        함초 첨가 거품형 찜케이크의 재료 혼합비율의 최적화

        To obtain basic data for the utilization of saltwort (Salicornia herbacea L.) as a functional ingredient in steamed foam cake, the optimum component ratios for major raw ingredients (saltwort, salt, and wheat flour) as independent variables that affect the product quality were scientifically determined using RSM (response surface methodology) technique. A three-factor and five-level rotational central composite design was used for treatment arrangement. The complete design consisted of 16 experimental points. The three independent variables selected for the RSM experiment were amounts of saltwort (X1, 5~25 g), salt (X2, 0~10 g), and wheat flour (X3, 470~530 g). The optimum responses in specific gravity of the batter and volume, color, texture, and sensory evaluation result of the cake were obtained. The specific gravity and viscosity of the batter at p<0.01 was verified from the regression curve. The characteristic of the batter was influenced by all independent variables, but was extremely dependent on the amount of saltwort ordinary points of the surface responses from the batter formed the minimum points for specific gravities of the batter while viscosities of the batter appeared with the saddle points. Analysis of the response indicated that the amount of saltwort was the most influential factor over the physical properties of the cake, among the dependent variables. Ordinary points of the surface responses from the cake formed the maximum points for loaf volume, hardness gumminess, and chewiness, while Hunter colorimetric parameters appeared with the saddle points. The result indicated that level of the saltwort deviating more or less from the optimal amount decreased the volume and increased the specific gravity with less tender product. Ordinary points of the surface responses of the sensory evaluation scores from the cake formed the maximum points for appearance, flavor, softness, and overall acceptability, while color values appeared with the saddle points. The result also indicated that the level of the saltwort deviating more or less from the optimal amount reduced the preference for the product. Integration of the optimum responses common to all dependent variables that overlapped all the contour maps finally indicated that the combination of 8.3~13.8 g saltwort, 2.5~6.6 g salt, and 486.5~511.5 g wheat flour under the selected preparation recipe optimized the physical and sensory properties in the teamed foam cakes. Practical preparation of the product with median amounts of the ingredients, i.e., 11.0 g saltwort, 4.6 g salt, and 499.0 g wheat flour resulted in similar qualities to the predicted responses. In conclusion, these study results indicated that preparation of steamed foam cake with added saltwort ingredient could potentially produce a more nutritious product with less salt. Further research is required to acquire the optimum levels for sub-ingredients to improve the product quality.

        우리나라 청소년의 흡연 경험과 인터넷 중독과의 관련성

        청소년기의 흡연은 음주, 약물남용 등의 다른 건강위험행태로의 관문역할을 할 뿐 아니라 성인기의 생활습관으로 이어져 일평생의 건강을 위협 할 잠재적 요소를 내포하고 있다. 본 연구는 우리나라 중 고등학고 남녀학생을 대상으로 흡연 경험과 인터넷 중독과의 관계를 알아보고자 한다. 2009년 우리나라 중학생 38,409명, 고등학생 36,657명 총 75,066명을 대상으로 조사되었다. 흡연경험 여부와 인터넷 중독 여부는 빈도분석과 카이제곱 검정을 하였고 흡연경험과 인터넷 중독과의 관계는 로지스틱회귀분석을 실시하였다. 통계적 유의성은 0.05 미만으로 하였다. 대상자의 흡연경험은 남학생이 34.2%, 여학생은 19.7%로 나타났고 인터넷 중독은 남학생이 17.6%, 여학생이 11.4%로 조사되었으며, 흡연경험 있는 남학생이 흡연경험 없는 학생의 1.06배 여학생은 흡연경험 있는 학생이 없는 학생보다 1.62배 유의하게 높았다. 본 연구 결과는 부정적인 건강생활습관인 흡연경험이 인터넷 중독 경향에 유의하게 관련되어 있으며, 흡연경험이 비흡연경험에 비해 높은 스트레스를 갖고 있고, 이러한 스트레스가 인터넷 중독으로 발전해 가는 경향을 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 그러므로 청소년기의 흡연행위와 컴퓨터 중독은 청소년기의 위험행동으로 서로 영향을 미치고 있으므로 각각의 행위에 대한 개별적인 예방과 치료를 하기보다는 흡연과 스트레스, 인터넷 중독을 복합적인 건강위험행위로 보아 대책을 종합적으로 강구해야 할 것이라 사료된다. Smoking in adolescence can cause other health risks such as drinking and abusing drugs. Besides, it goes on adulthood so it can threaten their health all days. This study want to know the relationship between smoking and internet addiction in mid- and highschool students in Korea. It conducted for 38,409 middle school students and 36,657 highschool student in Korea. Smoking and internet addiction was investigated by chi-squared test and the relation between them was done by a Logistic Regression Analysis. The statistical significance is under 0.05. The percentage of smoking is 34.2% in male student and 19.7% in female student. The percentage of internet addiction is 17.6% in male student and 11.4% in female student and it is higher in students who smoked by 1.06 times for male student and 1.62 times for female student. This result shows that smoking which is non-healthy habit is related with internet addiction significantly. Smoking can cause high stress and this stress is shown to be developed in internet addiction. In conclusion, smoking and internet addiction in adolescence are bad habits and they are affect each other. Therefore we have to consider a measure by looking as smoking, stress and internet addiction are complex health risks rather than trying to prevent and treat them individually.

        우리나라 청소년의 수면시간 및 질과 체질량지수와의 관련성

        Purpose: This study aims to discover the relation between the sleep duration and quality of adolescents and their body mass index. Methods: The study used data obtained through the 2009 online survey on adolescents health behaviors, targeting a total of 75,066 middle and high school students (39,612 of male students and 35,454 of female students). We first performed t-test, ANOVA and Scheffe's test and then the potential variables which was possibly related to the body mass index are determined from the tests. Using the potential variable, we performed the multiple regression analysis to finally identify the relation between the duration and quality of sleep. Results: As a result, the 39.8% of male students and the 46.5% of female students most frequently respond that the sleep duration was less than 6 hours, and 36.4% of male students and the 45.3% of female students respond that the quality of sleep was not good enough. The body mass index of both the male and the female students portionally decreases to their sleep duration, but the better quality of sleep makes their body mass index higher. Conclusion: In conclusion, the body mass index has some notable relationship with the sleep duration and quality for adolescents. It is advised to consider the sleep duration and quality in the business plans for adolescents in order for the prevention of their body mass index.

        정상 젊은 성인에서 도파민 DRD2/ANKK1 Taq 1a 유전자다형성에 따른 우측 미상핵 용적의 차이

        Objectives The aim of this study was to assess variations in caudate volume according to dopamin receptor D2/ankyin repeat and kinase domain containing 1 (DRD2/ANKK1) Taq 1a polymorphisms in young healthy adults and to evaluate the relationship between caudate volumes and psychiatric symptoms as measured by the Brief Psychiatric Rating Scale. Methods Genetic information regarding DRD2/ANKK1 Taq 1a and T1-weighted brain magnetic resonance images were acquired from 30 young healthy adults. Automatic segmentation of caudate was performed using the FreeSurfer program. Results Individuals with A2 homozygotes of DRD2/ANKK1 Taq 1a polymorphisms (n = 10) had greater right caudate volumes compared to those with A1 allele (s)(18.4% greater ; p = 0.019). Right caudate volumes were negatively associated with total scores of the Brief Psychiatric Rating Scale (${\beta}$=-0.50 ; p = 0.016). Conclusions Our findings suggest the possibility that DRD2/ANKK1 Taq 1a polymorphisms may underlie the psychiatric symptoms by influencing the structure of the right caudate.

      • 피부관리를 위한 전류기기 접근에 대한 고찰

        이 연구는 깨풀이 구강암 세포주에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 알아보았다. 구강암 세포주의 KB세포에 깨풀의 열수추출물과 메탄올 추출물을 주사 후 세포의 사멸을 조사하였다. 실험은 MTS 분석과 Western Blot 분석으로 실시하였다. 실험 결과는 깨풀의 열수추출물은 세포의 사멸에 아무런 영향이 없었다. 그러나 메탄올 추출물은 세포가 사멸하는 영향을 보였다. 메탄올 추출물 농도 50, 100, 125, 150, 200, 250, 500㎍ / ㎖에서 24시간 후 95%, 57%, 53%, 52%, 30%, 28%, 9%, 48시간 후 87%, 51%, 35%, 32%, 25%, 15%, 5%, 72 시간 후 72%, 48%, 29%, 20%, 12%, 10%, 4%의 세포 생존율을 보였다. 본 연구 결과 깨풀의 메탄올 추출물이 구강암 치료제로 그 가능성을 보였다. 깨풀의 메탄올 추출물은 암치료을 위한 화학요법보다 훨씬 적은 부작용을 갖기 때문에 이 연구는 구강암 치료의 개발에 많은 중요성을 갖는다고 사료된다. This research conducts how Acalypha Australis effects an oral cancer cell line. A result of cell death was occurring after an injection of hot water extract and methanol extract of Acalypha Australis to the KB Cell in an oral cancel cell line. These cell death analysis were conducted by MTS Assay, Western Blot Analysis. In results, hot water extract of Acalypha Australis had no influence in cell deaths. However, the methanol extract did. It was disposed in concentrated amounts of 50, 100, 125, 150, 200, 250, 500㎍/㎖. The results of the cancer cell deaths were as follows: after 24 hours - 95%, 57%, 53%, 52%, 30%, 28%, 9%, after48 hours - 87%, 51%, 35%, 32%, 25%, 15%, 5%, and after 72 hours - 72%, 48%, 29%, 20%, 12%, 10%, 4%. This study suggests that the methanol extract of Acalypha Australis can control the possibilities of curing oral cancer. This significant study holds much importance in a development of oral cancer treatment because the methanol extract of Acalypha Australis has much less side effects than chemotherapy for cancer treatment.

        복수암 생쥐에 대한 발효녹용의 항암작용

        Some components and antitumor effect of antler and fermented antler with Bacillus P-92 were determined. By fermenting the antler with Bacillus P-92, the amount of free amino acids, polypeptides and other compounds were increased. The free amino acid of the fermented antler was 6-fold higher than those of the untreated antler. Sarcoma 180 cells were intraperitoneally implanted into ICR mice to determine the effect of fermented antler and untreated antler on life span prolongation. The life span of ICR mouse treated with antler and fermented antler were prolonged to 24.4% and 39.2%(p<0.05), and survival rates were 22% and 33%, respectively. In addition, the induction of neutrophil was 2.3-fold and 3.4-fold, respectively.
