Damping of Water Waves over Permeable Bed of Finite Depth

In this study, wave transformation by damping due to the permeable bed of finite depth is investigated. The relationship between wave damping rate and relative water depth are presented. The damping rate is used in the eigenfunction expansion method to calculate the wave dissipation over the permeable bed. For a permeable shoal, the eigenfunction expansion model result is compared with that of the integral equation method to show good agreement. The model is also used to examine the wave reflection over the permeable planar slope of various frequency. It has been found that in general relatively short waves are more influenced by the permeability of the permeable seabed than relatively long waves unless the water depth is so large that the influence of permeable bed on surface water waves disappears.

When deploying passenger airbag module, the upper part of housing assembly is deformed like bell mouth (called Bell Mouth) by gas pressure from inflator and it make an impacts on IP surrounding PAB module. results in fracture IP part. A sharp edge of broken IP part could be inflicts injury on occupant directly or makes deployment malfunction with tearing the cushion by sharp edge. However we have not been reliable effect analysis of factors and a systematic improvement procedure for Bell Mouth. It causes additional time and cost in the process of improving Bell Mouth. This paper constructed optimized analysis of method for design factors which effects on Bell Mouth by using Taguchi method and suggested improved technique of simulation for Bell Mouth.

급변하는 경영 환경에서 기업의 목표나 정책목적을 실현하기 위해 많은 기업들이 비즈니스 프로세스의 중요성을 인식하게 되면서 비즈니스 프로세스 관리에 대한 관심이 높아졌다. 이러한 비즈니스 프로세스를 관리하기 위해 일반적으로 모델링 작업을 수행하게 되는데 모델링 작업 시 예기치 못한 여러 가지 이상 현상을 포함 될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 본 연구자가 발표한 선행 논문을 바탕으로 기존의 이상 현상 검출 기법 중 그래프 축소 기법을 확장하여 모델링 단계에서 정의된 비즈니스 프로세스 모델의 구조적 이상 현상을 검출하고 명제 논리학을 이용하여 이의 타당성을 증명하였다.

Chronic atherosclerotic occlusion of the abdominal aorta is a rare disease in clinical practice. In this disease, juxtarenal aortic occlusion is defined as the condition extended, adjacent to the renal arteries. The treatment of juxtarenal aortic occlusion is more difficult than a ``simple`` abdominal aortic occlusion. Vascular surgery of a juxtarenal aortic occlusion-specifically aortic endarterectomy and bypass grafting-is a challenging procedure that almost invariably requires aortic cross-clamping above the level of the renal arteries, and may be associated with significant morbidity and mortality. With the advent of endovascular treatment, percutaneous transluminal angioplasty and stent implantation have been used increasingly as an alternative to conventional surgery in the management of patients with aortoiliac disease. However, endovascular treatment for juxtarenal aortic occlusion is not common and, also, special attention is needed with regard to possible renal complications. Here, we report the successful revascularization of a case of chronic juxtarenal aortic occlusion with endovascular treatment and adjunctive anticoagulation. (Korean J Med 2013;85:302-307)
