동씨침을 포함한 한방치료로 호전된 정계정맥류로 인한 통증 치험 1례

Objectives: This study investigated the effectiveness of Dong's acupuncture for pain associated with a varicocele. Methods: A 23-year-old male patient visited for pain due to varicocele that occurred on March 2 and was treated with acupuncture and moxibustion three times on March 16, 17, and 19. The Numerical Rating Scale (NRS) was used to evaluate the patient's pain. Results: After the three treatments, the NRS scores decreased, and the patient's subjective symptoms improved. Also, the patient required no medication for a week from the date of treatment start. Conclusions: These findings demonstrate that Korean medicine may be an option for treating a painful varicocele, but further research is required for confirmation.

요양시설 노인을 위한 구강건강 평가 도구의 타당도와 신뢰도

Background: The elderly in long-term care facilities tend to have a diminished oral health status, with a high prevalence of dental caries and periodontal disease, as reduced cognitive function, joint mobility, and gait ability hinder the performance of oral hygiene. To improve the oral health of the elderly at long-term care facilities, it is necessary to have precise guidelines for oral health care and assessment; however, such guidelines are not readily available. Therefore, the present study aimed to develop an oral care assessment tool with verified reliability and validity. Methods: The participants in this study were 100 elderly patients at a care facilities and 10 clinical dental hygienists. Collected data were analyzed using the descriptive statistics, content validity index, and inter-rater reliability, as well as the analyses of intra-class correlation coefficient. Results: After a review of relevant literature, a preliminary questionnaire comprised of seven questions related to the evaluation of oral health was formed. After revising and supplementing the questions through a content validity test, a total of nine questions were selected. Conclusion: The novel assessment tool developed for the present study is anticipated to allow analyses of the level of problems related to oral health care before routine and professional care. Moreover, regular oral health status check-ups will enable the early diagnosis and treatment of diseases.

운동치료가 급성요통환자의 통증감소와 근력에 미치는 영향

Objectives : In these days Low back pain is most common, and the weakness of muscle strength is important factor. The aim of this study is to prove the influence of the exercise therapy on pain control and muscle strength in acute low back pain patient. Methods : Subjects of this research were 30 inpatients with acute low back pain from 2008. 3. 20 to 2008. 6. 20. 15 patients in each, 2 groups; Non exercise therapy, exercise therapy were divided and the conclusions for treatment are as follows. Results : 1. Regarding alleviation of pain by VAS, both non exercise therapy Group I and exercise therapy Group II showed significant decrease of VAS. 2. Muscle strengthening by extension and flexion peak torque, the exercise therapy Group II showed higher rate of improvement than the non exercise therapy Group I in extension peak torque. 3. Muscle strengthening by extension and flexion peak torque ratio, the exercise therapy Group II showed higher rate of improvement and distribution approach to normal ratio than the non exercise therapy Group I. Conclusions : Exercise therapy was effective in muscle strengthening of acute low back pain.

스마트 웨어러블 디바이스를 이용한 모바일 기반 사용자 피로도 측정 시스템 개발

최근 건강관리에 대한 관심이 높아지면서 건강상태를 모니터링 하기 위한 스마트 웨어러블 디바이스가 활용되어 오고 있다. 본 논문에서는 스마트 웨어러블 디바이스와 연동된 피로도 측정 시스템을 개발하였다. 충분히 휴식을 취하면 회복되는 신체적인 피로도와는 달리 정신적인 피로도는 일의 능률이나 집중력을 떨어트릴 수 있으므로 측정을 통해 정신 건강 상태를 모니터링 할 수 있다. 본 시스템은 스마트 웨어러블 디바이스에서 계측한 데이터를 스마트폰으로 전송하고 정신적인 피로도를 계산해주는 기능을 제공한다. 피로도를 측정하기 위한 피로도 인덱스를 개발하여 1부터 5까지의 수치로 표현하였다. 또한 피로도 계산 결과와 설문조사 결과와 비교하여 독립표본 t-검정을 실시한 결과 통계적으로 유의한 값이 나왔다. 본 시스템은 사용자들이 건강을 효율적으로 관리하는 데에 활용될 것이다.

비대면 시대 미술관 학교 연계 온라인 교육프로그램 사용자 경험 연구

본 연구는 비대면 시대에 따른 미술관과 초등학교 연계 온라인 교육프로그램을 중심으로 디지털 기술기반의 더 나은 교육 환경 조성을 위한 사용자 경험 유도 방안을 제안하고자 한다. 이에 국내외 실시하고 있는 미술관 온라인 교육프로그램 현황을 분석하고 사용자 경험을 측정하기 위해 참여한 어린이와 학급 교사를 대상으로 1차 온라인 설문을 진행하였으며, 2차로는 전문가를 대상으로 심층 인터뷰를 시행하였다. 연구 결과, 디지털 미디어를 활용한 학교 연계 교육프로그램의 장단점이 존재했다. 이에 부정적인 의견을 토대로 사용자의 만족도를 높이려는 방안을 제시하였다. 본 연구는 디지털 기술기반의 온라인 교육을 활성화하는 데 의의가 있다. 이 연구가 향후 초등학교에서 진행되는 비대면 온라인 미술 교육프로그램 사용자 경험에 대한 자료로 활용되고 나아가 실질적 활성화 방안을 논의하는 데 도움이 되기를 기대한다. This study aims to propose an effective user experience of online class in the non-face-to-face through case analysis, focusing on school-linked education programs with art museums for elementary classes. To analysis domestic and international cases of school-liked education programs with art museum and to measure user experience, we were conducted with task test, in-depth interviews and surveys with experts. As a result, there were the pros and cons about the programs. Based on this, we propose a better method to increase the satisfaction of user experience for children. This study is significant in activating digital technology-based online education. This study expected to used as data on the user experience of a non-face-to-face online art education program in elementary schools in the future.

패션 브랜드 이미지와 매장 공간 이미지의 상관관계 사례 연구

The purpose of this study is to analyze the correlation between fashion brand image and store space image. To investigate this study further, one of the luxury fashion brands was selected for a case study and surveys were conducted to 200 participants. This study evaluates the factors of fashion brand images that customers associate with a brand before stepping inside the flagship store. Also it analyzes the factors of store space image after the experience of the flagship store. As a result of the correlation analysis based on quantitative statistic measures, the fashion brand image and store space image coincided highest with extraordinary, young and strong characteristics. According to the space elements of the flagship store, the relationship of the brand image with the store image was investigated. As a result of analysis, customers felt the high correlation with the facade among the architectural elements of flagship store. This resulted in that customers consider that the black box of the facade represents originality of this fashion brand as a concept of spatial elements. As a practical implication, companies should understand that the architectural design is a very crucial component in designing the flagship store, as it gives customers their first impression about a brand. The brand image is required to be integrated through the exterior design of the store. The final conclusion of this study shows that the flagship store provides a space where you can experience the corporate value and brand through the space of brand experience and share an emotional image created by the brand as well.

This study analyzed the impact of working status on the intention to continue living in the Jjokbang of five major Jjokbang villages in Seoul. The purpose of the study is to find their continual living intention at Jjokbamg according to working status and to make policy suggestions regarding the job area. Using a survey method, the dependent variable is set as ‘intention to continue living in the Jjokbamg’, and the independent variables are largely set as demographic characteristics(age, gender, region) and social-economic characteristics(working status, monthly government grants amount, monthly income amount). The logit model was used to identify the relationship between the working status and other characteristics of Jjokbang residents and their intention to continue living in Jjokbang.
