        유아 정서지능 발달에 관한 연구

        This investigation of developmental trends in children`s emotional intelligence used the Emotional Intelligence Rating Scale for Preschool Children(Kim, 1998) to study 973 children. Significant age differences were found in 5 factors: `utilization of emotion`, `regulation of emotion`, `handling of relationship between child and teacher` and `handling of relationship with peers`. Children`s emotional intelligence scores increased with age in 3 factors: `utilization of emotion`, `empathy`, and `regulation of emotion`. Sex differences were found in 5 factors: `utilization of emotion`, `empathy`, `appraisal and expression of self emotion`, `regulation of emotion`, and `handling of relationship between child and teacher`. In all factors, the scores of girls were higher than chose the scores of boys.

        자연체험과 자연물을 이용한 놀이 활동이 4∼5세 유아의 유치원 적응에 미치는 효과

        본 연구의 목적은 자연체험과 자연물을 이용한 놀이 활동이 4세와 5세 유아의 유치원 적응에 미치는 효과를 검증하는 것이다. 연구대상은 경기도에 소재한 2개 유치원에 재원하고 있는 만 5세와 4세 유아 101명으로 실험집단 51명과 비교집단 50명이다. 실험집단에게 자연체험과 자연물을 이용한 놀이 활동을 12주간 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 20.0 프로그램을 이용하여 평균과 표준편차, 신뢰도 계수를 구하였고 독립표본 t - test, 공변량분석(ANCOVA), 이원배치분산분석(Two-Way ANOVA)을 하였다. 자연체험과 자연물을 이용한 놀이 활동에 참여한 실험집단 유아는 비교집단 유아에 비해 유치원 적응 점수가 유의하게 높았다. 유아의 유치원 적응은 연령과 실험참여 여부에 따라 주효과가 있었으나 상호작용 효과는 없었다. 이는 자연체험과 자연물을 이용한 놀이 활동이 유아의 유치원 적응에 긍정적 효과가 있데 연령에 따라 실험효과는 다르지 않음을 의미한다. 본 연구의 결과는 유아교육 현장에서 유아의 유치원 적응을 돕는 방안으로 자연체험과 자연물을 이용한 놀이 활동을 개발하고 실천하는데 있어 의미 있는 자료로 활용될 것으로 기대한다. The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of natural experiences and play activities using natural objects on kindergarten adaptation of 4 and 5 years old children. One hundred one kindergarteners participated in this study(N = 51 in experimental groups and N = 50 in comparison group). Experimental group had a 12-week program, called natural experiences and play activities using natural objects. Multiple analytical approaches were employed including Independent sample t - test and ANCOVA, 2-Way ANOVA using the SPSS 20.0 program. Findings showed that children in the experimental group presented higher scores in the kindergarten adaptation than children in the comparison group. Kindergarten adaptation of young children was mainly influenced by age and experiment participation, but there was no interaction effect. This means that natural experience and play activities using natural objects had a positive effect on the kindergarten adaptation, but the experimental effect was not different according to age. These findings can be used as an important resource for developing and practicing play activities using natural experiences and natural objects in early childhood education as a way to promote young children's kindergarten adaptation.

        부모의 사회인구학적 변인과 거부적 양육태도, 유아의 인성이 유아의 창의성에 미치는 영향

        본 연구의 목적은 부모의 사회인구학적 변인과 거부적 양육태도, 유아의 인성이 유아의 창의성에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 알아보는 것이다. 연구대상은 80명의 유아와 이들의 부모이다. 유아를 대상으로 창의성 검사를 하였고 교사를 통해 유아의 인성을 평정하였다. 부모에게 설문지를 배부하여 사회인구학적 특성과 양육태도를 조사하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 20.0 프로그램을 이용하여 Cronbach`s α Pearson의 상관관계, 위계적 중다회귀분석 등을 분석하였다. 연구결과를 보면 유아의 창의성은 부모의 연령과 유의한 부적인 상관이 있었으나 부모의 학력, 거부적 양육태도, 가구의 월 평균 소득 등과는 유의한 상관이 없었다. 즉 부모의 연령이 적을수록 자녀의 창의성 점수는 높았다. 유아의 창의성과 유아의 인성은 정적인 상관이 있어 유아의 인성 점수가 높으면 창의성 점수도 유의하게 높았다. 유아의 창의성을 유의하게 설명하는 변인은 유아인성과 어머니의 연령이었다. 본 연구는 유아의 인성과 창의성의 관계를 확인하고 창의성에 영향을 주는 변인을 밝혔다는 점에서 의의가 있다. The purpose of this study was to examine the social demographic variables of parents, rejective parenting style, and humanity of children, and its impact on the creativity of children. The subjects of this study were 80 children and their parents. Creativity and humanity were measured from children, while the demographic variables of parents and their parenting attitude were examined by their parents. The collected data were used to conduct Cronbach`s α, Pearson correlation, hierarchical multiple regression analysis using the SPSS 20.0 program. Research results showed that the creativity of children had negative correlation with the age of parents. In other words, the younger the age of the parent, the higher the creativity score of their children. Creativity of children and humanity of children had positive correlation, so when the humanity score of children was higher, so was their creativity score. A variable that significantly explains the creativity of children was the humanity of the child and the age of the mother. This study is significant in that it reveals variables that affect the creativity of children.

        유아의 사회적 능력과 정서지능과의 관계에 대한 연구

        This study examined the factor structure of social competence and the relationship between social competence and emotional intelligence in preschool children. The subjects were 503 3- to 6-year-old children. Instruments were the Emotional Intelligence Rating Scale for Preschool Children and The Social Competence Scale. The validity and reliability of the factor structures of The Social Competence Scale were confirmed. These factors were initiative, ability, and sociability. The relationship between The Social Competence Scale and the emotional intelligence scale was highly significant (r=.29, p<.001). Three sub-factors of The Social Competence Scale were significantly related to the total emotional intelligence score. Among the six sub-factors of emotional intelligence, 5 were related to the total score of social competence. These were utilization of emotion, empathy, appraisal and expression of self emotion, relationship with teacher, and relationship with peers.

      • 맞벌이 가정의 부모를 위한 부모교육 프로그램 개발

        Nowadays, "dual career family" has appeared because of an increase of working mothers. In case of dual career family. the family members are to experience certain strains and stresses(pressure). Especialy in Korea - lack of institutional and administrative support for dual career family-"child care is one of the biggest problems they have to meet. In other words, parents have experienced difficulty in caregiving because moth-ers should take a big role not only in social works but also in family works, and their role-taking of householding and caregiving between father and mother is not in clearance. To solve this kind of problems that dual career family are involved in, administrative support is needed. So we have designed parent education program to support them.

      • 幼兒教育機關可及父母教育

        The majority of studies agree that the beginning of intellectual as wall as social development takes place in the first few years of life. Parents are primary agents in the children's growth, rather than teachers. Therefore, parent education program helps arent become more knowledgeable about their roles and responsibilities in enhancing their children's development. The purpose of this study is to describe the actual conditions and the problems of he program for parent education whith place in kindergartens. This is a survey study and the questionaire used in this study was prepard by esearcher. The objects of the investigation are twenty-two kindergartens around Kim-Chan City. The results are as fallows : 1. In spite of general recognition about the necessity and importance of parent ducation in kindergarten, systematic education for parents is not being executed. 2. When there is a program for parent education in kindergarten, it appears that early 70% of parents participates the program. 3. Many kind of program for parent education was being performed in kindergartens, but the pattern of the parent participation appeared to be passive rather then active. 4. Most parent education is focused on the needs of the kindergarten rather than the parents.

      • Rousseau의 「Emile」에 나타난 아동교육원리 탐색

        Rousseau's natural idea of education which demanded the idealization of education in absolutely pure condition can be simply described as 'return to the nature'. Rousseau's naturalism education idea which represented that age, had much influence on posterior education in theoretical and pratical aspect. In Emile), Rousseau tried to carry out a reform human education by making growth freely according to the nature and corresponding with the nature. That is, he thought that education must harmonize with uncorrupted human nature. Education is conducted by three kinds of teachers in Emile). He maintained that inborn chracteristic and ability of children are developed as total naturc principle by maintaining education by nature, by matters and human. We need to understand his principles of child cducation in Emile ] exactly. So, first of all, it observed the periodic and cducation-historical background of his thoughts at that age. Secondly, it observed the meaning of nature as the center of his idea. Thirdly, it examined the principles of child education in Emiled. Fourthly, it tried to reiluminate his education idea which had influence on present education from present viewpoint. Above all his principles of child education became the bridge of present education method. And educations which focus on child, individuality, life, and activity expression are all the grace of Rousseau's naturalism education. Rousseau's education idea had in fluence on Pestalozzi, Fröbel, E. Key, Dewey and Montessori in particular. Rousseau's educational idea caused innovative change and development about children's education. It's been or the important situation for the educational idea and its affection to modern education must be great. But as We've seen above, there seems to be lots of parts that we don't accept easily. If his education is proper for human being as he intended we've got to understand about his educational idea more detaily and exactly. In conclusion, we can say that his educational thought is education project resisting to all restriction that tends to repress freedom and individuality of human.​

      • 생활주기 관점에서 본 아동과 가족의 상호작용

        Developmental research is to find human and environment relationship. There are live theories for explain development of human being, namely, mechanistic approach, orga-nismic approach, psychoanlytic approach, humanistic approach, and life-span approach. In the midst of these theories, life-span approach is the best method for explaining so-cialization of child. This study investigates child-family interaction at the point of life-span by reviewing related literatures. At the viewpoint of life-span, we can say that, human being is changing organism throughout the whole life, and family is also social pattern which structure and function change continuously. Child's age and family lify cycle influence on child's socialization. And in the course of socialization, parent and child interaction must change according to developmental stage of child. Therefore, parent must lead regulation and self-regulation, and transfer leadership and a sense of responsibility adeguately to ability of child.​
