        제도적인 관점에서 본 성과중심교육

        Outcome-Based education (OBE) is reviewed from the institutional perspective. The demand for and international trends in OBE are briefly examined and several term related to OBE, especially educational objective and program outcomes (POs), are introduced. It is stressed that systems for continuous quality improvement and quality assurance should be established to ensure the maintenance of the OBE system. Because the criteria for accreditation contain a criterion regarding the quality assurance related to program outcomes, several critical issues are considered regarding the POs themselves and the reduction of the POs. The core value of OBE is not only to provide appropriate education services to students to prepare them with the minimum skills and abilities for advancing their professional service, but also to guarantee the quality of graduates. In addition, the educational program should be continuously improved by employing the evaluation results acquired during the operation of the OBE systems. It is certain that an OBE system is one important aspect of student-centered education.

        정주 아미노필린의 투여 농도에 따른 부작용에 관한 연구

        Purpose : Some patients develop side effects from theophylline even at low serum concentrations. We designed a prospective study to evaluate the side effects of theophylline. Methods : A Prospective, controlled trial study was conducted. The low-dose group received an intravenous continuous aminophylline dose of 5 mg/kg/day on the first day and subsequently 10 mg/kg/day on the following two days. The usual-dose group received 10 mg/kg/day for three days and the control group received normal saline for three days. Heart rate, respiratory rate, serum concentration of theophylline, and four adverse events (irritability, sleep disturbance, jitter, and vomiting) were checked at the time of admission and at 2, 12, 24, 48, and 72 h after the start of aminophylline infusions. Results : Nine patients out of 37 in the low-dose group and six of 21 in the usual-dose group dropped out because of uncontrolled irritability. The serum concentrations of theophylline in dropouts (3.68±1.93 ìg/mL) and participants (4.47±2.45 ìg/mL) were not significantly different. Irritability was a more frequent side effect in the usual-dose group at 12 h, but there was no difference between the low-dose and usual-dose groups in terms of vomiting, sleep disturbance, and jitter. Most of the severe adverse effects were observed in children below two years of age. Conclusion : Some patients dropped out regardless of the initiating aminophylline dose, especially patients under the age of two years. 목 적 : 아미노필린을 낮은 농도(5 mg/kg/day)에서부터 점진적으로 증량할 때와 일상 용량(10 mg/kg/day)으로 시작할 때 나타나는 부작용을 비교하고자 하였다. 방 법 : 2007년 3월부터 2008년 1월까지 인하대병원 소아과에 호흡기질환으로 입원한 환아들을 대상으로 정주 아미노필린의 투여 용량을 달리하여, 투여 후 3일간의 활력 징후, 부작용 및 혈중 농도를 조사하였다. 결 과 : 저용량군 37명, 일반용량군 21명, 대조군 9명이었다. 저용량군과 보통용량군 간의 입원 시 연령, 신체활력징후, 혈액검사의 차이는 없었다. 경련과 같은 심각한 부작용은 없었다. 저용량군에서는 9명(24.3%)이 보챔, 수면장애로 아미노필린 사용을 중단하였으며, 일반용량군에서는 6명(28.6%)이 아미노필린 투여를 중단하였고, 투여를 중단한 경우의 혈중 농도(3.68±1.93 µg/mL)와 중단 없이 사용한 군의 혈중농도(4.47±2.45 µg/mL)의 차이는 없었다. 투여를 중단하게 된 경우는 대부분 2세 미만의 환자에서 발생하였다. 결 론 : 저자들은 급성 천식환자에서 정주 아미노필린의 부작용은 초기 투여용량과는 관계가 없다고 생각하며, 본 연구에서 사용한 용량보다 고용량 투약에 따른 연구 및 연령에 따른 연구가 필요할 것으로 생각한다.

        배관용 재료의 설계시 안전성 평가에 관한 연구(Ⅲ)

        For the assessment of fracture behaviors of structural components, various fracture mechanics parameters have been applied to date. New approaches to analyze structural fracture performance under elastic-plastic condition have been proposed by the development of testing methods for characterization of material behavior which is defying to the analysis by conventional fracture parameters. In this study, on the assumption that, initiation of crack propagation of a piping materials occurs when the crack tip strain field reaches $quot;the local fracture strain$quot;, following two major issues are discussed ; 1) The relationship between the critical value of J-integral(J_(IC)) and the local fracture strain (ε_c) in uniaxial tensile test in the region of maximum reduction area was described. 2) To proved the validity of above relations a series of tests were performed under various temperature and on the different piping materials.

        배관용재료의 설계시 안전성 평가에 관한 연구(Ⅱ)

        For most engineering materials are influenced by the dominant mechanism resisting crack extention under large scale yielding conditions. Continuum mechanics analysis shows that fracture toughness, in addition to depending on young's modulus, flow stress strain hardening exponent, and yield strain, should be nearly proportoinal to the effective fracture ductility obtained for the stress state characteristic for region ahead of the crack; plane stress or plane strain. It's known that, in most ductile materials, crack propagation of the material strongly governed by the J_(IC) value, which is still difficult to determine for it's complicate and troble-some determinative process. This paper, on the assumption that, initiation of crack tip strain field reaches on the relationships between the critical value of J-integral (J_(IC)) and the local fracture strain(ε_c) in uniaxial tensile test in the region of maximun reduction areas was described.

        배관용재료의 설계시 안전성 평가에 관한 연구(Ⅰ)

        Several piping material test methods have been developed as a result of advances in elastic-plastic fracture mechanics. It's known that, crack propagation of the materials strongly governed by the J_(IC) value. But the value is still difficult to be obtained because of it's complicate and troble-some determination process. In this paper, to prove the validity of the developed test procedure a series of tests were performed at various temperatures and for different material directions.

        황연(黃連) 추출물이 대식세포의 면역단백질 생성에 미치는 영향

        Objectives : The purpose of this study is to observe the effect of Coptidis Rhizoma (CCE-extract of C. chinensis Rhizome) in induction of immune protein on mouse macrophages. Methods : To analyze cytokines interleukin(IL)-$1{\alpha}$, IL-3, IL-9, IL-12p40, IL-13, IL-17, Monocyte Chemoattractant Protein(MCP)-1 induced by macrophages, mouse macrophages were incubated with CCE and was measured. Results : IL-$1{\alpha}$ measurement, CCE showed significant inhibition only at concentration level of 200 ${\mu}g/mL$. IL-3, MCP-1 measurement, CCE showed significant inhibition only at concentration level of 100, 200 ${\mu}g/mL$. IL-9 measurement, CCE showed significant inhibition only at concentration level of 50 ${\mu}g/mL$. IL-13 measurement, CCE showed significant inhibition only at concentration level of 50, 100, 200 ${\mu}g/mL$. The IL-12p40, IL-17 levels indicated no changes at 25, 50, 100, 200 ${\mu}g/mL$ on mouse macrophages. Conclusions : CCE did not significantly increased inflammatory cytokines IL-$1{\alpha}$, IL-3, IL-9, IL-12p40, IL-13, IL-17, Monocyte Chemoattractant Protein(MCP)-1 on mouse macrophages. It was verified CCE does not trigger cytokine related hypersensitivity reaction of organism or exacerbation of acute/chronic inflammatory disease.

        국제성함양과 관련된 프로그램 학습성과 평가체계 개선 연구

        In this paper, a process model for assessing, evaluating and improving a program outcome on the cultivation of internationality is proposed by analyzing the present outcome assessment system. By setting up performance scaled levels and specifying the target level for the performance criterion, the proposed model can help programs to demonstrate effectively that each of their graduates meets the required the program outcome levels. By allowing effective Continuous Quality Improvement(CQI) for the performance criterion, the model can help save operational expense associated with running of the program CQI. In addition, it is discussed that one of the most important aspect is logical and objective approaches when establishing the outcome assessment system. It is hoped that the proposed model can ultimately help to meet the program outcomes requirements in the engineering accreditation criteria. 학습성과 평가체계를 분석하여, 이를 개선한 평가체 계의 모형을 국제성함양 학습성과를 예로 들어 제시 하였다. 제시된 학습성과 평가체계는 PC별로 수행수 준을 제시하고, 수행수준에 근거한 달성목표를 프로 그램 차원에서 설정하여, 학생이 졸업 시점에서 학습 성과 달성 여부를 용이하게 입증하는 체계를 갖추고 있다. 이렇게 평가체계를 구축함으로서 PC별로 CQI 를 운영할 수 있어 교육현장에서의 업무를 감소할 수 있을 것이다. 또한 이러한 평가체계 수립에서 고려 해야할 중요한 측면은 평가체계를 논리적이고 객관 적으로 구성해야 한다는 사실을 논의하였다. 본 논문 에서 제시한 학습성과 평가체계 모형은 대학 현장에 서 학생의 학습성과 달성을 입증할 수 있는 용이한 모형이 될 것이라 판단된다.
