'LPGA 1세대 골퍼'의 삶과 정체성 : 박세리, 김미현, 박지은을 중심으로
The South Korean female professional golfers made brilliant achievement so the US LPGA Tour, the world's biggest arena. The golden age began when the ‘first-generation LPGA golfers’ made their debut on the tour around the year of 2000, including Mihyun Kim, Grace Park, first being started with Seri Pak, who won the US Women’s Open with her signature barefoot shot from the water hazard in 1998. Korean women’s golf has become a popular sport in the country for the past two decades, with the emergence of the so-called as ‘Seri kids’, a junior golfer who started golf influenced by Pak’s success, and their success has received many spotlights. Meanwhile, the success of Korean women’s golf has exposed not a few problems, like double-edged swords. Other problems such as culture, conflicts with their own fathers, excessive rivalry spirit and slumps were also come to the surface. In this regard, this research aims at identifying the educational implications of Seri Pak, Mihyun Kim and Grace Park among the ‘first-generation LPGA golfers’ by interpreting their lives and identities in-depth. The results of the study are as follows. First, how has the life and identity of the ‘first-generation LPGA golfer’ been taken shape and changed? Seri Pak’s life journey was a process of forming an ‘achievement-oriented identity.’ She was obsessed with golf more than anyone else with her strong tenacity, she felt a desire to achieve, and a keen sense of competition laid the foundation for her success. Mihyun Kim’s life is summarized as a process of forming a ‘relation-oriented identity.’ She started playing golf under her father's influence, and her relationship with my father was the most influential factor in her golf. Grace Park’s life can be summed up as her ‘self-directed identity.’ She has enjoyed competition since her childhood, and through her self-driven way of golf, she constantly appeared to seek to find her goals and pleasures out of golf. Second, what is the educational significance of the life and identity-building process of the ‘first-generation LPGA golfer’? First, the ‘first generation of LPGA golfers’ experienced an ‘unlimited competitive life’ to build competitiveness when they first grabbed the golf club. Such an atmosphere where rivalry is over-emphasized can turn players into ‘a ball-hitting machine.’ However, as for as the sport is concerned, even the best player cannot win all the time. Therefore, it should be recognized achieving successful outcomes should not be the only emphasis but the various immanent values gained in the process. Second, the ‘first-generation LPGA golfers’ was greatly influenced by ‘golf daddy’ from their start of golf career. ‘Golf Daddy’ was usually a ‘friendly daddy’, but he became a very strict ‘cruel father’, when dealing with their athletic daughters. He is a ‘father who tries hard for his daughter’, and a father who plays a ‘superman daddy’ as a manager, driver and coach, being fully committed to taking care of his daughter. While this culture of golf has had a huge impact on bringing the ‘first-generation LPGA golfers’ to the top of the world, but the ‘shadowing’ of parents’ excessive expectations, enthusiasm for education and strict education has become a source of conflict with their father. Since golf is an important sport of fighting for him/herself in the end, and fathers should be wait and faithful to the role of a ‘strong helper.’ Third, ‘first-generation LPGA golfers’ experienced a slump, both large and small, due to many reasons such as financial problems, psychological problems, social-political and environmental problems, crisis management abilities, injuries, lack motivation, and suffered symptoms of yips, negative thoughts, complex thought, loss of confidence, etc. Because most every athlete goes through a slump, what players in the slump, what players in the slump need is to accept that they are in a slump. It is very difficult to admit that one is in a slump, but understanding that they are in a slump is the first step to overcome the hard times, looking back at oneself to find their weakness, and the time and effort to overcome must follow. The key to overcoming slump is accepting and reflecting, and life after overcoming this phase can change as well. Keywords : ‘first-generation LPGA golfers’, LPGA tour, life, identity, life history research, Seri Pak, Mihyun Kim, Grace Park, ‘achievement-oriented identity’, ‘relation-oriented identity’, ‘self-directed identity’, ‘Seri kids’, ‘golf daddy’, educational significance 한국 여자골프는 1998년 미국여자프로골프(LPGA) 투어 메이저 대회인 US여자오픈에서 맨발의 해저드 샷으로 우승을 차지한 박세리를 시작으로 김미현, 박지은 등 ‘LPGA 1세대 골퍼’가 2000년을 전후해 투어에 데뷔하면서 황금기를 맞았다. 박세리의 성공에 영향을 받아 골프를 시작한 주니어 골퍼들, 이른바 ‘세리 키즈’가 출현하면서 지난 20년 동안 국내에서 인기 스포츠로 자리매김하였으며, 이들의 성공 요인은 많은 스포트라이트를 받았다. 반면 한국 여자골프의 성공에는 양날의 검처럼 골프에 올인해야 하는 문화, 지나친 경쟁의식, 아버지와의 갈등, 슬럼프 등의 문제점들이 표출됐다. 이에 본 연구는 ‘LPGA 1세대 골퍼’ 중 박세리, 김미현, 박지은을 연구 대상으로 하여 생애사 연구 방법을 통해 이들의 삶과 정체성을 심층적으로 해석하면서 그 교육적 의미를 규명하는데 목적을 두었다. 연구 결과 박세리의 삶의 여정은 ‘성취 지향적 정체성’ 형성의 과정으로 드러났다. 누구보다 성공에 대한 강한 집념으로 골프에 올인하였으며, 도전을 통해 자신감을 얻었고, 치열한 경쟁의식은 성공의 밑받침이 됐다. 김미현의 삶은 ‘관계 지향적 정체성’ 형성의 과정으로 나타났다. 아버지의 영향 아래 골프를 시작하였으며, 아버지, 스폰서와의 관계 등은 김미현의 골프에 가장 큰 영향을 미친 요소였다. 박지은의 삶은 ‘자기 주도적 정체성’ 형성의 과정임을 도출하였다. 어린 시절부터 경쟁을 즐겼으며, 누구에게도 지기 싫어하는 근성으로 두각을 보였고 자기 주도적 골프를 통해 끊임없이 골프에 대한 목표와 즐거움을 찾으려 했다. ‘LPGA 1세대 골퍼’의 삶과 정체성 형성에 따른 교육적 의미는 ‘경쟁을 통한 내적 가치 추구’, ‘기다려주는 아버지’, ‘피할 수 없는 슬럼프’로 요약할 수 있다. 첫째, ‘LPGA 1세대 골퍼’는 골프 클럽을 잡은 순간부터 경쟁력을 기르기 위한 ‘무한 경쟁의 삶’을 살았고 ‘승리지상주의’, ‘다른 선수와의 비교’에 빠지기도 했다. 그러나 최정상에 있는 선수라도 늘 우승할 수 없는 게 골프이기 때문에 결과로써의 성취만을 강조할 게 아니라 그 과정에서 얻을 수 있는 다양한 내재적 가치를 추구할 필요가 있다. 둘째, ‘LPGA 1세대 골퍼’는 골프를 시작했을 때부터 ‘골프 대디’의 영향을 크게 받았다. ‘골프 대디’는 평상시엔 ‘다정한 친구 같은 아빠’였고, 딸을 위해 모든 것을 올인하면서 매니저, 운전기사, 코치 역할을 해내는 ‘노력하고 헌신하는 아빠’였다. 운동선수인 딸을 대할 때는 매우 엄격한 ‘무서운 아빠’의 모습도 보였다. 이런 ‘골프 대디’ 문화는 ‘LPGA 1세대 골퍼’를 세계 정상으로 올려놓는 데 큰 영향을 미쳤으나, 지나친 기대와 뜨거운 교육열, 엄격한 교육 방식과 같은 ‘그림자 뒷바라지’는 갈등을 낳는 요소가 되었다. 그러나 골프는 결국 선수 스스로가 해야 하는 운동이기에 아버지는 ‘믿고 기다려주는’ 든든한 조력자가 되어야 한다. 셋째, ‘LPGA 1세대 골퍼’는 금전적 문제, 사회⋅환경적 문제와 위기관리 능력 상실, 부상, 동기 부재 등으로 인해 크고 작은 슬럼프에 빠졌으며, 입스, 부정적 사고, 복잡한 생각, 자신감 상실 등을 겪었다. 선수들이 스스로 슬럼프를 인정한다는 것은 쉽지 않은 일이다. 그러나 슬럼프는 누구나 겪을 수 있는 일이기 때문에 그것을 어떻게 받아들이고 대처하느냐가 매우 중요하다. 슬럼프 극복은 슬럼프에 대한 이해로부터 시작되며, 스스로를 돌아보는 성찰 같은 노력을 기울이는 데에 슬럼프 극복의 열쇠가 있다. 주제어 : ‘LPGA 1세대 골퍼’, 박세리, 김미현, 박지은, 삶, 생애사 연구, 정체성, ‘성취 지향적 정체성’, ‘관계 지향적 정체성’, ‘자기 주도적 정체성’, ‘골프 대디’, ‘세리 키즈’, 교육적 의미

On compact CR submanifolds with parallel mean curvature vector of a complex space form
Sgaoe operator와 f-구조가 commutative이면 h(2) = h^*P_*** + c/4(n-1)이 성립함을 최근에 U-H. Ki, R. Takagi and T. Takahashi께서 논문으로 발표하신 바 있고 본 논문에서는 complex space form의 parallel mean curvature vector를 갖는 compact CR Submanifold 상에서 h(2) = h^*P_*** + c/4(n-1) ≥ h(2) 이면 A^*f=fA^*라는 것을 보였다.

외국어고등학교 재학생의 진학동기와 진로결정관계성이 진로의사결정 및 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향

이 연구에서는 외국어고등학교 재학생을 대상으로 진학동기(무동기, 내재적 동기, 외재적 동기)와 진로결정관계성(지지, 모델링, 활동, 조언), 진로의사결정(결정성, 편안), 진로준비행동 사이의 관계를 살펴보았다. 외국어고등학교 재학생의 진로의사결정 수준과 진로준비행동에 영향을 미치는 변인 간의 관계를 확인하기 위하여 설정한 문제는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 외국어고등학교 학생의 진로결정관계성과 진학동기가 진로의사결정에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가? 둘째, 외국어고등학교 학생의 진로결정관계성과 진학동기가 진로준비행동에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가? 셋째, 외국어고등학교 학생의 진학동기 수준이 진로의사결정에 미치는 영향은 진학동기 수준에 따라 달라지는가? 넷째, 진학동기 수준이 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향은 진학동기 수준에 따라 달라지는가? 외국어고등학교 재학생을 대상으로 설문 조사를 실시했으며, JAMOVI 프로그램을 활용하여 각 변인들 간의 관계를 분석하고 조절효과를 검증하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 진로결정관계성 중 지지와 모델링이 진로의사결정의 결정성에 유의하게 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 진로의사결정의 편안에 대해 지지가 유의한 영향을 나타냈다. 반면에 진학동기는 진로의사결정에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 진로준비행동에 내재적 동기와 진로결정관계성의 활동이 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 반면에 외재적 동기는 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 모델링이 진로의사결정 결정성에 미치는 영향은 무동기 수준에 따라 달라지는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 활동과 조언이 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향은 무동기 수준에 따라 달라지는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 진로결정관계성이 진로의사결정 및 진로준비행동에 영향을 주는 요인을 중심으로 진로지도와 진로 프로그램의 구성과 학생들의 동기 수준에 맞는 진로결정관계성 제공의 필요성에 대해 논의하였다.

본 논문에서는 Baghai, Servaes and Tamayo(2013)의 연구 방법론을 통하여 국내 상장기업 중 신용등급을 보유한 비 금융업 12월 결산 법인을 대상으로 신용평가사들이 1998년부터 2012년까지 회사채 등급 평가 기준을 완화해 온 것을 확인하였다. 먼저, 등급 평가 기준의 완화성이 기업들의 자본 구조 의사결정에 영향을 주는지 기업들의 의사결정과 투자자들의 의사결정 크게 두 측면으로 나누어 살펴 보았다. 기업들의 의사결정에서 완화성은 현금보유에는 양(+)의 유의적인 영향을 미쳤으나 순부채발행량, 성장률, 투자 결정 등에는 유의한 영향을 주지 않았다. 다음으로 신용등급 공시 변경일에 대한 사건연구를 통하여 상향 변경의 경우 초과수익률이 유의적이지 않았으며 하향변경 및 무변경의 경우 1% 유의수준에서 음(-)의 수익률을 보이는 것을 확인하였다. 이는 시장에서 신용평가사들의 회사채 등급 평가의 완화성을 시장에서 인지하고 있으며 그 결과 완화성이 기업들이 자본구조 결정을 변화시킬 만큼 충분한 동기가 되지 못함을 시사하고 있다.
