Japanese studies of Chinese literature have a long history and tradition; however, they were primarily confined to classical literature, and this tendency largely persisted until the end of World War II. Several key reasons can be identified for this. First, showing respect for traditional Chinese culture was generally inseparable from a positive view of Confucianism as its ideological foundation. From this perspective, modern Chinese literature, which began with a critique of Confucianism, was easily regarded as heretical from the outset. Second, in modern Japan, modern China was understood primarily as an economic market or a target of political and military expansion, and there was little opportunity for genuine interest in its culture. As a result, respect for Chinese traditional culture did not contradict this tendency but rather became intertwined with it. Third, within Japanese academia, the study of Chinese classical texts through kundoku (a practice of reading Chinese texts by imposing Japanese syntax and pronunciation) dominated, often at the expense of modern Chinese. Modern Chinese was treated mainly in terms of fulfilling commercial or military needs, and scientific research in Chinese linguistics lagged behind. In this context, the present study seeks to examine how Japan understood and received Lu Xun, the founder of modern Chinese literature, with reference to materials on Japan–China relations. Due to limitations of manuscript length, this paper addresses only the period prior to the outbreak of the Pacific War.

山白菊 열수추출물이 HaCaT 피부각질세포에서 미치는 항염증 효과

Objectives : This study was conducted to verify the anti-inflammatory effects of Aster glehni water extracts in HaCaT keratinocytes. Methods : In this study, cell viability was confirmed by MTT assay. Production of TNF-α and IL-6 was determined by ELISA. mRNA expression of TARC and MDC were measusred by qRT-PCR. Also, expressions of p-JNK, JNK, p-ERK, ERK, p-p38, and p-38 were investigated by using western blot assay. Results : Aster glehni water extracts were not shown any significant cytotoxicity at 15.625-500㎍/㎖ in HaCaT keratinocytes. Aster glehni extracts inhibited the TNF-α and IL-6 production in HaCaT keratinocytes treated with TNF-α and IFN-γ. Also, expression of TARC, MDC, p-ERK, and p-STAT1 was decreased. Conclusions : These results suggest that Aster glehni water extracts have anti-inflammatory effects in HaCaT keratinocytes and can be applied to the development of anti-inflammatory treatment substances.

Tablet PC를 이용한 차세대 텔레메틱스 플랫폼 전략과 이를 응용한 비즈니스 모델에 관한 연구

The existing fixed telematics facilities for car were restricting of efficiency, utilization, communication, possibility, so it become disconnected with reality in the domestic and foreign market within thy near future, like as the case of 'car-phone'. It is too difficult to make a various business model on the restrict basis. To solve these problems, We suggested Tablet PC system as a new mobile telematics platform. The telematics platform based on the Tablet PC realize the perfect office, because it shows an excellent portability, high power and extension, various input equipment, and environment of communication in the car. To realize this concreteness, it needs a proper marketing strategy for a new business model. For this purpose, We analyzed the structure of industry, selected a proper target market, and established the strategy of marketing. Additionally, We proposed new business models ; particularly Portal site, Car-Home network, Car Software Tuning, and T-Vaccine(Intelligent Car Inspection System). These are made possible by the only Tablet PC platform.

The objective of this paper is to evaluate whether longevity risk is properly managed in Korean life insurance industry by measuring longevity risk in the viewpoint of natural hedge. According to analysis, the sum of the reserve of annuity and that of whole life insurance appears to decrease in the case both reserve of annuity and whole life insurance are shocked by same degree and also the mortality rate of the aged policyholders is improved faster than that of the less aged policyholders. Although the sum of the reserves increases only when the mortality improvement of annuity policyholders is higher than that of whole life insurance policyholders by two times, more than 60% of reserve increase of annuity is found to be offset by natural hedge. Thus, it is judged that the longevity risk of Korea life insurance industry is properly managed by natural hedge.
