The optical conductivity spectra were obtained in the single crystal with ab-plane and ac-plane of CePtSb and polycrystals of CePtSb and LaPtSb. The carrier concentrations in ac-plane and ab-plane were estimated to be 0.042 and 0.182 per molecule from intraband transition, respectively, which is consistent with the result of electrical resistivity. From analysis of interband transitions, the 4d state of Pt-ion in ac-plane ties in about 1.1eV lower energy than that in ab-plane while the 4f state of Ce-ion does about 2.8eV higher. The energy shift of these band causes the anisotropy of carrier concentration.

SAR 측정 및 교정 기술에 관한 한국-일본 공동 연구

한국의 전파연구소와 일본의 정보통신연구기구는 휴대전화와 같은 이동통신기기로부터 방사되는 전자파가 인체에 흡수되는 에너지 정도를 측정하는 전자파 흡수율(SAR) 평가에 대한 오차 연구를 공동으로 수행하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 동종의 SAR 시스템에서 프로브, 교정용 도파관 및 기준 다이폴 안테나를 상호 교체하여 교정하여 프로브의 교정인자를 구하고 유효성 검사를 통하여 교정 오차를 검증하였다. 프로브 교정에 대한 상호 오차는 0.2 ㏈ 이하의 결과를 얻었으며, 유효성 오차는 최대 0.28 ㏈를 얻었다. 그러나 SAR 외삽 알고리즘이 다를 경우는 최대 0.48 ㏈의 상대 오차를 보였다.

가족성 선종성 용종증은 전대장에 수 많은 선종성 용종있는 드문 유전성 질환이다. 최근 연구에 의하면, 가족성 선종성 용종증에서 용종은 대장뿐만 아니라 위, 십이지장, 회장과 공장에도 발생한다. 대장외 병변의 양상은 다양하며, 대장 용종은 암의 발생과 연관이 높아 만약 치료하지 않은 경우 악성화 가능성의 거의 100%이다. 가족성 선종성 용종증 환자에서 위저부에 용종 동반율은 27~73%로 적지 않은 수이며 위선종의 발생율도 60%로 많은 수가 동반된다18,19). 그러나 위암의 동반율은 1% 이하인 것으로 보고되었다20). 저자들은 가족성 선종성 용종증 진단후 전대장 절제 및 회장낭-항문 문합술을 시행 받은 환자에서 위 내시경상 다수의 중증도 이형성증의 위선종이 발견되어 수술적 치료를 한 환자를 경험하였기에 보고하는 바이다. Familial adenomatous polyposis (FAP) is a rare genetic disorder in which the large intestine is diffusely carpeted by numerous adenomatous polyps. According to the recent studies, FAP is a disease which produces polypoid lesions not only in the large intestine but also in the stomach, duodenum, ileum and jejunum. The natural course of extracolonic lesions is variable, but the colonic polyps are associated with high incidence of cancer. The risk of malignant change is virtually 100% if untreated. The incidence of gastric antral polyp with FAP was reported 27~73%. And prevalence of gastric adenoma with FAP was reported to 60%. And prevalence of gastric cancer with FAP was reported to less than1%. We experienced a case of gastric high grade adenomatous polyps treated by surgery, which was found after total colectomy and ileal pouch-anal anastomosis because of FAP.

In 1950s, until the end of the Korean War, economy of the Republic of Korea has been strongly oriented to agriculture. From 1960s to 1970s, four times successive Economic Development Plan has changed its economic aspects to the labor oriented export industry one. This change is connected with big problem. One of these problems which is important for the success is education in the field of technology. Then, College of Industrial Education at Chungnam National University is assigned being Koreas first, only and unique institution to educate the teachers for Technical High Schools, thus, to contribute to a prosperous development of the nation skilled manpower in a cardinal point. The main goal of this field study is to gather useful materials and informations, relevant and meaningful for the development of curricula measurments within the field of vocational technical education. This includes not only pre-vocational education in Technical High School but also the training of technical teachers at C.I.E.. After analysing the informations and results of this field study we can find quite a lot of possible recommendations for persons and institutions involved in vocational-technical education. But we will express only a certain amount of them, 1) Put higher emphasis on basic vocational qualifications ! 2) Provide realistic perspectives towards the world of work ! 3) Link theory and practice in vocational-technical education ! 4) Develop an active qualification strategy in schools ! 5) Develop thoroughly appropriate curricula ! 6) Reduce the number of students in classes ! 7) Adapt the equipment of schools towards educational goals ! 8) Integrate vocational practice into technical education !

VECTOR의 圖式的 解法에 對한 考察(Ⅰ)

Vector is a line segment which has the sense, direction and magnitude. The length of vector generally will obtain by mathematic method and graphic method. In this paper I have solved by the graphic method the problems of two nonparallel vectors in plane, two parallel vectors in plane and in space, three parallel vectors in space. I have found the problems can be solved easily by the graphic method than by method of mathematics. The applied problems by graphic method will be discussed in the part Ⅱ.

Mercury has been used widely in many industries and medicines throughout the centuries. Three forms of mercury exist as elemental, inorganic and organic. Mercury poisoning can result from vapor inhalation, ingestion, injection, or absorption through the skin. The pulmonary system is most affected in acute inhalation exposure of elemental mercury vapor. The reports of acute poisoning after inhalation of mercury vapor are rare. We report a case of a 63-year old man with chemical pneumonitis after inhalation of mercury vapor as folk remedy. After d-penicillamine as chelating agent and steroid treatment, symptoms and radiologic findings are improved.

When the axis of spin changes its angle vertical in rotating, the angular velocity of precession is varied according as the angle between the axis of spin and the vertical axis, The pencil-like spin requres very high angular velocity to keep the axis vertical. We have been experienced the fact above usually. While the ratio of A/T is very small, it is convenient to use the formular Ф=(Mg·a)/(I·w) for calculating the angular velocity of the precession instead of the formular(5) above.

막성 장염과 함께 발생한 반코마이신 내성 장구균 요로감염 1예

Infections are the second leading cause of mortality among patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD). Recently, colonization or infection with vancomycin-resistant enterococci (VRE) is increasing in prevalence at many institutions and is often reported in dialysis patients. Enterococci are generally considered to be of low pathogenicity but may cause urinary tract infection, bacteremia, endocarditis or meningitis in debilitated patients. Three cases of VRE peritonitis in patients on CAPD were reported, but there was no report of VRE urinary tract infection (UTI) in hemodialysis patients in Korea. We present a case of VRE UTI with pseudomembranous colitis (PMC) in an ESRD patient with anal VRE colonization. The VRE UTI was treated successfully with linezolid.
