First Record of the Stichaeid Fish Chirolophis saitone (Perciformes: Stichaeidae) from Korea

        김맹진,최광호,최정화,이동우,김정윤 한국수산과학회 2013 Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences Vol.16 No.3

One specimen of Chirolophis saitone, belonging to the family Stichaeidae, was collected by a bottom trawl in the southern area of the Yellow Sea. The present specimen was characterized by 52 dorsal fin spines, 38 anal fin spines, a caudal fin with four vertical dark bands and an orbital region with three pairs of branched cirri. We propose a new Korean name, “Jak-eun-goe-do-ra-chi”, for C. saitone.

Two Unrecorded Species of the Snapper (Perciformes: Lutjanidae) Collected from Jeju Island, Korea

        김맹진,김병엽,김준상,송춘복 한국수산과학회 2012 Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences Vol.15 No.4

Two unrecorded species of the snapper, Lutjanus malabaricus (296.0 mm standard length [SL]) and L. stellatus (350.0 mm SL) belonging to the family Lutjanidae, were first collected from the western coastal waters of Jeju Island, Korea. L. malabaricus is characterized by having a dark marking on the upper half of the caudal peduncle, a band of vomerine teeth that does not protrude posteriorly at the middle, and nine anal soft rays. Compared to its Korean relative, L. malabaricus is distinguishable by having rows of scales that run obliquely in the dorsal-posterior direction above the lateral line (vs. parallel to the lateral line in L. argentimaculatus). L. stellatus can be identified by the absence of wavy blue lines on the head (vs. many blue lines in L. rivulatus) and presence of a white spot above the lateral line (vs. a black blotch on the lateral line in L. rivulatus). We propose new Korean names, Jin-hong-tung-dom” and “Huin-jeom-tung-dom,” for L. malabaricus and L. stellatus, respectively.

First Record of Epinephelus areolatus (Perciformes: Serranidae) from Korea

        김맹진,송춘복 한국수산과학회 2010 Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences Vol.13 No.4

One specimen of Epinephelus areolatus, belonging to the subfamily Epinephelinae of the family Serranidae, was collected by a hook from commercial longline fisheries in the coastal waters of Jeju Island, Korea. This species is mostly similar to E. chlorostigma, but the former is distinguished from the latter by having larger brown spots and a white posterior margin on the caudal fin. We propose a new Korean name “Dae-moon-ba-ri” for E. areolatus.

First record of Snyderina yamanokami (Pisces: Scorpaeniformes) from Korea

        김맹진,황의욱,송춘복 한국수산과학회 2010 Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences Vol.13 No.3

This is the first report of Snyderina yamanokami, from the subfamily Tetraroginae of the family Scorpaenidae, collected in Korea. The specimen (175.3 mm long) was caught in the coastal waters of Jeju Island on a commercial longline hook on 9 September 2009. This species is characterized by the following morphological traits: 9-11 dorsal fin rays, 5-6 anal fin rays, 13-15 pectoral fin rays, 5 ventral fin rays, pectoral fin tip reaching or extending past the origin of the anal fin, palatines toothless, and four dark spots on the middle of the body. We suggest a new Korean name, “Keun-mi-yeok-chi,” for S. yamanokami.

여행사의 직무교육이 직무수행능력과 조직몰입에 미치는 영향

        김맹진,임소영,천덕희 한국호텔리조트학회 2019 호텔리조트연구 Vol.18 No.1

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of job training on job performance ability and organizational commitment in travel agencies. A survey for empirical research was conducted on travel agency employees who sell package travel products in the top 10 outbound transmission performances. 200 questionnaires were distributed and 171 questionnaires were collected. 158 questionnaires were used for the empirical analysis, except for the 13 questionnaires that responded unfairly. For the analysis of the questionnaire, frequency analysis for demographics, Cronbach's α for reliability verification, factor analysis for validity verification, and regression analysis for verifying the relationship between variables were performed using the SPSS 22.0 statistical program. Result of factor analysis, job training of travel agency consisted of lecturer ability, training contents, training environment, and job performance ability and organizational commitment consisted of single dimension. Result of the hypothesis test, lecturer ability, training contents, and training environment have a significant effect on the job performance ability. And the training contents, training environment have a significant effect on organizational commitment of employees. However, lecturer ability did not affect the organizational commitment of employees.

First Record of the Honeycomb Filefish, Cantherhines pardalis (Tetraodontiformes: Monacanthidae) from Korea

        김맹진,한송헌,송춘복 한국어류학회 2017 韓國魚類學會誌 Vol.29 No.4

This is the first report of Cantherhines pardalis (Tetraodontiformes: Monacanthidae) from Korea. A single specimen (105.4 mm in SL) was collected from the coastal waters of Busan by gill net on 20 June, 2012. This species is characterized by having the following morphological traits: II, 34 dorsal fin rays; 31 anal fin rays; 13 pectoral fin rays; caudal peduncle without large spines; spine row on the lateral side of first dorsal spine distinct; posterior end of pelvic with encasing scales distinctly more protruding than ventral flap. This species is similar to C. dumerilii except for the number of spines on caudal peduncle (none in C. pardalis vs. two pairs in C. dumerilii). Based on morphological and molecular approaches, the specimen was identified as C. pardalis. We add C. pardalis to Korean fish fauna and propose the new Korean names “Yuk-gak-mu-nui-jwi-chi” for the species.

        김맹진 한국호텔관광학회 2017 호텔관광연구 Vol.19 No.3

Fast food restaurants have tried to give impressive taste and pleasant memories of promotion events using toys to children. It would be a strategy to maintain constant demand of fast food. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of fast food brand’s taste and promotion using toys experience on purchasing behaviors after adulthood, and to investigate the moderating effects of brand attitude between fast food brand’s taste, using toy promotion experience and purchasing behaviors. Data for the exploratory research collected by structured questionnaire from the undergraduates of a university in Seoul. In order to verify the hypothesis a frequency analysis, descriptive statistical analysis, factor analysis and multiple regression analysis were conducted using SPSS statistical package. Findings of the present study were as follows; First, taste and promotion using toys experiences were significant on the repurchase intention. That means experience of taste and promotion using toys during childhood and adolescence had positive effects on purchasing hamburgers as adults. Second, brand attitude had a significant moderating effect on the relation between taste and repurchase intention, but showed no moderating effect on the relation between promotion using toys experiences and repurchase intention.
