        Charge Density Wave Transition in Monolayer CuTe driven by Coulomb Correlation

        Dimensionality control provides a route to adjust physical properties in van der Waals layered materials. Bulk CuTe forming a layered structure exhibits a charge density wave (CDW) phase in Te chains with a periodicity of 5$\times$1$\times$2 at temperature below 335 K. The stability of the CDW state in a CuTe monolayer, however, has been investigated neither experimentally nor theoretically. Here, we report the theoretical prediction for the CDW phase in a CuTe monolayer using the first principles calculations. Similarly to its bulk structure, we find the phonon soft mode at $q$ = (0.4, 0.0), indicating structural instability, which only appears with the correlation effect on Cu. The role of Coulomb correlations in driving the CDW transition suggests an electron-electron correlation and an electron-phonon interaction as the origin of the CDW instability. We expect the periodicity of the CDW phase in the CuTe monolayer to be 5$\times$1. We show, by reducing the interlayer interactions, that tuning of the CDW modulation may be possible, as demonstrated by the modulation pattern in quasi-one-dimensional Te chains being different from that in the bulk counterpart.

        대학생 대상 진로교육 교과목이 진로장벽, 진로결정, 진로준비행동, 진로결정 자기효능감에 미치는 효과

        본 연구는 대학생 대상 진로교육 교과목이 진로장벽, 진로결정, 진로준비행동, 그리고 진로결정 지가효능감에 미치는 효과를 검증하는 것이 주된 목적이다. 이를 위해서 선행연구에서의 진로교육 교과목 개발 동향을 분석하여 교과내용을 구성하였고, 경기도 안성시에 소재한 4년제 대학의 교양과목인 '진로와 창업'을 수강한 75명을 실험집단으로, 다른 교양강좌를 수강한 92명을 통제집단으로 설정하여 한 학기 동안 수업을 진행하였다. 효과성 검증을 위해서 진로장벽검사, 진로결정검사, 진로준비행동검사, 진로결정 자기효능감 검사를 사용하였으며, 이 검사들을 통해 집단 간 효과 차이를 분석하였다. 그 결과, 진로교육 교과목 수강여부에 따라 진로장벽, 진로결정, 진로준비행동, 그리고 진로결정 자기효능감에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 확인하였다. 이밖에도 개방형 질문지를 통해 진로교육 교과목에 참여한 학생들의 반응을 유목화하여 진로에 대한 의식 및 태도 변화를 분석하였는데, 이것으로 본 연구의 경험적 결과를 질적으로도 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 연구결과는 대학생 대상 진로교육 교과목을 구성할 때 유용한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다. The purpose of this study was to test the effects of college career course on career barriers, career decision, career preparation behavior and career decision making self-efficacy. In order to reach to the objective, contents of curriculum was developed on the basis previous research. The experimental group, composed of 75 college students, attended 'Career and Entrepreneurship', Control group composed of 92 college students, attended other liberal art lecture. To test the effects of the college career course, this study used career barriers scale, CDS, career preparation behavior scale and CDMSE-SE and analyzed difference between groups. As this result, the career barriers, carrier decision, carrier preparation behavior and carrier decision making self-efficacy have been confirmed significant difference depend on attending to college career course. In addition, the categorized reflection of students on joined college career course through the opened questionnaire shows maturity of carrier attitude, and which was becoming evidence of the empirical result quality. In the future, the result of this study can be used by base data of college career course.

        가토에서 스쿠알렌 지방성 폐렴:고해상 CT소견 및 병리소견

        Purpose : To describe the HRCT and pathologic findings of squalene- induced lipoid pneumonia in rabbits. Materials and Methods : Three ml of squalene was instilled into the trachea between the second and the third tracheal ring in 16 rabbits. Serial HRCT scans were obtained on day 4 (n=8), at l week (n=7), 2weeks (n=1), 4weeks (n=1), 6weeks (n=2) and 20weeks (n=1) after squalene instillation. With sacrifice of the rabbits pathology was reviewed at 1 week (n=3), 4weeks (n=3), and 6weeks (n=4) after CT scans. Results : Lipoid pneumonia was induced in 8 rabbits; lesions were distributed mainly in the dependent posterior lung. On serial HRCT scans, airspace consolidation, as seen on an air-bronchogram, and nodular opacities were early findings; these gradually diminished and with time were replaced by nodular & linear opacities. Histologically, pulmonary fibrosis appeared one week after squalene instillation and progressed over time. Alveolar septal thickening and cuboidal change of the alveolar lining epithelium were more prominent at week 6. Conclusion : The early change of squalene-induced lipoid pneumonia in rabbits is the proliferation of intraalveolar macrophage, which is responsible for air-space consolidation with air-bronchograms on HRCT. Nodular and linear opacities on HRCT are due to the appearance of pulmonary fibrosis on week after squalene instillation, and its subsequent progression.

        유휴 대공간 구조 건축물의 리노베이션 구축방법과 활용방안에 관한 연구

        Urban regeneration is taking place through the renovation of abandoned large-scale industrial facilities, as the cultural, economic and technological responses to cope with the recent rapid urbanization and the new demands of the fourth industrial revolution era become more important. This study analyzed the case of effective renovation of large-scale idle space all over the world. In addition to analyzing the architectural characteristics of these cases, historical background, significance of renovation, methods, space composition, and programs were compared and their meaning in the urban context was summarized. The concrete method of renovation was mainly used for preserving the symbolic facilities and the facade of the existing building, and modifying the interior and exterior so as to contain new functions. Since the existing buildings are large, efforts have been made to change the internal space structure while maximizing the existing structure rather than enlarging. The effect and significance of such a large-scale idle space renovation can be summarized as preservation of history, supply of large-scale cultural and economic facilities, and revitalization of the city. The purpose of this study is to analyze the trend and characteristics of renovation of a large-scale idle space, intended to summarize effective planning elements for future renovations of large-scale idle space.

        MIMIC 모형을 활용한 청년 취업자와 미취업자 간의 심리 및 개인 역량 차이 분석

        The main purpose of this study is to compare psychological (career barriers, self-esteem) and personal capabilities (qualifications) between employed and unemployed youth. In order to serve this purpose, the study collected data from 4,597 employed young people and 1,486 unemployed young people using the 9th Youth Panel (2007) provided by the KEIS, then analyzed the data by controlling the gender and the level of education that would affect their employment using the MIMIC model. According to the results of the analysis, the unemployed had significantly higher career barriers and lower self-esteem than the employed. Moreover, the standard of qualification for employment was not significant between the unemployed and the employed. However, it was found that the qualification for employment was more important for unemployed youth than employed youth. The results of this study can be used as useful basic data for planning career education and counseling for youth. 본 연구는 청년 취업자와 미취업자 간에 심리적 요인(진로장벽, 자아존중감)과 개인역량 요인(취업을 위해 실제 준비한 스펙 및 스펙에 대한 영향력 인식)에 있어서 차이를 비교하는 것이 주된 목적이다. 이를 위하여 구조방정식 모형 중 MIMIC(Multiple-indicators Multiple-causes: 다중지표 다중원인) 모형을 활용해 취업에 있어서 신호로 작용할 수 있는 성별과 학력수준을 통제한 상태에서 자료를 분석하였다. 한국고용정보원에 제공하는 YP2007 중 2015년도에 조사한 9차 조사 데이터에서 취업자 4,597명, 미취업자 1,486명의 자료를 분석한 결과, 미취업자는 취업자에 비해 유의한 수준에서 진로장벽을 더 높게 인식하고, 자아존중감은 더 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 실제 준비한 스펙에 있어서는 취업자와 미취업자 간에 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았으나, 미취업자일수록 취업에 있어서 스펙의 영향력이 크다고 인식하는 것이 확인 되었다. 이러한 결과는 청년층 대상 진로교육 및 상담을 계획할 때 유용한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

        Intestinal extracellular matrix hydrogels to generate intestinal organoids for translational applications

        Intestinal organoids are emerging tools in intestinal disease modeling and regeneration. Matrigel, abasement membrane matrix extracted from mouse sarcoma, is the gold standard material for intestinalorganoid culture. Yet, the tumor origin of this matrix does not effectively provide organoids with nativeintestine-like microenvironments. To overcome this limitation, we demonstrate a decellularized smallintestine-derived hydrogel reinforced with three extracellular matrix (ECM) proteins that are essentialfor intestinal development. To identify optimal conditions for intestinal organoid culture, we optimizedthe concentrations of the ECM hydrogel derived from decellularized intestine and three ECM proteins. The intestinal organoids grown in the established ECM hydrogels have shown similarity to those grownin Matrigel in terms of organoid forming efficiency, size, and gene expression patterns of intestinespecificmarkers. Our intestine-mimetic hydrogel could increase the feasibility of intestinal organoidsfor more clinically relevant applications in disease modeling and regenerative medicine.
