercellular collagen was also present.

법의인류학 감정을 위한 머리뼈골절의 형태 분석 및 도구 추정

법의인류학 감정의 목적은 체질인류학 자료를 응용하여 백골시신의 신원확인에 도움을 주는 개인식별 항목을 알아내는 것뿐만 아니라 사망의 원인과 종류를 추정하여 죽음의 과정을 법의학적으로 재구성하는 것이다. 이 연구의 목적은 부검을 통해 사망의 종류가 외인사이면서 사망의 원인이 머리뼈골절로 감정된 사례를 모아 골절의 형태학적 분석, 해부학적 위치 및 추정 가능한 도구에 대하여 후향적으로 분석함으로써 백골시신의 머리뼈골절에 대한 법의인류학적 분석에 도움을 주는 근거자료를 제시하는 것이다. 머리손상을 일으킨 도구의 유형으로는 둔기가 69건 중 60건으로 전체의 약 87.0%에 해당하였으며, 이 중에서도 망치(31.7%)와 야구방망이(16.7%)가 둔력손상의 절반에 가까운 빈도를 차지하였다. 대부분의 도구에서 선골절이 나타났고, 거미줄모양골절과 함몰골절을 일으키는 가장 흔한 도구는 망치였으며, 분쇄골절은 비교적 중량감이 나가는 도구들이 주로 관련되었다. 또한 카이제곱검증을 시행한 결과 머리뼈골절의 유형에 따라 유발한 도구의 종류가 서로 다른 것을 알 수 있었다(χ²=103.817, P<0.001). 이 연구를 통하여 백골시신 사망의 원인과 종류를 추정하는 데 도움을 주는 법의인류학 자료를 마련할 수 있었고, 머리뼈골절의 발생기전 및 사후변성학에 대한 추가적인 체질인류학 연구설정을 제시할 수 있었다. The role of forensic anthropology is to reconstruct the process of individual death by predicting the cause and manner of death as well as to find out biological profiles of unknown skeletal remains based on the data of physical anthropology. The purpose of this study is to suggest the data of decision-making process for cranial fractures and its related weapons of skeletal remains from the forensic fields. A hammer (31.7%) and baseball bat (16.7%) represented almost half of the blunt type of weapon used in the cranial fracture. The linear fracture was caused by most of weapons, the spider’s web and depressed fracture by the hammer, and the comminuted fracture by the heavy tools such as maul, wrench, etc as well as the hammer. By the chi-square test, there were significant differences between fracture patterns and types of weapon that it was helpful to estimate the weapon of cranial fracture for forensic anthropological decisions. Conclusively, we could prepare the priority order of estimating cause and manner of death in the case of cranial fracture for the forensic context and suggest research design of physical anthropology about osteological biomechanics and taphonomy relating cranial fractures.

본 연구는 노무현 대통령 탄핵 사건을 통해 위기를 맞이한 한나라당과 민주당의 위기 상황을 살펴봄으로써 정당별 위기관리의 특징을 살펴보았다. 정당의 위기관리를 위해 각 정당이 사용하는 이미지 회복 전략의 모습을 베노이트(Benoit)의 수사학적인 이미지 회복 전략의 틀로서 분석했다. 그 결과 한나라당과 민주당 모두 비난자 공격을 주로 시용하는 전략을 사용하였으나 위기관리에 성공한 한나라당과 실패한 민주당은 이미지 회복 전략상 차이를 보여줬다. 위기관리에 성공을 거둔 한나라당의 경우 비난자 공격 전략을 주로 사용하다가 미래 지향 전략으로 선회하였다. 따라서 위기관리에 성공한 야당과 실패한 야당을 비교분석함으로써 위기에 대한 책임이 높은 조직은 미래 지향적인 전략을 사용하는 것이 바람직하다는 쿰즈(Coombs)의 이론을 뒷받침할만한 모습을 한나라당의 이미지 회복 전략에서 살필 수 있었다. This study examined image restoration strategies of political parties regarding the Presidential impeachment in Korea. The analytic framework of this study was Benoit's rhetorical theory of image restoration strategies. Results showed that both Hanara Party and Minju Party used attack accuser as a major image restoration strategy. However, Hanara Party changed their strategies from attack accuser to future oriented. Thus, Hanara Party's image restoration strategy successfully applied Coombs theory, which future oriented strategy was good for an organization of the high responsibility in the context of crisis situation.

To evalute the most effective media for human IVF-ET, this experiment which investigated effects of media, protein supplement together with different potassium(K') concentration on two-cell mouse embryos was done. The embryos of the ICR mouse showed higher expanded blastocyst rates in Biggers-Whitten-Whittin-gham(BWW) than Ham's F-10 and m-KRB. Embryos developed more effectively with BSA supplement with no difference between BWW containing 1.19mM and 5.97mM K' on development of mouse embryo, however higher K' concentrations did significantly supress the embryo development in a dose-dependent fashion.

The CIO(Chief Information Officer) is a manager who takes care of the business strategies of information technologies in organizations. Because of the importance of IT,, many organizations have recently adopted the CIO systems. However no objective criteria of the evaluation of CIO systems prevents the wide spread of this systems. We suggest two models to solve this problems: one is evaluation model of the CIO systems in the organizations and the other is the evolution model of the development of CIO systems. The evaluation model consists of three parts; Business, IT, and CIO's personal quality part. The evolutionary model consists of three steps; Level 1 is the IT Expert step, Level 2 is the IT Strategist step, and Level 3 is the Business Leader step. In this paper, organization is classified into two groups by two ways. One is the service industry organizations and the non-service industry organizations and the other way is the CIO-adopted organizations and the non CIO-adopted organizations.
