        The study was designed to know the status of Magnesium (Mg) nutrition and the protein effects in Mg metabolism of healthy young adult women in korean regular diet. The subjects were given 2 levels of protein, 0.45g and 0.90g per Kg of body weight per day, for 5 days each, caloric intake was 40 Kcal per Kg of body weight per day. During the experimental period, urine were collected every day and fecal samples were collected for the last 2 days of each diet period. Diet, urine and feces samples were analyzed for Mg contents. Mean daily Mg intake was 181.06mg and Mg balance showed positive balance for experimental period. Mean daily urine Mg excretion was not affected significant difference by the level of protein intake. But mean daily fecal Mg excretion was affected by protein level (P<0.01). As protein intake increased, mean Mg balance and digestibility were increased.

        The purpose of this study is to measure the perception of body image, attitude of body weight control, nutrition status and to imagine difference of value evaluation about seventeen foods of the subjects. The subject were 425 hourwives who living in Seoul, Kyunggi-do and Chungchungdo. 1. Those who think they are thinner than standard body weight were satisfied with their body size than those who think they are fatter than that. 2. Most subjects(81.2%) were concerned about their weight control. 3. Most nutrients were taken properly, but calories(94-99%), vitaminA(85%), and ascorbic acid(97%) were lower than those of R.D.A., The ratio of calorie percentage for carbohydrates vs. protein vs. lipid was 63 : 22 : 15. 4. Consumption of calories carbohydrates, protein and niacin are changed significantly by the degree of perception body type(p<0.05). 5. Carbohydrate, Ascorbic acid(p<0.05), Iron(p<0.001), vitamin B₁ and B₂(p<0.01) are changed by the concern of body weight control. 6. Most of them evaluated foods on the basis of the taste. They valued that kimchi was the best low calorie food, while they valued that chocolate was the best high calorie food.

      • 자동차용 도료의 부착성 향상에 관한 연구

        One customer criterion of surface finish quality of cold rolled sheet for automotive and appliance applications is the as-painted appearance of the final products. Especially, the current emphasis on control of surface roughness of cold rolled steel sheet has been prompted by the automotive industry's concern with the as-painted appearance of sheet products, because the influence of such characteristics on paintability, formability and painted surface appearance is important in defining surface condition of body sheet for automotive industries. This paper is dedicated primarily to the issue of painted appearance and reviews for improvement of paintability and adhesion property. The conclusions are obtained as follows : 1) Painted sheet appearance is strongly affected by surface roughness and peak count of base-metal and influenced by the topographical properties of substrate, paint thickness and zinc coating variables. 2) The painted appearance of shot blast textured(SBT) and electro-discharge textured(EDT) automotive cold rolled steel sheets was determined and related to surface roughness parameters, zinc coating method, and paint thickness. 3) As the result of examining adhesion on a steel sheet, a plastic and an aluminum sheet, it doesn't be affected by a material and is good on pearl coat and is 50∼60% on solid and base coat. 4) Because the pearl coat which has thick paint coat doesn't influence the surface roughness of a material, its adhesion is good but the adhesion of a solid coat which has two liquid types is influenced by the surface roughness of a material due to the thin paint coat.

      • 분말토마토 첨가량에 따른 흰쥐의 지질대사 개선효과

        This study was conducted to measure the effects of tomato powder on serum and liver lipid metabolism in growing male rats. The tomato powder were prepared by freeze drying. The rats(Sprague-Dawley) were divided groups; control, TM 3%, TM 6% and TM 12% groups according to the level of tomato powder supplementation. The rats were fed ad libitum each of the experimental diets for 6weeks. The body weight gain was significantly lower in the TM 12% group than that in the control group, but those of the TM 3% and TM 6% groups were similar to that of the control group. Also the FER(food efficiency ratio) was significantly lower in the TM12% group than that in the control group. The HDL-cholesterol concentration of serum in all the TM group were significantly higher that that of the control group. The LDL-cholesterol concentration of serum in the TM 12% group was significantly lower than those of the others group. HTR(HDL-cholesterol /total- cholesterol), LHR(LDL-cholesterol/total-cholesterol) and atherogenic index of serum in TM 12% group were significantly different than those of control group. The liver weights of all the TM groups were similar to that of the control group. The concentrations of hepatic total lipid, cholesterol and triglycerides in all the TM groups were significantly more decreased than that in the control group. The results indicated that tomato powder is an effective regimen for improvement of lipid metabolism in SD rats. But, the high level of the supplementation reduce body weight gain and food efficiency ratio.

      • 자동차 바디용 고장력 강판에 관한 연구

        In recently, annealing process of cold rolled sheet tend to change to continuous annealing process for improving quality, saving yield. In the meantime as demand for various kind and small lot of products has been increasing, batch annealing has been appreciated for its small restriction for the operation. So, we tested on the effect for the proper heating temperatures, heating time of cycle, cooling time and total cycle time in this annealing process of high tensile strength steel for automobile. As a result of several investigation. We confirmed for the following characteristics : In this process, we knew that 680℃ is suitable for this heating temperature cycle heating time of 38 Hr, cooling time of 31 Hr and total cycle time of 70 Hr. Still more, we could know that it is proper for cold rolling before annealing to be managed by 7pass because of the act on high pressure.
