$Y(OH)_3$ nanowires were synthesized by a hydrothermal reaction of metallic Y with aqueous solution of LiOH. The morphology and the size of the nanowires changed with varying the volume of the LiOH solution inside the autoclave. $Y(OH)_3$ nanowires transformed to $Y_2O_3$ by a subsequent heat-treatment without morphological change. By a proper control of hydrothermal reaction parameter and heat-treatment, the yield of pure $Y_2O_3$ nanowires up to 97% was attained.
Minimal Leakage Pattern Generator

This paper proposes a new input pattern generator for minimal leakage power in the nanometer CMOS technology considering all the leakage current components (sub-threshold leakage, gate tunneling leakage, band-to-band tunneling leakage). Using the accurate macro-model, a heuristic algorithm is developed to generate a input pattern for the minimum leakage. The algorithm applies to ISCAS85 benchmark circuits, and the results are compared with the results of Hspice. The simulation result shows that our method's accuracy is within a 5% difference of the Hspice simulation results. In addition, the simulation time of our method is far faster than that of the Hspice simulation.

In this study, external condensation heat transfer coefficients (HTCs) of two non-azeotropic refrigerant mixtures of HFC32/HFC134a and HF0134a/HCF0123 at various compositions were measured on both low fin and Turbo-C enhanced tubes of 19.0 mm outside diameter All data were taken at the vapor temperature of 39$^{\circ}C$ with a wall subcooling of 3- 8 K. Test results showed that HTCs of the tested mixtures on the enhanced tubes were much lower than the ideal values calculated by the mass fraction weighting of the pure compo- nents'HTCs. Also the reduction of HTCs due to the diffusion vapor film was much larger than that of a plain tube. Unlike HTCs of pure fluids, HTCs of the mixtures measured on enhanced tubes increased as the wall subcooling increased, which was due to the sudden break up of the vapor diffusion film with an increase in wall subcooling. Finally, heat transfer enhancement ratios for mixtures were found to be much lower than those of pure fluids.

For effective pre-construction process, engineers create a 4D building information model (BIM). However, the rich information associated with the creation of the 4D BIM leads to manual effort. Past studies explored methods that automatically generate construction schedules using 3D building models. However, no method properly utilized relationships between building elements to robustly generate 4D BIMs that are structural stable during installation. This research presents an approach to the automated generation of structurally stable construction sequences using a 3D BIM. Focusing on steel erection, we create a framework integrating a 3D BIM and algorithms to create a 4D BIM with detailed steel erection sequences of individual elements. This research explores an approach to a variation of static indeterminacy for each installation process of steel elements. The principle of this approach is based on the relationships among the nodes and the connections among steel elements, information about which is available to those involved in the project. For validation, we test a prototype software program using a BIM for a real-world construction project. The results indicate that the prototype utilizing the static indeterminacy variation could generate a large number of random sequences and successfully transforms them into stable sequences. This study establishes the foundational step of generating constructible sequences using structural information in BIM which is found to be more robust than previous approaches, and results of this study can lead to follow up studies for full automation such as automated analysis and optimization of the sequences.
경추간반탈출증환자에 대한 후방 추궁 절제 및 추간공확장술의 수술 결과

Objective : Whether the anterior approach is better than the posterior one for cervical disc disease still remains unsettled. However, anterior discectomy and fusion procedures for all types of discs have been more popular than the posterior one. Posterior approach should not be underestimated since it has many benefits. To study it's feasibility, the effectivenes and safety of the lamino-foraminotomy for cervical disc disease, we review 10 surgical cases with posterior approach. Methods : Ten consecutive cervical lateral disc protrusion cases which underwent lamino-foraminotomy with or without discectomy were reviewed. Patient's age, sex, main symptom, EMG studies, surgical procedure were studied retrospectively. The outcome was rated with Prolo's scale. Results : There were one female and nine male patients. Major preoperative symptoms were radicular pain radiating to upper extremity, numbness, axial neck pain and motor weakness. Electromyography was performed in eight cases with six correspondent results. Lamino-foraminotomy was performed in all cases and discectomy was done in nine patients. By modified Prolo's outcome scale, nine patients enjoyed good results and one was moderate, nine patients were able to carry on their original occupations. The mean hospital stay was 14.6 days. There was no postoperative instability. Conclusion : With posterior approach, critical complications of anterior approach could be averted. No bone graft is needed. No graft donor site pain is expected either. Hostpital stay could be shortened. The posterior foraminotomy is an easy and effective procedure in the treatment of patients for laterally located soft disc herniations.

대함유도탄을 요격하기 위해서는 운동 성능이 뛰어나며 속도가 빠른 유도탄을 단시간에 발사할수 있어야 합니다. 이러한 요구 사항에 의거, 사정 거리는 비록 짧으나 대함유도탄과 같은 소형의 유도탄을 추적 및 격파할수 있는 유도탄이 필요하게 되어 단거리 지대공유도탄이 출현하여 점방어를 담당하게 되었습니다. 단거리 지대공유도탄은 경량, 소형인 유도탄으로부터 대형의 유도탄들로 형태면에서 천태만상이며, 대함유도탄의 위협이 각국 해군에 어떻게 투명되었는가를 엿볼수 있습니다

In this study, condensation heat transfer coefficients(HTCs) of 2 nonazeotropic refrigerant mixtures of HFC32/HFC134a and HFC134a/HCFC123 at various compositions were measured on a horizontal smooth tube. All data were taken at the vapor temperature of 39$^{\circ}C$ with a wall subcooling of 3~8K. Test results showed that HTCs of tested mixtures were 11.0~85.0% lower than the ideal values calculated by the mass fraction weighting of the pure components HTCs. Thermal resistance due to the diffusion vapor film was partly responsible for the significant reduction of HTCs with these nonazeotropic mixtures. The measured data were compared against the predicted ones by Colburn and Drew\`s film model and a good agreement was observed.
