        X-ray 저선량 피폭방지를 위한 기능성 차폐크림의 방어 효과 검증

        In the case of radiation workers in medical institutions, radiation exposure is made for patient protection and accurate procedures, so they have a problem of low dose exposure. Low-dose radiation exposure occurs mainly in parts of the body other than the Apron area, and the most frequent place is the skin of the back of the hand. In particular, since the medical personnel's hands require senses and fine movements during the procedure, they are defenseless in the radiation exposure area and are at risk of exposure. It can solve the problem of shielding such as lead gloves, and it is difficult to use by suggesting the activity of the hand during the procedure. To solve this problem, a shielding cream capable of obtaining a functional radiation protection effect was developed and its shielding performance was compared with lead equivalent of 0.1 mmPb. In the process of manufacturing shielding cream, the shielding performance was improved by adding a defoaming process to reduce air holes to increase the density of the cream. Therefore, the shielding cream using barium sulfate as the main material has a lower shielding rate than the lead plate, and in the realm of effective energy, it is 59%, At high effective energy, a difference of about 37% was shown, indicating that there is a functional radiation protection effect. The advantage is that it can be used directly on the skin, and it is considered that it can be used before wearing surgical gloves and has a permanent protective effect.

        계란 껍데기를 이용한 융합 의료방사선 차폐시트의 가능성 검증

        경량의 의료방사선 차폐시트를 제작하기 위해 새로운 차폐소재를 검토하였다. 가정에서 음식물 쓰레기로 버려지 는 계란 껍데기 분말을 고분자 물질과 혼합하여 차폐재료의 가능성을 검증하고자 하였다. 기존의 경량 소재는 친환경의 조건을 만족하지만 주 재료 정제과정의 비용으로 인해 차폐시트 제작의 경제성에 어려움이 있다. 본 연구는 가정용 폐 기물인 계란 껍데기를 이용하여 이러한 문제점을 해결하고자 한다. 고분자 물질인 HDPE를 이용하여 3 mm 두께의 차폐시트를 제작하였으며, 차폐시트 단면 내의 입자 분포상태도 분석하였다. 입자의 모양은 대체로 거칠게 구성되어 입자 간 공극이 있었으며, 단위 면적당 무게는 평균 1.5 g/cm² 로 나타났다. 차폐성능은 저에너지 영역에서는 20%대, 고에너지 영역에서는 10%대의 차폐성능을 보여 저선량 의료방사선 차폐시트의 재료로 가능성을 보여주었다. In order to manufacture a lightweight medical radiation shielding sheet, a new shielding material was studied. We tried to verify the possibility of a shielding material by mixing egg shell powder, which is thrown away as food waste at home, with a polymer material. Existing lightweight materials satisfy eco-friendly conditions, but there are difficulties in the economics of shielding materials due to the cost of the material refining process. This study aims to solve this problem by using egg shells, which are household waste. A 3 mm-thick shielding sheet was fabricated using HDPE, a polymer material, and particle distribution within the cross-section of the shielding sheet was also verified. The shape of the particles was rough and there were voids between the particles, and the average weight per unit area was 1.5 g/cm². The shielding performance was around 20% in the low energy area and 10% in the high energy area, showing the possibility of a low-dose medical radiation shielding body.

        Performance Evaluation of a Medical Radiation Shielding Sheet with Barium as an Environment-friendly Material

        A radiation shield was developed from environmental-friendly materials as a potential replacement for the lead aprons used as shields against radiation produced in radiological examinations. For this, a radiation shielding sheet was manufactured using barium sulfate, which is not harmful to the human body, and its performance was evaluated. During the process of producing the shielding sheet, a mixing process focusing on the particle packing of barium sulfate was introduced to improve its shielding rate. This process was able to increase the particle packing by up to 450% compared to that for silicon. The mixing process was assessed by calculating and comparing the particle packing and porosity. The lead equivalent test method of X-ray protective supplies in the Korea Industrial Standard was applied as a radiation shield test for the manufactured sheet, and its shielding ability was evaluated at 30 kVp, 60 kVp, 100 kVp, and 150 kVp, respectively. According to the results,the manufactured sheet showed similar shielding ability to that of a 0.5 mm lead equivalent, and its barium sulfate particle packing was found to be satisfactory considering its flexibility. Therefore,a radiation shielding sheet made from barium sulfate and liquid silicone resin mixtures, which are environment-friendly shielding materials, instead of lead, by using this process will have excellent shielding ability in examinations performed in radiology and nuclear medicine departments.

      • 의료방사선 차폐 고무시트의 제작과 성능 비교

        Main component of radiography barrier aprons is lead. To manufacture a lead-free barrier sheath, barium sulfate and organic iodine-based chemicals should be mixed with rubber. Barrier capacity was tested in the medical field. To improve adaptation of rubber with the mixture, raw materials went through milling, agitation, and extruding processes. Three sheaths were manufactured with 30%, 80%, and 120% sulfate barium, respectively. This study found 10% lower barrier capacity of lead-free barrier than the traditional lead-containing rubber sheath. Problems, however, were confronted during the agitation and extruding processes. Mixing with rubber was a technically demanding job. Inconsistent depth, problems with thermal processing and dissipation were encountered as well.

        친환경 소재의 의료 방사선 차폐 시트 개발 ; Ⅰ: 섬유, 고무, 실리콘 소재 차폐 시트의 성능 비교평가

        영상의학과 검사실을 비롯하여 병원에서 의료방사선 차폐제로 사용되는 대표적인 물질이 납이다. 납은 재질이 연하고 오래 동안 변질되지 않으며, 특히 X(γ)선에 대한 선흡수계수가 커서 방사선 차폐제로 매우 유용하다. 그러나 납은 생물학적 구조와 기능에 필요하지 않는 부분이 많아 인체에 과다하게 노출되면 위험하므로 카드뮴, 수은, 비소 등과 같이 중금속으로 분류되어 있다. 이러한 위험성에서 벗어나기 위해서 납과 같은 방사선 차폐능력을 가지고 어떠한 형태로도 가공이 가능한 방사선 차폐물질을 개발하려고 노력하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 인체에 무해한 황산바륨을 이용하여 섬유, 고무, 실리콘에 함유하여 의료방사선 차폐시트를 개발하였고 이를 대상으로 의료방사선 차폐능력을 비교 평가하였다. 평가 결과에 있어서 실리콘에 바륨을 함유하여 제조한 시트가 가장 우수한 차폐능을 보였다.

        Comparative analysis of complex factors affecting the accuracy of injection volume of remote fluid monitoring system

        Recently, the prevalence of remotely managed patient care systems in medical institutions is increasing due to COVID-19. In particular, in the case of fluid monitoring, hospitals are considering introducing it as a system that can reduce patient safety and nurses' work. There are two products under development: a load cell method that measures weight and a method that detects drops of sap by infrared sensing. Although each product has differences in operation principle, sensor type, size, usage, and price, medical institutions are highly interested in the accuracy of the data obtained.In this study, two prototypes with different sensor methods were manufactured and the total amount of infusion per hour was measured to test the accuracy, which is the core of the infusion monitoring device. In addition, when there was an external movement, the change in the measured value of the sap was tested to evaluate the accuracy according to the measurement method. As a result of the experiment, there was a difference of less than 5% in the measurement value error of the two devices, and the load cell method showed a difference in the low-capacity measurement value and the infrared method in the high-capacity measurement value. As a result of this experiment, there was little difference in accuracy according to the sensor method of the infusion monitoring device, and it is considered that there is no problem in accuracy when used in a medical institution.

        The body to achieve an interaction that are connected to each other. Foot of which plays an important role in motor activity. Insole that has been recently used, have a dynamic functional elements. In particular, support of Arch plays a very important role in terms of a motor function of the human body as a whole. It is possible to predict the proper support Arch with insole, the overall structure of the body there can affect the balance. In this study, by applying the insole which supports the Longitudinal arch and Transverse arch, you are trying to assess the interaction of balance and the body's ability. To target the 20 there is no problem in the sense of balance, college student, and changes were observed by measuring the Center of Position area and distance through the Biorescue device worn before and after led by Arch support. As a result, I showed improved results significantly discount rate after wearing in the Center of Position area and distance to assess the balance ability. Therefore, the correction insole function is to support the Longitudinal arch and Transverse arch to an important role in the foot. It may be that it has a functional element for improving the balance of the function of preventing collapse of the arch during walking, to disperse the weight of the entire foot, us reduce fatigue in the end.

        This study applies in case of operating an exam using by the contrast order or inputting an order of a contrast media the exam of Radiology Department. It is developed for helping decision making as regards a process of an exam from reading the creatinine value automatically linked with Laboratory Information System. It can be confirmed by real-time information; therefore, the creditability of the information is able to be improved. We will create the base for Patient Monitoring System with the data from the side effect of the creatinine value and allergies. Decision Support System minimize the inconvenience and the riskiness of the given contrast medium for CT tests. We would like to improve medical services by providing a standard circumstance where patients are able to run tests safely and comfortably.
