        영상지도와 마커인식을 활용한 무인비행체 자율 착륙 시스템

        This paper presents an autonomous landing system for a small unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). The proposed system utilizes a simultaneous localization and mapping algorithm to approach a pre-defined marker. As the UAV approaches the marker, the proposed system elevates the altitude of the UAV such that the perception of the marker is improved. Thereafter, Hough transform is used to recognize the marker and the UAV is landed on the marker accurately by utilizing altitude-varying PID control. Experimental results show that the proposed system accurately detects and lands a small UAV. We believe that the proposed system can be used for wireless battery charging systems and can be applied to UAVs in various industrial fields.

        전자 이동 모델과 산화수 변화 모델에 대한 화학 I 교육과정과 교과서 분석 및 화학교육전공 교사들의 인식 조사

        In this study, we analyzed the descriptions of the electron movement model and the oxidation number change model presented in the 2009 revised curriculum and textbooks. We also investigated chemistry education major teachers' conceptions of limitations of each model. The electron movement model and oxidation number change model were presented in the curriculum and the textbooks. However, hybrid model was also presented which fail to grasp the limitation of each model. The hybrid model explains redox reactions of covalent bond compounds by electron movement model or even if it explains redox reactions by oxidation number change model, this explanations have the problem of confusing the virtual electron movement with the actual electron movement. A questionnaire and interviews were conducted to investigate chemistry education major teachers' perceptions of redox reactions. As results, many teachers did not recognize the limitations of each model and had difficulties to distinguish redox reactions from acid-base reactions because of the hybrid model. 이 연구에서는 2009개정 교육과정 및 화학 I 교과서에 제시된 전자 이동 모델과 산화수 변화 모델의 서술방식을 분석하고, 화학교육전공 교사들을 대상으로 각 모델의 제한 조건에 대한 인식을 알아보았다. 교육과정과 교과서에서는 전자 이동 모델, 산화수 변화 모델을 제시하고 있으나, 각 모델의 제한 조건을 무시한 혼성 모델도 있었다. 혼성 모델은 공유결합 물질의 산화 환원 반응을 전자 이동 모델로 기술하거나 산화수 개념으로 설명하는 경우에도 가상적인 전자 이동과 실제적인 전자 이동을 혼동하게 하는 문제를 가진다. 산화 환원 반응에 대한 화학교육전공 교사들의 인식을 조사하기 위하여 설문지 및 면담을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 많은 교사들이 각 모델의 제한 조건을 인식하지 못하고 있었으며, 혼성 모델로 인해 산화 환원 반응을 산 염기반응과 구분하는데 어려움을 가지는 것으로 나타났다.

        Efficacy and Toxicity of Mammalian Target Rapamycin Inhibitors in Patients with Metastatic Renal Cell Carcinoma with Renal Insufficiency: The Korean Cancer Study Group GU 14-08

        Purpose We evaluated the efficacy and toxicity of mammalian target rapamycin inhibitors in Korean patients with metastatic renal cell carcinoma (mRCC) with chronic renal insufficiency not requiring dialysis. Materials and Methods Korean patients with mRCC and chronic renal insufficiency not requiring dialysis treated with everolimus or temsirolimus between January 2008 and December 2014 were included. Patient characteristics, clinical outcomes, and toxicities were evaluated. Overall survival (OS) and progression-free survival (PFS) durations were evaluated according to the degree of renal impairment. Results Eighteen patients were considered eligible for the study (median age, 59 years). The median glomerular filtration rate was 51.5 mL/min/1.73 m2. The best response was partial response in six patients and stable disease in 11 patients. The median PFS and OS durations were 8 months (95% confidence interval [CI], 0 to 20.4) and 32 months (95% CI, 27.5 to 36.5), respectively. The most common non-hematologic and grade 3/4 adverse events included stomatitis, fatigue, flu-like symptoms, and anorexia as well as elevated creatinine level. Conclusion Mammalian target rapamycin inhibitors were efficacious and did not increase toxicity in Korean patients with mRCC and chronic renal insufficiency not requiring dialysis.

        개에서 외이도염 및 정상외이도에서 분리한 세균총에 대한 연구

        This study was conducted to examine the outbreak rate and the causative agents of otitis externa in 26 dogs (49 ears ; 23 dogs = bilateral, 3 dogs = unilateral), and the normal microfloras of external ear canal in 68 dogs(133 ears ; 65 dogs = bilateral, 3 dogs = unilateral ) in Taegu, 1997. The breed, living environment, sex, age and season distribution of otitic dogs were as follows : Dogs with erect and hairy ears(42.3%), pendulous and hairy ears(38.5%), indoor(92.3%), female(65.4%) and below one year old(38.5%) were more prevalent. According to season, otitis externa was mainly occurred between July and October. The major causative agents of canine otitis externa were Malassezia pachydermatis (32.7%), Staphylococcus aureus (26.5%) and S intermedius (16.3%). In the microorganism isolated 39 otitic ear canals, single infection was 53.8% and mixed infection was 46.2%. The normal microfloras of canine external ear canal were fungi including M pachydermatis, Aspergillus spp, Microsporum canis, Alternaria spp, Verticillium spp and Yeast, and bacteria including Staphylococcus spp(10 species including S xylosus), Bacillus spp, Corynebacterium spp, Listeria spp, Actinomyces pyogenes and Escherichia coli. No growth was 34.6%.

        모델링 실천을 통한 과학 영재학생들의 메타모델링 지식 구성요소별 인식수준 분석

        The purpose of this study is to obtain basic data for constructing a modeling practice program integrated with meta-modeling knowledge by analyzing the cognition level for each meta-modeling knowledge components through model- ing practice in the context of the chemistry discipline content. A chemistry teacher conducted inquiry-based modeling prac- tice including anomalous phenomena for 16 students in the second year of a science gifted school, and in order to analyze the cognition level for each of the three meta-modeling knowledge components such as model variability, model multiplicity, and modeling process, the inquiry notes recorded by the students and observation note recorded by the researcher were used for analysis. The recognition level was classified from 0 to 3 levels. As a result of the analysis, it was found that the cognition level of the modeling process was the highest and the cognition level of the multiplicity of the model was the lowest. The cause of the low recognitive level of model variability is closely related to students' perception of conceptual models as objec- tive facts. The cause of the low cognitive level of model multiplicity has to do with the belief that there can only be one cor- rect model for a given phenomenon. Students elaborated conceptual models using symbolic models such as chemical symbols, but lacked recognition of the importance of data interpretation affecting the entire modeling process. It is necessary to intro- duce preliminary activities that can explicitly guide the nature of the model, and guide the importance of data interpretation through specific examples. Training to consider and verify the acceptability of the proposed model from a different point of view than mine should be done through a modeling practice program. 본 연구는 화학교과 내용 맥락 하에서 모델링 실천을 통해 드러난 메타모델링 지식 구성요소별 인식수준을 진단함으로써 메타모델링 지식과 통합된 모델링 실천 프로그램 구성을 위한 기초자료를 얻고자 하였다 . A 과학 영재학교 2학년 재학생 16명을 대상으로 화학 교사가 변칙현상이 포함된 탐구기반 모델링을 진행하였으며 , 모델의 가변성 , 모델의 다중성 , 모델링 과정 등 메타모델링 지식 구성요소별 인식수준을 분석하기 위하여 학생이 기록한 탐구노트와 연구자가 기록한 관찰노트를 분석에 활용하였다 . 인식수준은 0단계부터 3단계까지 분류하였다 . 분석 결과 , 메타모델링 지식의 구성요소 중 모델링 과정에 대한 인식수준이 가장 높았으며 모델의 다중성 다음으로 모델의 가변성에 대한 인식수준이 가장 낮은 것으로 나타났다 . 모델 가변성에 대한 낮은 인식수준의 원인은 학생들이 개념모델을 객관적 사실로 인식하는 것과 관련이 깊고 , 모델 다중성에대한 낮은 인식수준의 원인은 주어진 현상에 대해 오직 하나의 올바른 모델이 존재한다는 신념과 관련이 있다 . 학생들은 개념모델을 화학기호와 같은 상징적 모델을 이용하여 정교화하였으나 모델링 전 과정에 영향을 주는 자료해석의 중요성에 대한 인식이 부족하였다 . 모델의 본성을 명시적으로 안내할 수 있는 사전활동의 도입하고 , 자료해석의 중요성을 구체적 예시를통해 안내할 필요가 있다 . 다른 관점에서 제안된 모델의 수용 가능성을 고려하고 검증하는 훈련이 모델링 실천 프로그램을통해 이루어져야 한다.

      • 베체트병 환자에서 Azathioprine으로 유발된 급성 췌장염 1례

        Although many drug are thought capable of initiating acute pancreatitis, following azathioprine administration represents the 5% incidence by far the highest recorded incidence to date. We report a 35-year-old male who developed acute pancreatitis in the course of treatment with azathioprine for Behcet's disease. He was admitted due to abdominal pain, diarrhea, and fever for 10 days. Serum amylase and lipase levels were 510U/L and 3702U/L respectively. The abdominal CT scan revealed diffuse enlargement of the pancreas. There was no history of alcohol use or gall bladder disease. We considered drugs, especially azathioprine, as the cause of acute pancreatitis. We diagnosed it as acute pancreatitis. The patient was treated conservatively with hydration and analgesics. The symptom subsided within four days. Five days later, azathioprine was resumed. And the patient complained of abdominal pain. The elevated levels of serum amylase and lipase confirmed the recurrence of pancreatitis. His symptom subsided when azathioprine intake the stopped, and the serum amylase and lipase levels returned to normal level within five days.

        Thapsigargin Increases IL-2 Production in T Cells at Nanomolar Concentrations

        Thapsigargin (TGN) is a potent and selective inhibitor of sarco-endoplasmic Ca2+-ATPase, leading to rapid elevation of cytoplasmic Ca2+ concentration. Previous reports have shown that TGN increases the production of various cytokines from macrophages and dendritic cells. Here, we examine the effects of TGN on murine T cells. Nanomolar concentrations of TGN are a significant inducer of IL-2 production with full activity at 50 nM. Micromolar concentrations of TGN, however, are inhibitory to IL-2 production and T cell proliferation. The IL-2 production-inducing activity of TGN is much more prominent when T cells are primed with concanavalin A or anti-CD3 mAb, and is due to the increase of cytoplasmic Ca2+ concentration. TGN at 50 nM does not affect interferon-gamma or IL-4 production from T cells. Thus, the present study shows that low nanomolar concentrations of TGN could be useful in potentiating IL-2 production from antigen-primed T cells.

        2009 및 2015 개정 교육과정의 화학 교과서에서 모델 관련 내용 분석: 수용액 전기 분해를 중심으로

        The purpose of this study is to compare the contents of chemistry textbooks developed according to the 2015 revised curriculum with the contents of the 2009 revised curriculum to research the change in “the development and use of models”. To do this, we analyzed 8 kinds of Chemistry I textbooks and 6 kinds of Chemistry II textbooks from the 2015 revised curriculum and compared them with 4 kinds of Chemistry I textbooks and 4 kinds of Chemistry II textbooks from the 2009 revised curriculum. The scope of the analysis was the explanations of the textbooks related to aqueous electrolysis experiments. In order to compare the contents regarding electrolytes when the same experiments are interpreted with different models, we analyzed contents of 4 kinds of middle school science textbooks from the 2015 revised curriculum and 9 kinds of middle school science textbooks from the 2009 revised curriculum. As a result of the analysis, the same experiment was explained by different models according to the grade level and unit, and all explanations were limited to a single model. Also, the tendency to limit the kinds of electrolytes for controlled experimental results is more pronounced in the 2015 revised curriculum than in the 2009 revised curriculum. From this results, we suggest that efforts are needed to reflect the “development and use of models” in chemistry textbooks developed according to the 2015 revised curriculum. 이 연구에서는 2015 개정 교육과정의 교과서에서 “모델의 개발과 사용”이라는 항목에서 변화가 있는지 확인하기 위하여 2009 개정 교육과정의 교과서 내용과 비교 분석하였다. 이를 위하여 2015 개정 교육과정의 화학 I 교과서 8종, 화학 II 교과서 6 종을 분석하였으며, 2009 개정 교육과정의 화학 I 교과서 4종, 화학 II 교과서 4종을 비교 분석하였다. 분석 범위는 수용액의 전 기 분해에 관련된 내용만 선택하였다. 또한 동일한 실험을 다른 모델로 해석하는 전해질 관련 내용을 비교하기 위하여 2015 개 정 교육과정 중학교 과학 2 교과서 4종의 관련 단원 내용을 2009 개정 교육과정의 중학교 과학 2 교과서 9종과 비교 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 학년과 단원에 따라 동일한 실험을 다른 모델로 설명하고 있었으며, 모든 설명은 단일 모델로 제한하여 제시하였다. 또 한 모델과 일치하지 않을 수 있는 실험 결과가 나오는 전해질의 종류를 제한하는 경향이 2009 개정 교육과정보다 2015 개정 교 육과정에서 더 뚜렷하게 나타났다. 이 결과는 2015 개정 교육과정에서 개발된 교과서에서 “모델의 개발과 사용”을 반영하기 위 한 노력이 필요함을 시사한다.
