      • Retinoic Acid가 양서류난의 체절 형성에 미치는 영향

        척추동물의 초기 발생에 관여하는 물질로 알려져 있는 retinoic acid(RA)를 Xenopus 배(embryo)에 처리한 결과, 체절의 형성에 이상 발생이 나타났다 즉 낭배 초기에 RA에 노출된 개체의 체절은 대조군의 화살머리 모양((((() 대신 기등 모양(1111)을 형성하고 있었으며, 고농도일수록 직선에 가까운 모습을 하고 있었다. 신경배 시기에 노출된 개체의 체절은 정상적인 분절이 이루어지지 않았으며, 이들 이상 체질의 위치는 처리 시기에 따라 다르게 나타났으나 농도에는 영향을 받지 않았다. 그러나 분절 과정중 일어나는 체절 세포들의 회전은 RA에 의해 억제되지 않았다. 이와 같은 결과는 체절의 형성에 분절 이전의 세포의 행동을 주도하는 프로그램과 분절을 주도하는 프로그램이 분리되어 있음을 암시한다. 한 가지 특이한 사항은 열처리 등으로 유발된 혼란이 수 개의 체절에 국한되어 나타나는 점과는 달리 RA의 처리는 어느 지점 이 후부터 모든 체절에 혼란을 야기시킨다는 점이다. 이와 같은 연속적인 분절의 흔란 현상은 RA가 다른 저해제에 의해 영향을 받는 유전자의 활동을 조절하는 전 단계의 유전자에 영향을 주기 때문인 것으로 사료된다. 또한 신경배 시기에 RA에 노출된 배의 a-cardiac actin은 정상적으로 발현되는데 비해 낭배 초기에 RA에 노출된 배는 감소된 양의 a-cardiac actin myNA의 축적을 보였다. 그러나 EFI-u은 RA의 처리 시기와는 무관하게 정상적으로 발현되었다.

        피터르 브뤼헐의 <아이들 놀이 Kinderspiele>(1560)에 나타난 ‘놀이’의 도상 연구

        About 250 children playing 91 plays are pictured in Pieter Bruegel the Elder (1527-1569)’s kinderspiele (1560) which was painted when he was in Antwerpen. This paper aim to examine the social and cultural backdrops in which the ‘children’s games’ was introduced as a subject of painting in the late 16th century, and to investigate the characteristics of the plays by categorizing the plays according to several points of view. And finally, discourses regarding interpretations about the meaning of play images in kinderspiele is briefly discussed. The plays in Bruegel’s can be classified by month or season, by stage of life, and by the use of children’s toys or instruments. And according to Roger Caillois’s Agon, Alea, mimicry, and Ilinx, the plays in kinderspiele can be categorized. There also are classifications for each images of kinderspiele based on whether it is individual or grouped, depending on gender. There were interpretations of kinderspiele viewed from various perspective. One of those argues that it is ‘a visual encyclopedia of plays’. There also are a point of view maintaining that it is an emblematic interpretation of season and stages of life. Some insist that kinderspiele is a kind of ‘theatrum vitae humanae’ or ‘theatrum mundi’. And theories maintaining that kinderspiele were ‘miniatures of adult’s various activities’ or ‘reflections of adult’s world’ were also suggested. The results of iconology which was deepened and came to fruition in the 20th century tended to provide ample and useful frame of interpretation for understanding the essence of Bruegel’s works. And the attitudes of the art critics who were based there views on it seemed to have preponderant tendency to find out emblematic symbolism from kinderspiele. It is true that the emblematic interpretations of play images prepared the clear and systematic frame of understanding about Bruegel’s works. But some critical alternatives were also suggested with conceivable reasons arguing that if we consider the dynamic and transitional characteristic of the Northern Renaissance and abundant openness of meaning of Bruegel’s works. Critical view repeatedly and unquestioningly accepted assumptions of such frame of interpretation suggested by emblematic theories might results in fallacies. ‘Children’s games’ are human contraption intended for social, cultural accommodation of man to his society and also those are a physical expression of ontological existence of man. In this context, as art is an effective tool which communicates human essence mediated in plays, understanding plays represented in art works valuable approach to broaden the horizon of meaning that dwells in play.

        일부 외국인 근로자의 불안요인 및 불안정도

        This study was designed to determine anxiety factors and levels of anxiety of foreign industrial workers One hundred and seventy five workers were researched who were working in Gum Working Complex. Ansan City and Sungnam City Working Complex asking 60 questionnaires from Feb. 25, 1996 to April 12, 1996. The results were as follows 1. The 30.3% of foreign workers were from Nepal, 17.7% from Bangladesh 10.9% from Srilanka. 14.9% from Philippines, 1.1% from Ghana. 80% of foreign workers were male. 77.7% were single and most of then were in the age from 25 to 34. 37.1% o foreign workers had not lived in Korea less than 12 months, 58.8% graduated fro college, 33.7% from highschool, and more than half lived in a dormitory. 2. On the anxiety level related to subject workers general characteristics, the workers level from Nepal recorded the highest point 2.70 statistically showing a significant difference(P 0.0003). On the physical anxiety level, the workers from Nepal recorded a significantly low point comparing with Jamaica, Burma. Vietnam and Nigeria(P0.01). 3. Emotional anxiety level marked the highest on the workers living as a tenant comparing with the workers in dormitory. 4. On anxiety factors, the emotional anxiety recoded the highest, the social anxiety and the somatic anxiety. 5. On the relation between the anxiety factor, the somatic anxiety factor had a relation with emotional, environmental, and occupational factors and on the other relation between the anxiety factor and emotional factor had a relation with environmental, social, cultural factors. Moreover, the environmental factor had a relation with the cultural factor, social factor had a relation with the cultural factor, and cultural factor was related to the occupational factor.

        빛의 간섭 현상에 대한 영의 귀추적 사고와 물리교육적 함의

        In this research, Young's abductive reasoning in hypothesis formulation process for explaining light interference phenomena is analyzed and implications for secondary school science education are proposed. Young began to recognize the wave property of light by comparing similarities between sound and light. He formulated the first and the final hypothesis explaining light interference through analogical reasoning between light and sound superposition and water wave interference. His thinking process implies the importance of analogical reasoning and abduction for teaching scientific creativity. A process model using his thinking process for teaching hypothesis formulation in secondary-school physics education is suggested. 본 연구에서는 빛의 간섭 현상에 대한 가설 형성과정에서 보인 Young의 귀추 과정을 분석하고, 이로부터 중등학교 물리교육에서의 가설 형성 능력 향상을 위한 교육적 시사점을 도출하였다. Young은 소리와 빛의 유사성 인식으로부터 출발하여 빛의 파동성을 주장해 나갔으며, 소리에서의 맥놀이 현상으로부터 비유 추론하여 빛의 간섭 현상을 위한 설명 가설을 만들었다. 그 후 물결파에서의 간섭 현상으로부터 귀추하여 빛의 간섭 현상에 대한 수정된 설명가설을 형성하였고, 결정적 실험인 빛의 이중슬릿 실험을 고안하여 빛의 간섭 현상을 빛의 파동론으로 증명하였다. 이 과정은 비유추론이 과학적 창의성에서 매우 중요함을 보여주었으며, Young의 귀추적 사고 과정을 적절히 모형화 하면 중등학교 물리교육에 유용하게 활용할 수 있음을 시사해 준다.

        만성관절염 환자의 �嶽�만족도에 관한 연구

        This study is descriptive research clarifying the relations between physical inconvenience, social aptitude and sense of satisfaction in life of the chronic arthritis patients. This research has been conducted from 115 patients by structured self-reporting questionnaires and direct interview of the adult patients over the age of 16 years old who had been under treatment in 3 University hospitals in Seoul from Oct.4, 1996 through Oct. 24, 1996 for 20 days. The collected materials have been under t-test and F-test(ANOVA) per variables after computerizing using SPSS package and the correlation between various causes was conducted by pearson's correlation coefficient method. The results are as the follows : 1) Generally the age of starting the disease was 40-60 with 91 in female (79.0%) and male 88(76.5%), the persons who had the religion showed the high rate of being taken ill and the persons with ever high school education have fallen ill by 46.1%. The monthly income has shown that 77.5% was over 1,000,000Won or over, the periods of the disease in average was 4 years 3 months showing it was the chronic disease, the degree of recognizing the disease was 19.0%, spouse and children were most concerned about their disease and the part of joint attacked was knee(73.0%), wrist (43.5%) and others which showed that they have been very inconvenient in daily life. 2) The variables affecting to physical inconvenience were by age(F=9.06, p=.000), education level(F=7.14, p=000), economic standards (F=2.18, p=.05), the period of disease(F=3.09, p=.03), hospitalized or not (F=3.23, p=.002), showing such correlation. 3) The variables affecting to the social adaptation were by age (F=3.47, p=.018), education level (F=4.98, p=.001), periods of taken ill(F=419, p=.007), hospitalized or not (F=3.23, p-,004) and the operation or not (F= 1.30, p=.028) showing such correlation. 4) The variables affecting to life satisfaction were by sex(t=2.08, p=.045), economic status(F=3.15, p=.01) being able to explain statistically. Though the above correlations, they are required to receive self-management education positively to elevate the effect of rehabilitation treatment and effective nursing arbitration and also they required to be reduced physical inconvenience at the early stage and be helped to be able to lead the duality life in satisfaction by elevating the diverse adaptation to thesociety by correcting the transformed joint.

        물결파의 간섭 현상에 대한 중학생들의 설명 가설 생성을 위한 비유추론 비계 전략의 효과

        The purpose of this study is to investigate the process of development of explanatory hypothesis being generated by middle school students and the factors that affect the process in water wave interference phenomena by analogy scaffolding. For this purpose, the processes on how explanatory hypotheses were generated, revised, and then elaborated by analogy scaffolding were investigated and analyzed. The subjects for the study were 60 eighth grades students in one middle school divided into 12 groups according to their cognitive level measured by GALT. The research findings are as follows: First, it was found that there is a regular pattern in development of explanatory hypothesis by students about water wave phenomenon; second, the cognitive level of the student affected apparently on the students’ hypothesis development process, however, it was also observed that students with inferior cognitive level could form a scientific explanatory hypothesis in the second stage of the scaffolding; third, the analogy scaffolding actually helped the students in formulating hypothesis. In conclusion, analogical reasoning can be a meaningful and powerful strategy for secondary school students to formulate explanatory hypothesis. 이 연구의 목적은 물결파의 간섭 현상에 대해 학생들에 의해 생성 되는 설명 가설의 발달 과정과 그 과정에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 조사하는 것이다. 비유 추론 비계 과정을 활용했을 때 학생들에 의해 설명 가설이 어떻게 생성되고, 수정되고, 정교화되어 가는지를 조사 하고 분석하였다. 연구 대상 학생들은 B 광역시의 한 개 중학교에서 표집한 2개 학급 60명이며, 이 학생들을 인지 수준에 따라 12개 조로 소집단 편성하여 활동하도록 하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 물결파 현상에 대한 설명 가설의 발달 과정에 어떤 패턴이 있음을 발견하였다. 둘째, 가설의 발달 과정에서 학생의 인지수준의 영향이 분명히 나타났지만, 적절한 비계 전략에 의해 인지수준이 낮은 학생도 설명가설을 형성할 수 있음을 보였다. 셋째, 비유 추론을 활용한 비계 전략은 학생들이 가설을 형성하는 데 실제적인 도움을 주었다. 결론적으로 비유 추론은 중등학교 학생들이 가설을 형성하도록 하는 학습과정에 의미 있는 도구가 될 수 있다.
