제주 정착주민 정책 현황 연구

제주 정착은 이제 새로운 현상이 아니다. 21세기에 들어서면서 도시를 떠나 농촌으로 향하는 인구가 증가하고 있으며 이런 이도향촌 흐름 속에서 제주로의 정착이 크게 주목받고 있다. 제주 지역의 인구 변화는 제주 사회에 다양한 사회변동을 가져왔다. 본 연구에서는 최근 10년간 제주에 정착한 제주 정착주민의 정착 지원 정책 이용 사례를 연구했다. 심층면접은 총 22건으로 30명(집단면접포함)을 대상자로 했다. 심층면접 결과를 바탕으로 정책 이용 사례를 세부적으로 살펴보았다. 본 연구의 구성은 크게 제주 정착 지원 정책과 정책 이용 사례분석으로 이루어지며, 이를 통한 시사점은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 체계적이고 실질적인 농업 및 취업 교육과 통합적 정보 제공이다. 둘째, 사회적 인프라의 확충이다. 셋째, 사회안전망 구축은 열악한 제주 지역의 노동환경을 보완하려는 것이다. 넷째, 정착주민과 지역주민의 구분 없는 일원화 정책이 정착주민과 지역주민을 융합시킬 수 있을 것이다. 제주 정착주민의 정책 이용 사례를 통해 제주 지역주민이 전반적으로 경험하고 있는 여러 가지 사회문제들을 살펴볼 수 있었다. 또한 제주 정착주민이 사회적 가치에 관심이 많음을 알 수 있었다. 이는 제주이주가 세계화, 양극화, 개인화와 같은 한국 사회의 변동과 관련되어 있다는 사실을 재확인해 주었다. 앞으로 제주특별자치도의 정책은 대안적 삶과 지속가능한 개발을 목표로 하는 중장기적 계획을 수립하고, 제주 지역의 사회적 인프라를 확충하고 사회적 안전망을 구축하는 방향으로 나아가야 할 것이다. This case study analysis policies on internal migrants to Jeju after 2005. The analysis aims to increase understanding of how policies support the settlement, adaptation of internal migrants into Jeju society. For the research methodology, this study collected the opinions through in-depth interviews, and found how the Jeju migrants use settlement policies. With regard to settlement policies, there are four types of interventions that aim at improving the economic and social outcomes of migrants: a) urban-to-rural migration policy, b) Jeju`s settlement service for internal migrant, c) entrepreneurial support policy, and d) policy for small rural schools. A result of the analysis suggests that settlement policies aim to provide information on housing, health, employment, education, community services, Jeju`s history and unique culture, and to improve living conditions and community welfare. Also, to set up a social safety net, and to strengthen social integration.

Edward Bond의 극에 나타난 Aggro-effect 연구

This paper aims to deal with the effectiveness of “agro-effect” demonstrated in Edward Bond's plays such as Early Morning, “Black Mass”, “Passion”, “Grandma Faust”, “The Swing”, Narrow Road to the Deep North, Lear and Restoration. Among today's living British dramatists, Bond has been most deeply influenced by Brecht. In continuing in the vein of Brecht's epic drama, he tried to explore the consciousness of man through the use of the epic techniques. Furthermore, he has taken it a step further and developed its alienation effect into “aggro-effect”. Unlike alienation effect, however, “agro-effect” attempts to induce active participation from the audience. Therefore, the audience emotionally commit themselves to what's happening on the stage. During the performance of the play the effective combination of epic technique’s alienation effect and grotesque humor keeps unfailing tension between critical detachment and emotional involvement.

실버세대의 인터넷 활용 영향요인 연구

인터넷과 관련 정보기술의 비약적인 발전만큼 우리에게 새로운 도전과 성장의 기회를 제공한 적은 없다. 정보는 엄청난 속도로 전파되고 관련 기술 역시 그에 걸맞는 속도로 발전하고 있다. 그러나 사회가 이처럼 ICT(Information & Communication Technology)에 의존하는 경향이 짙어지면서 노인(실버)세대의 삶의 질은 오히려 저하되고 있는 것처럼 보인다. 어떤 일이 벌어지고 있는지, 어떤 기회가 있는지 등에 대한 정보에 편하게 접할 수 있으며 기존의 관행에 비해 새로운 대안이 나올 때 이를 손쉽게 이용할 수 있는 기회가 제공되어야 인생이 재미있다. 본 논문은 노인들의 인터넷 이용 및 접근에 대한 영향요인을 식별·평가하는데 주요 목적이 있다. 인터넷의 이용용이성, 인터넷에 대한 유용성인식 정도, 자기효능감, 스트레스, 세대 간 갈등, 소득 등을 주요 변수로 설정하고 이를 테스트한다. 55세 이상의 노인 288명에 설문을 돌려 모형을 검증한 결과, 유용성과 용이성은 사용의도에 영향을 미치며, 자기효능감과 세대 간 갈등도 유용성에 다소 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나 스트레스와 수입은 유용성과는 무관한 것으로 나타났다. 그렇지만 자기효능감과 수입은 용이성에 영향을 미치는 것으로 판단된다. 이외에도 실버세대의 인터넷 교육에 대한 몇 가지 제안도 논문 말미에 포함시켰다. No other change in Korea has offered greater challenges and opportunities than the emergence of the Internet and its related Information Technology. Information is expanding at an unprecedented rate, and enormously rapid strides are being made in the technology for accessing the ever growing wave of information. The quality of life for silver generation is increasingly difficult to achieve because of the complexities of life in today`s ICT((Information & Communication Technology) dependent society. Life is more interesting when one knows what is going on, what opportunities exist, and when alternatives to current practices can be discovered and utilized with ease. The purpose of this study is to identify the determinants of attitude and planned behavior toward using internet for the quality of life. This study employ the intention to use internet, perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, self-efficacy, stress factor, generation gap, and income as major research variables, and collected 288 survey responses from senior citizen over 55. The results indicate that the perceived usefulness and ease of use influence the intention to use internet, and that the self-efficacy, the ease of use and generation gap has some impact on the attitude, but the stress factor and the income level do not appear significant to the attitude. It was also found that the self-efficacy and the income level determine the level of ease of use. In addition, some useful suggestions concerning the continuing education program for silver generations are presented.

멜로드라마에서 사실주의 드라마로의 발전: 『오들리 부인의 비밀』과 『계급』을 중심으로

19세기에 영국 연극의 한 장르인 멜로드라마는 선정적이며 도식적인 플로트, 선과 악을 대변하는 유형적 인물, 권선징악의 결말을 특징으로 하는 유형의 드라마를 지칭하였다. 당대의 대표적 멜로드라마 『오들리 부인의 비밀』은 이런 멜로드라마의 모든 특징을 갖춘 극으로 우연의 일치(coincidence), 위장(disguise), 광기(madness), 숨겨진 정보(buried information) 등 진부한 극적 기교의 빈번한 사용, 과장되고 선정적인 극의 구성, 일관성 없는 등장인물의 행동, 대화보다는 방백과 과장된 액션에 의존하는 내용 전달 등으로 인해 당대에는 상당히 대중적 인기를 얻었다. 그러나 사실주의에 대한 관심이 고조되는 가운데 새로운 시대를 대변하는 연극의 출현은 불가피하였다. 이런 상황 속에서 발표된 T.W. 로버트슨의 『계급』(1867)은 멜로드라마적 극적 구성에 기초한 가정극으로서 당대의 엄격한 사회 계층의 문제를 희극적으로 다룬 작품이다. 로버트슨은 연극의 과장된 연기술, 비현실적 장치 등에 대신하여 연출기능의 독립, 사실적 무대장치와 도구의 사용, 과장된 연기를 지양하기 위한 무대 지문의 빈번한 사용, 사실주의적 대사와 인물 설정 등을 통해 관객들이 자신들의 일상생활이 무대 위에서 자연스럽게 재연되고 있음을 확인하게 하였다. 다양한 시도를 통해 사실적 무대의 재현을 시도했다는 점에서 로버트슨은 최초의 현대 영국 극작가이며 『계급』은 멜로드라마에서 현실에 바탕을 둔 사실주의 극으로의 발전에 중요한 전환점이 되었다고 평가할 수 있겠다.

Edward Bond의 The Sea 연구 : 사회구조적 폭력과 광기를 중심으로

This paper aims to deal with the effects of a rigidly sectionalized society on its victims in Edward Bond's The Sea. The play shows a conventional class confrontation set in a English seaside village in the early 1900s : Mrs. Rafi, the village dictator versus her main victim, Hatch, a town's draper. Mrs. Rafi practises a form of mental and emotional violence to those beneath her. Hatch, oppressed by Mrs. Rafi and repressed by himself, begins to create the false inner world. As he completely loses touch with reality under the economic and legal pressure, he invents a fantasy of revenge and aggression which enslaves both himself and men like Hollarcut. Willy, who comes from the outside the village, provides the outlet for Hatch's rage and madness which is activated by societal pressures. While Hatch's inability to reach an understanding of his situation culminates in the futile intensity of his knifing of the corpse washed up on the beach, Willy works steadily towards a view of his world that allows for optimism.

정보화 사회와 독서 정보화 사회의 독서매체 확장을 위한 일고(一考)

Since the emergence of information-oriented society and digital revolution, we need to extend the concept of traditional reading and search for alternative methodology to let us access more easily and rapidly to various forms of reading materials or enormous information database. Traditional pattern of reading tended to focus on printed materials representatively called ``book``, however, boundary of reading should be extended according to change of communication skills and potential of new reading environments such as Internet. Based on such a background, this study was intended to find out possible reading methods, types of media for reading, several kinds of new literacy, and important aspects from the perspective of design in media environments for integrated computer technology. User friendliness, ease of use, and user-centered environment.s were suggested as basic assumptions for designing of new hypertext! hypermedia reading environm- ents. The main reason that new media have to be integrated into already existed traditional reading environments is to provide us with several options applied to other patterns of reading for new generation called ``N(Network) gener­ation``.
