창원공단내 금속제품 제조업 산업장의 작업공정과 소음환경 실태에 관한 조사연구

창원공단내 금속제품 제조업산업 장 중 16개 업종 74개 사업장을 대상으로 소음 공정과 평균소음 수준을 1989년 1월부터 12월까지 1년간 지시소음계를 이용하여 조사하였다. In order to prepare the fundamental data for the improvement of noisy working environments and effective hearing conservation program on workers exposed to industrial noise, the authors surveyed the working process and evaluated the noise revels on 74 manufacturing industries in Chang Won industrial complex from Jan. to Dec. in 1989. The results were summarized as follows : 1.The noise level was the highest in manufacture of machinery and equipment [100.8 dB(A)], and followed by pressing and hammer forgings of steel in the rough [94.6 dB(A)], extruding of aluminum [92.9 (A)], manufacture of railroad equipment [92.6 dB(A)], manufacture of boiler shop products [92.5 dB(A)] manufacture of steel pipe and tube [92.3 dB(A)], steel wire drawing mill [91.9 dB(A)], manufacture of motorcycles [91.8 dB(A)], manufacture of motor vehicle parts and accessories [91.1 dB(A)], manufacture of agricultural machinery and equipment [88.8 dB(A)], manufacture of mechanical power transmission equipment [88.7 dB(A)], manufacture of electrical and electronic machinery apparatus, appliance and supplies [88.6 dB(A)], and manufacture of screw machine products [87.9 dB(A)]. 2.Among sixty-two surveyed working processes, the noise level of forty-three processes [69.4%] exceed the threshold limit value for 8 hours per day. 3.As a allowable exposure times by governmental threshold limit values to industrial noise level [dB(A)], working [chipping] of manufacture of products machinery and equipment and pretest were shortest [30 minutes] and followed by hammer forgings of pressing and hammer forgings of steel in the steel in the rough [1 hours] including grinding of iron and steel foundries fifteen process [2 hours]. 4.As a result of this survey, the noise control and hearing conservation program were required especially in the manufacture of products machinery and equipment and pressing and hammer forging of steel in the rough.

The bone plate, nail and external fixation apparatus have been indtroduced for the union of the ftactured bones. Recently, the external fixation technique has been revived, especially for the healing of the fractured tibia, femur, pelvis and forearm bones. The device was intended to neutralize a comminuted fracture by provision of interfragmentary compression. Numerous different types of external fixation apparatuses have been developed in U.S.A. and other European countries. However, m our country, the apparatuses have been imported and utilized for the surgical application without any experimental confirmation. For the elucidation of the usage of imported external fixation devices, the stiffness of the extemal fixation devices (Orthofix, Monofixateure, and Hoffmann) were analyized experimentally. MTS and universal testing machine(UTM) were used for the experimental analysis under the different loading conditions of axial compression, antero-posterior and medio-lateral bending. Furthermore, the stiffness and yielding load of the laboratory developed unilateral type of external fixatian device were compared with those of the imported ones. In addition to this, the configuration of laboratory developed device was changed for the parametric study under the axial compression. The stiffness and yielding load of the laboratory developed device were sufficient for surgical application. However, the weight of our laboratory developed model is 1.2 times the average weight of imported ones. The reduction of weight may be needed for more convenient surgical application
