In this paper we demonstrated the applications of OTFTs (organic thin film transistors) to flexible displays such as AM-EPD (active matrix electrophoretic display) and AM-OLED (active matrix organic light emitting diode), and also to integrated circuits. The OTFTs using pentacene semiconductor layer and PVP gate dielectric and Au S/D electrodes exhibited good performance for AM-EPD with the mobility of 0.59 ㎠/V.sec, and with also good uniformity over 2.5 diagonal area. However, it is nor enough for AM-OLED requiring the mobility larger than 1 ㎠/V.sec for large area displays. The integrated circuits also worked, producing the operating frequency of 1MHz. We need to develop a fabrication process to reduce parasitic capacitance for high frequency operation.

The vasorelaxant effect of an extract of Lophatherum gracile Brongn (ELB) and its possible action mechanism were ascertained in aortic tissues isolated from rats. ELB relaxed endothelium-intact thoracic aorta in a dose-dependent manner. However, the induced vascular relaxation was abolished by removal in endothelium of the thoracic aorta. Pretreatment of endothelium-intact vascular tissues with $N^G$-nitro-L-arginine methyl ester (L-NAME) or 1H-[1,2,4]-oxadiazole-[4,3-$\alpha$]-quinoxalin-1-one (ODQ) significantly inhibited vascular relaxation induced by ELB. Moreover, ELB significantly increased cGMP production in aortic tissues, which was blocked by pretreatment with L-NAME or ODQ. The vasorelaxant effect of ELB was attenuated by tetraethylammonium (TEA), and glibenclamide. ELB-induced vasorelaxation was not blocked by atropine, propranolol, indomethacin, verapamil, and diltiazem. Taken together, the present study demonstrates that ELB dilates vascular smooth muscle via an endothelium-dependent NO-cGMP signaling pathway, which may be at least in part related with the function of $K^+$ channels.

The capacitive sensor has a simple structure, compact size and low cost, but a small dynamic range. The small range is caused by use of gap variation. If the sensor takes area variation type with one plate moving horizontally, it can have a large measurable range. While the area variation has relatively low sensitivity, some studies have found methods to improve the sensitivity. Even though the methods are effective, parameters of the results are limited and 2 dimensional. This study provides more practical and 3 dimensional analysis and suggests relations between parameters. Using the results, the optimized design parameters of a high dynamic range capacitive sensor can be found.

With the advancement and acceleration of digital technology, the demand and supply of healthcare big data are increasing. In Korea, the government and companies have made various efforts to utilize healthcare big data, such as deregulation data-related legal regulations and data linkage between different institutions. As a result, many researchers have been able to access a variety of healthcare big data. Although healthcare big data has a vast amount and high value, many researchers are unable to fully access healthcare big data because there are difficulties in processing, analysis, and interpretation for data. The data visualization is recognized as an important tool that can solve these limitations. Using data visualization, researchers can intuitively understand complex data and receive support for decision-making. Additionally, these visualizations promote effective communication between experts in different fields and between experts and non-experts. Visualization is used in a variety of research fields and processes, including data summarization, data exploration, and evaluation and interpretation of predictive models. Various types of visualization have different meanings depending on how they are expressed. Therefore, it is important to express the meaning of visualization appropriately. This study provides representative examples of visual representations for data summarization, data exploration, and predictive model evaluation. This study aimed to improve easier access and utilization of healthcare big data by providing R code and visualization results.
학습자자세, 학습관리장치, 맥락지식 -평생학습이론 구축을 위한 중심 개념 탐색-

이 연구의 목적은 그동안 주로 거대담론으로 다루어진 평생학습을 미시 혹은 중시적 접근으로 이론화하는데 필요한 중심 개념을 탐색하는 것이다. 평생학습의 시간축, 공간축, 의미축을 포착하기 위해 학습자자세, 학습관리장치, 맥락지식을 평생학습이론의 중심 개념으로 제시하였다. 학습 자자세는 학습활동을 사회문화역사적 현상으로 파악하기 위한 개념으로, 조건화된 학습자가 학습 사건을 경험하며 성취하는 행위자성이다. 학습관리장치는 인간의 다양한 생활영역에서 학습활동에 개입하는 언어적, 비언어적 모든 요소를 포함하는 집합체이자 요소들(담론, 제도, 조직, 도구 등) 사이의 네트워크이며 학습자와 연결된 권력/지식과의 관계 속에서 작동한다. 맥락지식은 과학적 지식과 경험적 지식의 이분법을 넘어 학습활동이라는 맥락에서 의미를 갖는 지식이다. 세개념간의 관계는 다음과 같다. 학습관리장치는 맥락지식의 유통을 통해 학습자를 (재)생산한다. 학습자자세는 맥락지식의 변형과 창출 및 유통을 위한 새로운 학습관리장치의 생성을 가능케 한다. 맥락지식의 유통은 학습활동의 발생 조건이다. 세 개의 중심 개념에 대한 후속 작업을 통한 평생학습이론 구축을 위해 1990년대 이후 한국 사회에서 전개되어 온 평생학습 실천 경험에 대한 사례 연구를 향후 과제로 제안하였다. Lifelong learning has so far been studied mainly within a macro discourse, being more of a policy rhetoric than a concept to figure out human learning activities. While adult learning theories have given plausible explanations for the learning phenomena within certain phases or stages of life in adulthood, it does not succeed in exploring lifelong learning activity and its impact on the formation of one’s life itself. In addition to the given macro discourse, this paper proposes a lifelong learning theory from the micro- and/or meso-level approach. To account for life stages (the progressive lifespan angle), domains of life (the horizontal life-wide angle), and life meanings (the axial life-deep angle), we introduce three core concepts and discuss their interrelationship. (1) Learner positions show what learners exhibit when experiencing learning events. (2) Learning management apparatuses represent all factors such as discourses, institutions and learning tools as well as the network among the factors, which engage in one s learning activities. (3) Contextual knowledge reveals what learners read into their learning activities. As to the interrelationship, learning management apparatuses (re)produce learners through the distribution of contextual knowledge. Learner positions enable learners to create new learning management apparatus to distribute, modify, and create contextual knowledge. Contextual knowledge lays the groundwork for learning activities. These core concepts require being substantiated and embodied by a empirical case studies to derive a lifelong learning theory that can tell more about our learning lives.

노숙인은 자신의 삶을 변화시키기 위한 장기적이고 체계적인 교육기회를 얻기가 어렵다. 이런 점에서 평생교육의 장에서 진행되고 있는 노숙인 대상 인문교양교육은 응급 구호와 물질적 차원의 일시적 지원과 달리 자존감 회복과 자기성찰을 통해 자립할 수 있는 근원적인 힘을 확보하는 통로라 할 수 있다. 이 연구에서는 노숙인이 인간으로서의 존엄성과 가치를 회복하고 장기적으로 삶의 방향을 재설정하는 계기로서 인문교양교육이 어떻게 작동하는지를 살펴보기 위해 대한성공회 노숙인다시서기지원센터가 운영하고 있는 〈성프란시스대학 인문학과정〉을 사례로 삼았다. 이 사례를 통해 노숙인을 성인 학습자로 간주하는 프로그램의 구조와 특성을 제시하고, 실제 프로그램 참여 노숙인의 학습경험이 어떤 양상으로 전개되었는지를 제시했다. 노숙인은 참여과정에서 ‘경계’에 서있는 학습자로서 경제적 어려움과 현실과의 괴리감 등으로 내적 갈등을 겪기도 했지만, 대화와 토론, 글쓰기 경험을 통해 자신의 생애경험과 맞물려 인문학적 질문들에 대한 성찰과 실존적 대화를 경험했다. 또 교육프로그램이 하나의 생활세계로 자리 잡으면서 타인과의 갈등을 해소하며 관계를 형성하는 과정을 학습하기도 했다. 이러한 분석을 통해 노숙인 문제를 해결하기 위한 평생교육적 접근의 필요성과 의의를 논의했다. Disconnected from the previous life, homeless people seem to live only for survival. Especially, because the homeless are disadvantaged groups, they are socially excluded from educational programs that provide chances to change their lives. In this sense, it is important for them to participate in the non-formal humanities education program aiming to empower them so as to stand by themselves. This study examined a Korean Clement course for the homeless in terms of its program content and principles of management. The participating homeless people learned how to practice self-respect and self-reflection. The educational intervention is different from providing food and shelter. Educational intervention assumes the homeless as active learners. As successful cases through participation in the humanities education program are reported continuously, it proves that learning experiences through educational program can give adult homeless learners a transformative opportunity for life. We should provide the homeless with various educational programs that aim to recover human dignity and find a better way of life.
단변량 기후반응함수를 이용한 금강수계 이수안전도 평가: 하천유지유량 관리 변화를 고려한 사례연구

대기온실가스 증가로 전지구 평균기온은 산업화 이전 대비 1.1℃ 상승했고 수자원시스템의 공급능력에 상당한 변화가 예상된다. 본 연구에서는 금강수계 내 여러 중권역의 이수안전도와 기후조건의 관계(기후반응함수)를 단변량 함수로 나타내 기후민감도를 동시에 평가할 수 있는 방법을 제안하였다. 사례연구를 위해 GR6J 모형으로 중권역별 자연유출을 모의했고 이를 Water Evaluation And Planning (WEAP) 최적모형에 입력해 2030년 수요전망에 대한 공급신뢰도를 평가하였다. 여러 중권역의 이수안전도를 동시에 비교하기 위해 평균 강수량과 잠재증발산량의 비율을 독립변수 사용하여 단변량 기후민감도 함수를 개발하였다. 사례연구 결과, 1991-2020 자연유출을 이용해 수계전체 물부족을 최소화시키는 운영을 가정했을 때 공급신뢰도는 19개 중권역 중 보청천유역에서 가장 낮았다. 하천유지유량의 우선순위를 농업용수와 생공용수과 동일하게 조정한 시나리오에서는 보청천유역, 초강유역, 논산천유역의 이수안전도가 크게 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 보청천유역, 초강유역, 논산천유역의 이수안전도는 모든 기후스트레스 테스테에서 크게 감소한 반면, 미호강유역, 금강공주유역, 금강하구유역은 아주 건조한 기후조건에서만 이수안전도가 감소했다. 대규모 인프라에서의 공급이 원활한 중권역의 기후민감도는 크게 변하지 않았다. 2021-2050 기후전망을 민감도함수에 적용했을 때 금강수계의 공급신뢰도는 대체로 좋아질 가능성이 높지만 하천유지유량 우선순위를 높이게 되면 지형적, 인위적으로 고립된 중권역에서 물부족은 심해질 것으로 분석되었다. 2021-2050기간 금강수계의 이수안전도는 기후스트레스 보다 하천관리정책의 변화에 더 큰 영향을 받을 것으로 판단된다. Due to the increasing greenhouse gas emissions, the global mean temperature has risen by 1.1℃ compared to pre-industrial levels, and significant changes are expected in functioning of water supply systems. In this study, we assessed impacts of climate change and instreamflow management on water supply reliability in the Geum River basin, Korea. We proposed univariate climate response functions, where mean precipitation and potential evaporation were coupled as an explanatory variable, to assess impacts of climate stress on multiple water supply reliabilities. To this end, natural streamflows were generated in the 19 sub-basins with the conceptual GR6J model. Then, the simulated streamflows were input into the Water Evaluation And Planning (WEAP) model. The dynamic optimization by WEAP allowed us to assess water supply reliability against the 2020 water demand projections. Results showed that when minimizing the water shortage of the entire river basin under the 1991-2020 climate, water supply reliability was lowest in the Bocheongcheon among the sub-basins. In a scenario where the priority of instreamflow maintenance is adjusted to be the same as municipal and industrial water use, water supply reliability in the Bocheongcheon, Chogang, and Nonsancheon sub-basins significantly decreased. The stress tests with 325 sets of climate perturbations showed that water supply reliability in the three sub-basins considerably decreased under all the climate stresses, while the sub-basins connected to large infrastructures did not change significantly. When using the 2021-2050 climate projections with the stress test results, water supply reliability in the Geum River basin was expected to generally improve, but if the priority of instreamflow maintenance is increased, water shortage is expected to worsen in geographically isolated sub-basins. Here, we suggest that the climate response function can be established by a single explanatory variable to assess climate change impacts of many sub-basin's performance simultaneously.
