Metal (loid)s such as environmental contaminants affect food safety. Metal (loid)s exist trace extremely in agriculture products. Therefore it is important to analyze accurately about trace these metals. High resolution techniques and quality controls are needed to analyze these materials. In order to achieve quality results, standardized methods and techniques are required. So ISO(International Organization for Standardization) of laboratory proficiency testing is determination of laboratory testing performance by means of inter-laboratory comparison. The values have been derived as a consensus of a number of laboratories using a variety of methods. Proficiency tests were applied to analyze the metal(loid)s [inorganic arsenic (As), total As and cadmium (Cd)] in powdered rice FAPAS 07187 (Food Analysis Performance Assessment Scheme; February-April 2013). The rice powder sample was extracted with 1% HNO3 for inorganic As for microwave-assisted extraction using water at 95℃ for 90 min and their analysis by HPLC/ICPMS. Also, HNO3 for total As and Cd using microwave-assisted extraction using at 200℃ for 50 mins and analysis by ICP/MS. Validation check was performed for accuracy using CRM (NMIJ CRM 7503-a) for inorganic As, and CRM (IRMM-Rice CRM) for total arsenic and cadmium. The result were satisfactory. FAPAS 07187 the z-scores of inorganic As, total As and Cd in powdered rice were-1.8,-0.9 and 0.2(lzl<2, respectively).
The cryogenic vessel, storing a liquified solutions as LOX and $LN_2$, consists of a external vessel, internal vessel, thermal insulator and internal support. The internal support should be satisfied with mechanical strength not only to support weight of internal tank but also to maintain uniform space between external and internal tank in spite of external mechanical shock. However, excessive structure design of internal supports is able to increase the amount of heat conduction and the rate of vaporization. The thermal insulator, filled with space between a external and internal vessel, reduces the rate of heat transfer and guarantees the standing time of cryogenic vessel. Especially powder type of insulator has low thermal conductivity and reduce the specification of structure design. In order to evaluate the effect of insulator on structure design, the experiment set-up simulated cryogenic vessel was tested in shock environment according to thermal insulator. As a result, the behavior of internal support under external shock was understood and the design criteria was able to be suggested.
This study was intended to evaluate the long-term durability and develop the maintenance of fireproof spray coat. To that end, density and adhesion of fireproof spray coat on plate girder and H-beam at normal temperature were measured and the relationship with fire resistance performance was evaluated. The specimen was fabricated by spraying the coat on plate girder and H-beam and remained at normal temperature for 2 years. As a result of measuring the density of spray coat, the density was rapidly reduced in line with vaporization within 15 days and showed very little change to density since then. When it comes to adhesion over a long-term period, adhesion of 52.2% of vermiculite material appeared to increase in 2 years, while 44.8% of plaster material showed increased adhesion, indicating higher increase by vermiculite than plaster material. And as a result of reviewing adhesive strength and fire resistance performance, the higher the adhesion, the lower the heating temperature, indicating it's inverse proportion to fire resistance performance. The test proved that the fire resistance performance of the specimen on plate girder and H-beam became deteriorated over the time and as a result of comparing and reviewing the highest temperature after an 1-hour fire resistance test, spray coat with vermiculite material indicated the temperature 20℃higher on plate girder and the spray coat with plaster material also indicated the temperature range 10℃ higher on plate girder.
