        주거지 외부공간에 대한 아동의 의견 및 선호도 분석에 관한 연구 -대구시 초등학교 학생을 중심으로 -

        The purpose of this study is to provide the planning device of outdoor environment of housing area for children. This study was accomplished the analyzation of opinion and preference of 230 children, elementary school students in Daegu. The contents of survey included the general items of children, the characteristics of outdoor activities, and the opinion & preference about outdoor space of housing area. And the survey of children's preference was used the 5 Likert scale. The conclusion of this study are as follows : First, generally, the design guidelines of housing area were provided to adult user, but the guidelines for children are limited at play space and park. So, the design guidelines of housing area must be provided by the children's opinion, pointment, and dissatisfaction. Second, children have the definite opinion and can point the preference about the outdoor space of housing area. So, children's opinion can not be bypassed in the process for planning of housing area. Third, children prefer the outdoor space that was furnished the facilities for convenience of the children's outdoor activities. So, exiting guideline of the outdoor space of housing area must improve to children.

        I. 주거지 외부공간의 물리적 특성에 따른 아동의 외부활동 행태 및 만족도에 관한 연구 - 대구광역시 택지개발지구를 중심으로 -

        The purpose of this study is to provide the guidelines for housing area that consider the children's outdoor behavior. This study was complemented the limit of study method of the previous studies limiting the subject to play space in APT. So, this study was progressed the analyzation of physical characters of outdoor spaces, the observation of children's activities behavior, and the survey of children's opinion and satisfaction. Especially, 2 objective housing areas of this study were selected the deferent areas. The deferents were the structure of street, the location shape of parks, and the physical characters(accessibility, network etc.). Finally, founding on the result of this study, the 7 guidelines of housing area for children were presented : play space, park & green space, space of around the education facilities, space of around the commercial facilities, street space, square, and parking lot. This study have means that expand the objective range and use the variety study methods.

        사회사적 관점에서 본 우리나라 도시빈민의 형성배경과 주거문화 -한국전쟁 이후 집단이주민촌부터 외환위기 이후 신빈곤층 주거까지-

        The purpose of the this study was to provide the basic information about the formation background of urban squatter and their housing state in Korea. This study was progressed on the basis of socio-historical point of view from after the Korean War to the present time. Therefore, this study considered the meaning of housing for urban squatter in the Korean housing history. For this study, the formation background of urban squatter was divided into five periods. The first one was the period of the policy on the mass migration (1955-1960) after the Korean War. The second period was the period of reproduction of deteriorated residential area (1960-1970) for the continuing mass migration policy. The third was the period of disbanding of deteriorated residential area (1970-1980) for redevelopment. The forth period was before the IMF (1980-1997) broke up the deteriorated residential area. The fifth period was after the IMF (1997-) produced the new poverty due to the unemployment and the business failure. Thus, such social change increased the number of urban squatter and created the new type urban poor.

        아파트 담장허물기 유형별 가로공간의 물리적 환경변화 및 이용특성 연구

        The purpose of this study was to compare the differences between two types of wall removal projects. One was the case that removed one side wall of the apartment in Daegu, another was the instance that eliminated the walls between two apartments in Gimcheon. For this study, the observation method was performed to know the using pattern on the street space, and survey including resident's opinion and satisfaction about result of the project was conducted to gather data. The total number of objects to analysis was 157. The conclusion of this study is as follows. First, when the space was secure from danger of cars, people could access easily. And when it had interesting elements, the street space after wall removal was used by residents. Second, the effective method to connect places was to make intermediate space after wall removal project. In this sense, the way can help to improve the level of quality the daily life of residents. Finally, in the apartment-oriented wall removal project, it could supplement the flaw of the detached house-oriented project and effective potentiality for vitalization of community.

        노후주거지 공원녹지공간재생이 정주의식에 미치는 영향 - 부산 우암동 노후주거지를 중심으로 -

        The purpose of this study was to analyze the impact on settlement consciousness from the physical change and community development accomplished by the regeneration of a park and green space in a deteriorated residential area. The case study was a park that altered the landscape of a ruined hill in Busan. Two field investigations were performed to determine the condition of before and after the making of the park. A survey was also conducted, the frequency and means were calculated, and multiple regression analysis was performed. The results show, first, the physical regeneration increased the vitality of the place and assisted in the improvement of the community, particularly in satisfaction and attachment to residence, and in the settlement consciousness. Second, the identity of the resident was improved by the regeneration, and they approved of the transformation of an abandoned space into a usable place. Third, the settlement consciousness was significantly reinforced by making the physical environment into valuable space and improving the image of the residential area.

        도시주거지 주차환경개선을 위한 녹색주차사업 참여확대 및 인식제고 방안

        The purpose of this study was to provide information on how to expend participation in and raise awareness of the Green Parking Project. A survey was conducted for this study among two groups. One group consisted of 38 residents of the Green Parking Zone in Nam-gu, Ulsan, and the other group consised 129 residents with no experience with the Green Parking Project. For analysis, the frequency and means were calculated, and t-test, analysis of variance, and chi-square test were performed. The results showed, first, that general residents tended to think that parking on the street in front of one's house is a divine right, while residents living the Green Parking Zone thought that the street is a public space. Second, general residents regarded fences as means of security to protect their private property, while people living in the Green Parking Zone tended to think of their yards as semi-private spaces and allowed access to neighbors. Third, general residents had concerns about maintenance and administration fees, noise and dust, security of houses, and privacy. However, residents of the Green Parking Zone evaluated those conditions positively. Fourth, people who were well-informed about the Green Parking Project had low anxiety about security and invasion of privacy, results from the project. Therefore, effective public relations are very important for expanding participation and raising awareness.

        I. 아동의 외부활동을 위한 공간으로서 대구시 단독주택지 주거환경과 거주자 의식에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study is to provide the information about improvement method of the detached housing area for children's outdoor activities. This study was accomplished by two research methods; the evaluation of physical environment of two detached housing areas, and the analyzation of satisfaction & consciousness of 190 residents. Outdoor spaces of detached housing area were divided into 6 areas (play space, education facility, commercial facility, green space, street space, and empty space & parking lot). And then, 6 outdoor spaces were evaluated about the physical characters such as accessibility, network, safety, variety, functional, natural elements. Also, the survey for resident's satisfaction and consciousness was used the Likert scale. According to the result of this study, many parts of the detached housing area were not good for children's outdoor activities, and the resident's satisfaction was low. In the sample detached housing areas, negative factors were car and motorcycle. And many residents pointed out the lack of natural elements, variety, and safety of outdoor space in dwelling area. Finally, this study suggested the several constitution method for the children's activities based on the results of evaluation and survey.

        지속가능한 주거지 실천사례 연구 - 정부와 민간차원의 도시 및 마을만들기 사례의 지속가능성 실천항목의 반영 -

        The purpose of this study was to provide basic information about the study of model development of sustainable housing area. This study identified the concept of sustainable development and the principles of the Habitat AgendaII. In the context, the 10 items of it were used to constitute the case study framework. This study found the planning characteristics through the case study of sustainable housing areas m Korea. The case for the study were 91 cases of Livable City Making of government and 43 cases of Urban Village Making of citizen group. And this study searched the missing point in the sustainable development concept of the practice cases. The research findings are as follows. First, the most practice cases had the aim of rehabilitation of the village functions. Second, in the cases of Livable City Making, residents practiced the rule as a participant for changing of their village. Third, in the cases of Urban Village Making, the scale were smaller than government's cases, but they tried the residents' health and welfare. Fourth, many cases applied the concept of sustainable development; environmental, social-cultural and economic sustainability, but some cases missed several principles of the Habitat Agenda.

        지속가능성의 함의를 고려한 주거지 계획특성 연구

        The purpose of this study was to provide basic information about the study of model development of sustainable housing area. So, this study identified the concept of sustainable development and condition after investigation Habitat Agenda II, and the 10 items of agenda were used to constitute the case study framework. This study found the development characteristics through the case study of 6 sustainable housing areas in the world(US, UK and Australia), and searched the missing point in the sustainable development concept. The major findings are summarized as follows: First, the attempt of environmental sustainability was restrictive such as minimal environment pollution and waste, water resource protection and conservation of nature ecosystem. Second, in social-culture sustainability, the effort of right to housing, solution of urban squatter and housing welfare eliminated. Third, in economic sustainability, the attempt of prevent natural disaster, technological and industrial disaster excluded.

        지속가능한 주거지 실현을 위한 계획적 고려사항 - 부산지역 '살고싶은 도시만들기' 실천사례 거주자 의견을 중심으로 -

        The purpose of this study was to determine the incomplete aspects of the government pilot project 'Livable City Making' Also, the study was conducted to consider a plan that residents will satisfy for the realization of the project. The study used a case study and a survey method in research process. For the case study, two projects in Busan that have similar planning were chosen. The contents of the survey included the residents' interest in their housing area, their recognition and opinions of the pilot project, their satisfaction about the environmental alterations, and their thought about conditions of sustainable housing. The main results of this study were as follows. First, the residents were satisfied with the alteration of the street space and the provision of green and open spaces. Meanwhile they revealed that the preservation of the natural environment and the vitalization of community are insufficient. Second, they also believed that the construction of the pedestrian streets, the provision of parking lots, and the remodeling of the deteriorated buildings are incomplete. Third, the residents believed that the following provisions need to be made for successful sustainable housing waste discharge needs to be minimized, facilities need to be used for saving energy, opportunities for employment need to be provided within their housing areas, and safe street spaces and comfortable traffic systems need to be provided.
