Purpose: To evaluate whether or not sodium restriction had its own beneficial effect and increased the efficiency of the anti-hypertensive drugs on the progression of renal failure. Methods: We studied using the excision remnant kidney model. Treatment groups were as follows: 5/6 nephrectomy and a 0.49% (normal-high) sodium diet (NN); 5/6 nephrectomy and a 0.25% (normal-low) sodium diet (LN); 5/6 nephrectomy, a 0.49% sodium diet and enalapril (NNE); 5/6 nephrectomy, a 0.49% sodium diet and nicardipine (NNN); 5/6 nephrectomy, a 0.25% sodium diet and enalapril (LNE); 5/6 nephrectomy, a 0.25% sodium diet and nicardipine (LNN). Both diets were isocaloric and had the same content of protein, phosphorus and calcium. Proteinuria, remnant kidney weight, mesangial expansion scores, and glomerular volume were assessed. Results: Blood pressure tended to be lower in LN compared to NN (P<0.05). NN developed progressive hypertension. LNE, LU, NNE, and NNN reduced blood pressure. LNE, LNN, NNE, NNN, and LN had significantly less proteinuria than NN at 16 weeks (P<0.05). At 24 weeks, LN developed proteinuria (82 mg/day), which were lessened in LNE (54 mg/day) and not lessened in LNN (76 mg/day). Mesangial expansion scores were significantly less in LN rats compared to those in NN rats. Glomerular volumes at 24 weeks in LN rats were significantly less compared to those at 16 weeks in NN rats. Mesangial expansion scores and glomerular volumes at 4, weeks, 12 weeks, and 24 weeks were not different among LN, LNE, and LNN groups. Conclusion: Dietary salt restriction lessens renal damage, at least in part, by inhibiting compensatory renal growth and reducing blood pressure. Enalapril was particularly successful in reducing proteinuria and glomerular injury when combined with dietary salt restriction.

현재 건축물의 높이가 높아지고 우리나라 가구 형태가 개인 주택에서 아파트로 변화함에 따라 타워크레인의 사용 횟수는 계속해서 증가하고 있다. 그러나 이처럼 증가하는 타워크레인 사용 횟수에 반해 우리나라 타워크레인 관련 정책은 매우 미비한 실정이다. 특히 타워크레인과 관련된 사고의 원인 중 가장 큰 비중을 차지하는 타워크레인 연식에 대한 기준은 그 설정 근거가 부족하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 이와 같은 문제점에 주목하여 타워크레인의 보다 신뢰성 있는 타워크레인의 연식을 설정하는 연구를 진행한다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 기존 연구에서 사용했던 사례와 영국 타워크레인 기준을 바탕으로 사용 연식을 설정한다.

Pretreatment of Sugarcane Molasses and Citric Acid Production by Candida zeylanoides

Citric acid is produced via submerged fermentation using yeasts. Among eight different strains of yeast, Candida zeylanoides was chosen as the strain for producing citric acid and optimized for various C/N ratios and effects of phosphate or Fe<sup>2+</sup> ions in a clean carbon source medium (glucose: fructose, 1:1). The yield of citric acid was maximized at a C/N ratio of 40/1, a phosphate addition of 1.0 g/l, and an Fe<sup>2+</sup> ion concentration of less than 50 mg/l, yielding up to 91 g/L in the broth with 18.5 g/l of isocitric acid in a six-day fermentation period using a pre-treated molasses medium. The yield of batch culture was 0.51 (Y<sub>p/s</sub>, g/g) in a 5 L-Jar fermenter.

고령층 일자리연계를 위한 드론테크산업 교육에 관한 연구

Recently, the drone industry rapidly rises to the surface as the new market leading the future, and it seems that the hot UAV drone market shows the similar trend to that of the smartphone. It is expected that the individual application of the drone is quickly diffused as the smartphone roles of camera and game player with the communication medium. For example, the drone is developed mainly as war weapons, but now it is getting close to our real life as the toy or tool for the aerial photography. In this paper, we studied the education for how to bring the aging population to the drone industry. Previously, the controlling skill and taking aerial photography seemed to have nothing to do with citizen seniors. However, we develop the education for try to show any positive relationship between those, in this paper, thus creating more job opportunities for them.

고령층의 창업은 취업보다 어렵다고 한다. 그러나 고령층도 IoT분야에 개발을 해 낼수 있다는 확신을 이번 교육을 통해 실험 연구가 되었다. 개발을 해 낼수 있다는 것은 무언가를 개발하여 창업을 할 수 있다는 증명을 이번 고령층IT 창업교육을 통해 나타나게 되었다. 기존의 프로그램 교육만으로 문제점이 되었던 것을 아두이노 및 스크래치의 H/W 와 S/W의 접목교육이 고령층IT창업교육에 높은 효과를 두었다. IoT를 통한 고령층IT창업교육은 일반적인 교육과목보다는 좀 더 심도 높은 과목이지만 이번 창업교육을 통해 고령층에게도 쉽게 접근할수 있는 연구결과를 나타나게 되었다. 그 결과에 따른 활용사례를 나타내 보기로 한다.
