The purpose of this study was to determine the body cathexis and clothing satisfaction of the 20-29 year old women. Body cathexis was measured by Second and Jourard's Body Cathexis Scale and clothing satisfaction was measured by Mclean's Clothing Satisfaction Scale. The questionnaires were administered to a sample of women (20-29 years old) in Kwangju from June 10 to 30, 1983. The data of 299 respondents were analyzed by descriptive data, correlation, and t-tests. The results were; 1. A non-significant relationship was found in body cathexis scores between the early 20 year old women (20-24 years old) and the advanced 20 year old women(25-29 years old). The mean score of body cathexis of the subjects was 131.01 (60.93)a. 2. “General”, “Fit”, “Appearance”, “Performance”, “Acquisition”, and “Clothing Satisfaction Total” were where non-significant relationships were found between the early 20 year old women and the advanced 20 year old women. The mean score of “General” was 38.02(69.13)a. “Fit” was 39.93(57.04)a, “Appearance” was 22.72(64.92)a, “Acquisition” was 19.60(56.00)a, and “Clothing Satisfaction Total” was 174.23(62.22)a. “Fabric” was the only category that a significant relationship was found between the early 20 year old women and the advanced 20 year old women. The early 20 year old women were more satisfied with fabric of garments than the advanced 20 year old women. 3. The six categories of clothing satisfaction and the clothing satisfaction total were highly related with body cathexis scores. 4. “Fit”, “Appearance”, and “General” were considered as the three most important aspects of clothing satisfaction by a majoriety of women in this study. 식물조직배양(植物組織培養)은 1930년대에 White, Goutheret등에 의해 기초가 세워졌고 1950∼60년대에는 비약적 발전을 하여 요즈음은 생리학, 생화학, 세포학등 순수과학과 농학, 약학, 우주학, 면역학등 응용과학분야에서 연구의 중요한 수단으로 등장되고 있다. 현재 세계적으로 큰 관심 속에 활발히 연구가 되고 있으나, 우리나라는 아직 이 분야의 연구가 널리 알려져 있지 않아 식물조직배양 전반에 관하여 설명하고, 실제 많이 이용되고 있는 양란의 생장점배양법을 소개하려 한다. 본 원고가 나올 수 있도록 여러면에서 도움을 주신 한국원자력연구소 방사선 육종학실 한창렬박사님께 감사드립니다.

전통시장 활성화 인식도에 관한 연구 - 전통시장 상인의 경영활성화 교육 참여 여부를 중심으로 -

This study aimed to provide insight into methods for activating management of traditional markets by understandingdifferences in merchant perception according to whether or not the merchant has participated in management activationeducation. Analysis of merchants’ levels of perception of market activation found that educated merchants had a higherperception of pre-post modernization satisfaction, promotion of traditional market revitalization projects, and post-supportchanges in sales. In a co-marketing context, educated merchants showed significant differences in onnuri gift certificates,bargain sales, festivals and events, and advertisement promotions. With regards to perception of managementperformances, educated merchants showed statistically significant higher responses for items such as satisfaction with thecurrent vendor, increased sales, and increased customer awareness. The results in this study may be incorporated into thepolicy-making processes of the government or local governments in order to revitalize traditional markets, and merchanteducation for activation of management is deemed to be continuously necessary.

Studies on Dermal and Ocular Irritation of Prodigiosin Isolated from Zooshikella rubidus

This study was carried out to investigate the irritation of the prodigiosin isolated from Zooshikellarubidus on the skin and eyes in New Zealand white rabbits. The tests were performed on the basisof Korea Food and Drug Administration (KFDA) guidelines. Prodigiosin induced severe eye irritationat high concentration (0.5 g/site/ml) but there was no eye irritation at low concentration (0.3 mg/site/ml). The primary irritation index was calculated from higher concentration (0.5 g/site/ml) to lower concentration(0.3 mg/site/ml). There were found non-irritation or induced mild irritation at lower concentrationof prodigiosin application. On the basis of this study, it could be concluded that theprodigiosin may be non-irritant to mild irritant of usual application at lower concentration (0.3 mg/site)resulting it is safe and useful in dyeing technology of fabrics.

만성질환 노인의 통증이 기억기능, 일상신체활동, 수면장애에미치는 영향: 우울을 매개로 한 경우

Purpose: The present study was done to examine the role of depression as a mediator of the effect of pain severityon memory function, physical function and sleep disturbance in older adults with chronic disease. Methods: Theparticipants were 158 older adults with chronic disease who were living at home. All participants completed structuredsymptom questionnaires. Data were analysed with the SPSS program, using descriptive statistics and regressionanalysis. Results: Mediation analysis suggested that pain severity influences sleep disturbance directlyas well as indirectly by its effect on depression. The ratio for sleep disturbance affected by pain severity directlywas 72.7% and for sleep disturbance affected by pain severity via depression indirectly, 27.3%. Conclusion: Theseresults indicate that effect of pain severity on sleep disturbance is mediated by depression. Pain severity affectedsleep disturbance directly as well. These findings suggest clinical intervention opportunities that include strategiesto improve depression for better pain control which in turn will result in reduced sleep disturbance.

Mini Mental Status Examination-K1 인지영역 측정치 분석 : 연령, 교육수준, 성별의 영향

본 연구는 인지기능의 다양한 측면을 간단하게 평가할 수있는 MMSE-K1의 인지영역별 측정치에 대한 연령, 교육수준, 성별의 영향을 분석하여, 중장년 또는 노인의 치매평가가필요한 임상과 연구에 유용한 도구로 사용될 수 있도록 하는것이 목적이다. 구체적인 목적은 다음과 같다. * 대상자의 연령, 교육수준, 성별을 파악한다. * 대상자의 연령, 교육수준, 성별의 상관관계를 파악한다. * 대상자의 연령, 교육수준, 성별과 MMSE-K1의 인지영역별 측정치간의 일반상관관계을 파악한다. 그리고 교육과성별, 연령과 성별, 연령과 교육수준을 각각 통제한 상태에서 연령, 교육수준, 성별과 MMSE-K1의 인지영역별측정치간의 부분상관관계를 파악한다. * 연령, 교육수준, 성별의 MMSE-K1의 각 인지영역 측정치에 대한 설명력을 파악한다.
