        우리나라 재배지역별 야콘 생산성 및 기능성 프락토올리고당 평가

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of envrionmental factors on the ecological responses, yield, and quality properties and physicochemical characteristics of yacon cultivated in various regions of Korea. Experiments were carried out in eight regions from 2010 to 2013. The temperature range in Jinbu, Bonghwa, Cheolwon, and Gangneung during the growth period of yacon cultivation was $17.5-24.6^{\circ}C$. The total yield and marketable yield of tuberous root in Jinbu were 4,065 and 3,196 kg/10a, respectively. The sugar content of yacon tuberous roots comprised 0.11-0.20% fructose, 0.11-0.37% glucose, 0.39-0.68% sucrose, 0.07-0.37% reducing sugar, and 7.03-9.62% fructo-oligosaccharides. The content of fructo-oligosaccharides, which is a functional substance, was the highest in yacon cultivated in Jinbu. Based on the productivity and functional fructo-oligosaccharides, the optimum areas to cultivate yacon are Jinbu and Bonghwa, which are located in the middle-highland zone (500-560 m) and have a suitable growth temperature of $18-25^{\circ}C$. The results of the present study indicate that temperature could be the factor with the greatest influence on the root growth of yacon.

        조현병 환자들의 일상적 의사결정 과정에서 무쾌감증 및 자아존중감의 영향

        Objectives Decision-making in patients with schizophrenia has been known to be inefficient in both cognitive and affective aspects. The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of anhedonia and self-esteem on the decision-making process in schizophrenia. Methods Twenty patients with schizophrenia and 21 healthy controls performed the 'apparel purchase decision-making task', during which they were asked to respond to the preference, fitness, and price suitability, before making the final purchase decision. Generalized estimating equation and correlation analysis were conducted to explore for the difference of decision making patterns and influential factors between the two groups. Results The patients showed lower odds ratio (OR) of the fitness on the apparel purchase decision than the controls [OR 0.190 ; 95% confidence interval (CI) 0.047-0.762, p = 0.019). In the patient group, there was no correlation between the number of purchased trials and the severity of anhedonia, but the number of purchased trials was negatively correlated with the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale score at a trend level (R = -0.436, p = 0.055). Conclusions Patients with schizophrenia considered the fitness of clothes less than healthy controls on apparel purchasing decisions. Schizophrenia patients with lower self-esteem were intended to buy more clothes.

        메티실린 내성 황색포도알균 판독에 있어 항균제 감수성 검사와 mecA PCR법의 비교

        Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA)는 화농성 질환, 균혈증을 유발하고 병원내 감염의 주요 원인균으로 알려져 있다. 병원에서의 MRSA 분리율은 점차 증가하여 80% 이상으로 보고 되고 있으며 Methicillin 뿐만 아니라 다른 항균제에도 내성을 나타냄으로 치료를 위한 항균제 사용에 제한을 받고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 MRSA의 정확한 판정을 통해 항생제 남용을 막고자 대부분의 병원에서 사용하는 항균제 감수성 검사법과 경제적인 면으로 인해 병원내에서 많이 사용되고 있지 않지만 정확도가 높은 mecA 유전자 검출법을 서로 비교하였다. 그 결과 대조군인 Methicillin-susceptible Staphylococcus aureus와 실험군 MRSA 20 균주를 대상으로 항균제 감수성 검사법과 mecA 유전자 PCR 검출법을 실시한 결과 MRSA 20 균주는 Oxacillin과 Cefoxitin에 모두 내성을 나타냈으나 mecA 유전자 검출에서는 20 개 중 17 개에서만 유전자가 검출되어 염기서열분석 결과 mecA 유전자임을 확인하였다. 이런 결과로 보아 mecA(-) 3 균주는 mecA 유전자의 변이로 추측할 수 있기에 임상에서의 MRSA의 판정은 항균제 디스크법과 mecA 유전자 PCR 검출법을 동시에 사용함으로 정확한 MRSA 진단에 도움을 주고자 한다. Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) is one of major pathogen causing hospital infection and several diseases such as purulent infection, bacteremia. The isolation ratio of MRSA is gradually increased up to 80% in the hospital, which makes a limitation for treatment of antibiotics because the isolated MRSA show resistance to methicillin as well as other antibiotics. This study proposes that mecA detecting methods which are not commonly used because of cost in the hospital is a more accurate method than Susceptibility Testing to detect a MRSA. We compared Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 29213 as a negative control and 20 MRSA strains isolated from patients by these two methods. We amplified mecA gene by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and confirmed the PCR products by sequencing. All of the MRSA showed oxacillin and cefoxitin resistance whereas 85% (16/19) of the strains had mecA wildtype. These results suggest that some of the MRSA are mecA mutants therefore mecA genotyping reinforces the MRSA detection by antibiotic susceptibility test.

        Effect of Antibiotic Prophylaxis on Early-Onset Pneumonia in Cardiac Arrest Patients Treated with Therapeutic Hypothermia

        Background: Infectious complications frequently occur after cardiac arrest and may be even more frequent after therapeutic hypothermia. Pneumonia is the most common infectious complication associated with therapeutic hypothermia, and it is unclear whether prophylactic antibiotics administered during this intervention can decrease the development of early-onset pneumonia. We investigated the effect of antibiotic prophylaxis on the development of pneumonia in cardiac arrest patients treated with therapeutic hypothermia. Methods: We retrospectively reviewed the medical records of patients who were admitted for therapeutic hypothermia after resuscitation for out-of-hospital cardiac arrest between January 2010 and July 2015. Patients who died within the first 72 hours or presented with pneumonia at the time of admission were excluded. Early-onset pneumonia was defined as pneumonia that developed within 5 days of admission. Prophylactic antibiotic therapy was defined as the administration of any parenteral antibiotics within the first 24 hours without any evidence of infection. Results: Of the 128 patients admitted after cardiac arrest, 68 were analyzed and 48 (70.6%) were treated with prophylactic antibiotics within 24 hours. The frequency of early-onset pneumonia was not significantly different between the prophylactic antibiotic group and the control group (29.2% vs 30.0%, respectively, p = 0.945). The most commonly used antibiotic was third-generation cephalosporin, and the class of prophylactic antibiotics did not influence early-onset pneumonia. Conclusion: Antibiotic prophylaxis in cardiac arrest patients treated with therapeutic hypothermia did not reduce the frequency of pneumonia.

        잡음 영상에서 불균등 돌연변이 연산자를 이용한 효율적 에지 검출

        이 논문은 진화 프로그래밍과 개선된 역전파 알고리즘을 이용한 에지 검출 방법을 제안한다. 진화 프로그래밍은 알고리즘의 성능저하와 계산비용을 고려하여 교차 연산은 수행하지 않고, 선택연산자와 돌연변이 연산자를 사용한다. 개선된 역전파 알고리즘은 학습단계에서 연결강도를 변화시킬 때 이전학습단계의 연결강도를 보조적으로 활용하는 방법이다. 이 개선된 역전파 알고리즘은 학습률 $\alpha$를 작은값으로 설정하기 때문에 각 학습단계에서의 연결강도 변화량이 기존의 방법에 비해 상대적으로 줄어들게 되어 학습이 느려지는 문제점을 해결하였다. 실험결과 학습시간과 검출률에 있어서 GA-BP(GA : Genetic Algorithm BP : Back-Propagation)를 이용한 방법보다 제안한 EP-MBP(EP : Evolutionary Programming, MBP :Momentum Back-Propagation)를 이용하여 학습시킨 방법이 학습시간의 단축과 효율적인 에지 검출 결과를 얻을 수 있었다. This paper proposes a method for detecting edge using an evolutionary programming and a momentum back-propagation algorithm. The evolutionary programming does not perform crossover operation as to consider reduction of capability of algorithm and calculation cost, but uses selection operator and mutation operator. The momentum back-propagation algorithm uses assistant to weight of learning step when weight is changed at learning step. Because learning rate o is settled as less in last back-propagation algorithm the momentum back-propagation algorithm discard the problem that learning is slow as relative reduction because change rate of weight at each learning step. The method using EP-MBP is batter than GA-BP method in both learning time and detection rate and showed the decreasing learning time and effective edge detection, in consequence.

        Experimental studies were done to research the clinical effects of Sopoongyangjetang on the Anti-allergic effect, Analgesic action and Anti-inflammatory action. The results obtained as follows ; 1. In effect of Sopoongyangjetang on vascular permeability responses to intradermal serotonin, it had tendency to decrease, but was none significant effect. 2. In effect of Sopoongyangjetang on vascular permeability responses to intradermal histamine, it revealed significant effect. 3. In the homologous PCA provoked by the IgE-like antibody against white egg albumin, Sopoonyangjetang showed significant effect. 4. In the delayed type hypersensitivity responses to picryl chloride, Sopoongyangjetang was proved significant effect. 5. In the delayed type hypersensitivity responses to SRBC, Sopoongyangjetang revealed significant effect. 6. In analgesic action by acetic acid method, Sopoongyangjetang was recognized significantly. 7. In Anti-inflammatory action by carrageenine method, Sopoongyangjetang showed significant effect.

        면직물에의 아크릴산 에스테르의 그라프트중합

        Graft copolymerization of three acrylic acid ester, methyl acrylate(MA), ethyl acrylate (EA) and butyl acrylate(BA), onto cotton fabrics has been carried out in aqueous emulsion medium which contains ceria ammonium nitrate as an initiator. The factors that affect the graft yield and the graft efficiency such as the kinds of monomer(MA, EA, BA) , initiator concentration, grafting time, grafting temperature and monomer concentration were investigated. And some physical properties of acrylic acid esters grafted cotton fabric were tested. The results are as follows. There is an optimum range giving the maximum graft yield for the concentration of initiator and for the grafting temperature. The ranges were 0.01~0.02mol(conc. of initiator) and 30~45$^{\circ}C$ (grafting temperature). The graftlyields were increased with grafting time, and monomer concentration. Among the three monomers used in this experiment, MA was grafted more easily than the others. This result seemed to be due to the fact that MA has the smallest side chain. Roughly, the graft efficiency was inversely proportional to the graft yield. The thickness of acrylic acid ester grafted cotton fabric was increased, but moisture regain and tensile sirengh were decreased with the increase of graft yield.

        균형성과표(BSC)를 활용한 국립중앙도서관 성과지표 개발에 관한 연구

        국립중앙도서관은 국가대표도서관으로 국가지식문화유산의 수집·제공·보존관리 등의 국가도서관 임무를 수행하고 있다. 본 연구는 국가도서관인 국립중앙도서관의 지속적 성장과 발전을 위한 합리적 경영개선 도구로서 성과지표 개발을 목표로 하였다. 성과지표는 도서관 환경변화에 대응한 조직의 전략과 성과측정 연계에 유용한 균형성과표(Balanced Scorecard, BSC)를 기반으로 하였다. ① 자원, 접근, 인프라 관점, ② 이용 관점, ③ 효율성 관점, ④ 잠재력과 성장 관점, 19개 핵심성공요인, 71개 지표로 국립중앙도서관 성과지표를 개발하였다. 또한 국립중앙도서관 직급과 직무에 따른 성과지표 인식의 차이를 분석하였다. As a national library, the National Library of Korea is responsible for collection, provision, and preservation of national knowledge, information, and cultural heritage. This study aims to develop performance indicators as a rational tool to improve management of the National Library of Korea for its continuous growth and development. The performance indicators are based on the BSC(Balanced Scorecard), which is useful for linking the organization's strategies in response to changes in the library environment with performance measurement. As a result, 4 BSC-based perspectives (① Resources, Access, Infrastructure Perspective, ② Usage Perspective, ③ Efficiency Perspective, ④ Potential and Growth Perspective), 19 key success factors, and 71 performance indicators were developed for the National Library of Korea. Also, differences in perception of performance indicators by ranks and job duties at the National Library of Korea were analyzed.

        도화탕(桃花湯)이 백서(白鼠)의 소화성(消化性) 궤양(潰瘍) 및 장관수송능(腸管輸送能)에 미치는 영향(影響)

        Objectives : In order to study the clinical efficiency of Dohwatang, based on Oriental Medical References, using experimental animals, we studied ulcers, gastric juice secretion, free acidity, total acidity, and the action of transport rates in the intestine. Methods : We used rats administered with the above herbs. Results : Dohwa-tang showed remarkable inhibitory effects on peptic ulcers, gastric juice secretion, free acidity, and total acidity in pyloricligated rat. It also showed remarkable inhibitory effects on the transportability in the large intestine of rats. But Dohwa-tang didn't show any remarkable difference on stressed rats. Conclusions : Dohwatang works better for chronic pyloristenosis-peptic ulcer and for diarrhea than acute stress ulcer.

        감귤 내 생리활성성분이 간암세포의 생존에 미치는 영향

        Previous studies have suggested that Citrus fruits might suppress the proliferation of various cancer cells. However, little is known about any specific ingredients in the extract of Citrus fruits to exert its anti-proliferative activity in cancer cells. The present study aimed to identify the active ingredients in Citrus fruits to suppress the proliferation of rat hepatocellular carcinoma cells. Among tested compounds, two polymethoxylated flavones (nobiletin and tangeritin) showed significant anti-proliferative activity whereas other compounds (synephrine, rutin, hesperidin) did not. Interestingly, nobiletin as well as tangeritin also decreased the protein amount of gluconeogenic enzymes, PEPCK and G6Pase. The possible involvement of gluconeogenic activity in the proliferation of hepatocellulacarcinoma cells are further to be investigated.
